They filled out my credit app, then went into another room for about an hour. They came back out and said I was approved. looking over the credit app, they put down that I made over 2x more than what my paystubs stated. I stupidly signed the paperwork and did not look over the credit app. I got the vehicle and a week later they kept blowing up my phone looking for a down payment I had already giving them. So I looked through the paperwork, and came across all these error. I tried to address these errors at the dealership, we were SCREAMED at and kicked out. I had to go to the credit union and put a hold on the Lien and make sure it wouldn’t go through. I spoke to the fraud department and they ended up not financing the vehicle. I was advised to give the vehicle back to the dealership. No problem on my end. We dropped it off and the manager tried to sweet talk me. I told him I was not doing business with them after the way I was treated. The also told me “we can still push the loan thru if we want too” I said absolutely not, the bank will not allow it. He tried to fight me tooth and nail on the loan issue. I asked to have it in writing that I gave the vehicle back. He refused to do so. I asked if he could void the paperwork and he refused that as well. I ended up just having to walk away and hope they don’t mess with any of my paperwork. More

Anyway, we tested the battery at home and again at Auto Zone, and it was a bad one that needed replacement. Took it back to Brighton Motors and they said the tires are the wrong size for the car and that the battery is fine. I contacted the CEO who said to bring it in again for a thorough mechanical review. So, I did and they ended up replacing the battery and offering me two tires of the correct size. It needs 4 exact tires because it's AWD. I left only to be stranded on I-96 a couple of weeks later. I'd purchased an aftermarket warranty through Endurance and had the car towed to the nearest BMW dealership. The dealership mechanics diagnosed the car with a blown vacuum pump, blown water pump, and blown fuel pump. What?!!!?! Oh, and a bad low tire pressure module. Endurance refused to cover the module, most of the labor, and the vacuum pump. After the covered repairs were completed, I drove it home based on the explicit information from Serra BMW that the car was safe to drive despite the vacuum pump leak. A couple weeks later, the car was smoking so bad that I decided to call Dixon Motorsports to get a quote on the vacuum pump. They've been great, but they discovered SERIOUS problems missed by Brighton Motors and Serra BMW. Issues that could've blown my engine and drivetrain. 7 weeks and fewer than 2,000 miles into owning this car, it now also has two blown gasket seals, a bad left front axle, a leaking front right wheel bearing, and a leaking vacuum pump!!!! The original repair bill from Serra was $5k. This new repair bill is just as much with 28 hours of expected labor, which alone is over $3k. Repairing all the major issues on this vehicle would cost almost $10k. And that doesn't include the new tires it needs because the current ones are the wrong size (and that means the odometer is off). Do not buy from Brighton or Chelsea Motors. I looked at the Carfax. I test drove 10 cars. When the CEO messaged me back after the battery was replaced, he worded his email very carefully. He said his mechanic had looked the car over again and they have now paid for and replaced everything they are willing to pay for. Read that again. They knew this car was full of expensive issues and sold it to me knowing this. More

If I could give them a ZERO. ...I would! I was in helping my son purchase a car. He needed me to be a cosigner. Unbeknownst to me they proceeded to run FOUR hard credit checks. ...I would! I was in helping my son purchase a car. He needed me to be a cosigner. Unbeknownst to me they proceeded to run FOUR hard credit checks. I only authorized one. Upon speaking with their finance department I'm informed, in a condescending tone, that they run as many as they want and too bad about the 20 point credit score hit!🤬😡🤬 Word to the wise.....SHOP ELSEWHERE! Short answer: Don't go here. The sales person "Thomas Bemer" will never get back to you if you send emails to him. They simply do not care to deal with people who are buying The sales person "Thomas Bemer" will never get back to you if you send emails to him. They simply do not care to deal with people who are buying out-of-state. You will never get any response to your questions from the people who work here, which is really sad, because I think they only want to deal with people who are directly in front of them, so they can bamboozle people into lousy scammy deals, that are predatory. "Al Consiglio" would have you sign a form that absolves them of all liability, but puts the burden on you for a vehicle you don't own, if it is involved in an accident while on Their Property, thus claiming that if the car your interested in gets damaged, you owe them 100% of the outstanding balance for the car. They also want you to sign a form that indicates they can sell your information to anyone they wish to, and you have no choice in the matter. The cars they get are from a dealership that went defunct for shoddy service and faking service, so it''s basically an off-shoot of that. I would steer clear of this place for anyone in the future, who doesn't wish to be ripped off. I was really put off by the salesperson (Thomas) not answering any of my questions, and instead demanding a $2500 cash deposit wired to the dealership, before they would do anything. That's just not how good salesmanship works. More
18 year old kid goes in to buy an expensive sports car, puts some money down, signs a contract. He finds out the same day that the insurance on said car is way out of his price range. Goes back to the deale puts some money down, signs a contract. He finds out the same day that the insurance on said car is way out of his price range. Goes back to the dealership the next day to see if they will give him his partial down payment back and cancel the sale, with his grandpa. Grandpa thinks his grandson has some period of time before the sale was official and that the dealership took advantage of the kid. They are told that the kid now owns that car. Grandpa gets mad and raises his voice, "Come on man". He pleads with the finance manager, Paul Prichord. Gramps is obviously scared of what this could mean for the kids financial future. What a terrible mistake on his part! The Finance manager then starts swearing, at Grandpa, and starts calling him names. To see these guys in action was frightening, literally swearing obscenities at this old man. He was so upset. I felt so sorry for him. I stopped in to look at some cars for my kid while it was going down and quickly got out of there. Sound like the kind of place you want to do business? I just hope they didn't have a bunch of potential customers, like 6 other grandchildren to potentially buy cars there over the next few years! More
