I went there Saturday on a post that I saw on craiglist. I read some of the reviews here and wasn't too opimistic. I called there and talked to them about the reviews and Mike told me that most of them were I read some of the reviews here and wasn't too opimistic. I called there and talked to them about the reviews and Mike told me that most of them were written by people with bad credit that didn't have everything go their way and wanted to blame the dealer for their credit problems. He went over some of the posts with me and was able to tell me about the customer and what went on. Sounded good enough to get me in. I had a repo with CAC in November and I wanted a Charger that they had posted. Long story short, I got the Charger with "no" money down and am truly impressed. All the other dealers I went to wanted to lay a guilt trip on me and wanted a lot of money down. Consumers did get me to put down money to cover my state fees. Repo on a Taurus, drive away two months later in a Charger. I'm good with them. More
This is by far the worst company I have ever seen they will not quit calling us. Very rude and junk for cars. We drover all the way there two hrs to be told that they already had a deposit on the car we will not quit calling us. Very rude and junk for cars. We drover all the way there two hrs to be told that they already had a deposit on the car we were suppose to buy. Big Surprise they told my mom to come see it the next day. What a joke. Than we get a call the next day saying if we would like to come back with a better attitude they would be more than glad to help us... NOT... Two days later the same call.. We whent there with over 9000 cash in our pocket and bought a truck from a big dealership on the way home. Please think twice before buying there. Don't drive two hrs. I read all these reviews and still drove, wished I wouldn't have. More
Nothing but confusion over who is lending the money why there is no reputable website that the bank employee Sara provided National Bank.com.... WRONG.... could not give me a direct number had to call deal there is no reputable website that the bank employee Sara provided National Bank.com.... WRONG.... could not give me a direct number had to call dealership to get transferred and nothing but misinformation. Shoddy looking vehicles with speedometer, and odometer not working in the pacifica, freestyle which was banged up and not one care detailed ready for purchase. Don't bother with this place something is definitely not on the up and up! Shame on lending tree and car.com for recommending this lender and dealership. More
After receiving emails, phone calls and voicemails stating that they were a LOAN company calling to offer me a LOW interest loan, with 0 down and a FULL offer on my trade in- we went to check them out stating that they were a LOAN company calling to offer me a LOW interest loan, with 0 down and a FULL offer on my trade in- we went to check them out. Number 1- what kind of Suzuki dealer doesn't carry ANY Suzuki cars? When we asked they said they purchased the dealership from someone else and wouldn't be keeping the name much longer. Asked someone else who worked there and they said that they didn't like the Suzuki merchandise anymore? Lets get the story straight according to the internet they lost thier license to sell Suzuki due to; unethical sales practices! Number 2- if we have relatively bad credit, of a score UNDER 650 how can they offer us such good rates? Well because what they say online, in voicemail and on the phone isn't the same as what they will do for you. We get there and we have to PAY fees and taxes up front, finance charges are tacked on but unexplained and our interest rate was WAY above the legal limit!! Number 3- they will say whatever they can to get you in the door... But the cost of the car was above the value by far, we agreed on a full tank of gas and a full size spare tire only to get neither of those upon pick up of car. Number 4- They cannot explain WHO the lender is, WHAT the payments will be and the LENGTH of the loan... -When we took possession of the car they didn't even tell us these things?! When I called to get info they couldn't tell me on the phone they had to send the paperwork to the lender then send it to me... other then finding out the original car payment we agreed upon of $300 a month was now $372 a month, and the interest rate they promised to be LOW has to be over 40%! Because at a 4 year loan, which we were told would be a 2-3 year loan, the car we agreed to pay 9000 for will cost us more then 17000. Number 5- They impersionate They told us they were a lender on the phone, told us they could gaurentee a low intrest and 0 down... then we get there and none of these things are correct.... I believe; it's illegal to impersonate a federal company- like BANK. Selling a USED car at a rediculous rate and charging over the legal limist interest rates is illegal And more importantly not giving important information like a PURCHASE agreement is illegal. I wouldn't go there again if you paid us- we are seeking legal action- as I suggest everyone else does. More
I found on craigslist advertisement about 2008 Trailblazer. I called and took few minutes before somebody talk to me. The salesperson name TOM he couldn't answer my question: want around the quest Trailblazer. I called and took few minutes before somebody talk to me. The salesperson name TOM he couldn't answer my question: want around the questions. I asked for car fax - he offered CARMAX, but he couldn't show me because this is only for dealer issue from GM. They performed 150 points inspection:? I asked about brakes, suspension, 4x4 - no answers. This place should be shut down by state and investigated by General Attorney in Michigan. It is fraudulent place, with no brains. They offered 22% interest rate - joke? The sale person told me - THEY ARE RATED FIRST IN THE SATYSFACTION AND SALE in USA. Maybe in bicycle sale, not car. I agree with all the others. They should be shut down! We all should contact the State of Michigan regarding them! More

Mike Cizmar and Tom MacDonald are the WORST car salesman I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They are both extremely unprofessional, unscrupulous and are major game players. They are also very i I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They are both extremely unprofessional, unscrupulous and are major game players. They are also very immature and rude in their correspondence. A couple examples: I was told by Mike that he would give me a $200 "finders fee" if I sent him the names of any dealers that had car deals that beat theirs. I found two that did. I drove a car at a competitor's dealership that was priced thousands less than the same cars at Consumer's Suzuki. When I asked Mike Cizmar for my finder's fee, he responded that he wasn't going to pay me unless I actually bought the other car and sold it to him! I think he wanted it done this way so he could then sell the lower-priced car to someone at thousands more than the original dealer was selling it. Tom MacDonald agreed with Mike that I didn't earn the finder's fee because I needed to do more than just find the car, but I needed to purchase it for them so they could sell it at a major profit. Can you believe this? They both told me the car probably didn't exist for such a low price, yet I had just driven the car at the other dealership and had the low price in writing. They accused me of lying and referred to the other dealership as "small time" and again suggested the MUCH lower priced car probably didn't even exist. I received a dozen rude and condescending emails from both Mike Cizmar and Tom MacDonald over the course of just one day in which they belittled me and told me they weren't going to send me any money, even though I had done exactly what Mike Cizmar had asked. They went back on their word to me and treated me the complete opposite of how a customer at a decent and ethical dealership would be treated. I wouldn't buy a paper clip from Mike or Tom, let alone an automobile. My advice is to STAY AWAY from Consumer's Suzuki of Brighton. More
I was told I was being a "Dick" because they warped my rotors and released the vehicle to me in that condition. Then when I complained that it felt like the vehicle was shaking itself apart, was told I wa rotors and released the vehicle to me in that condition. Then when I complained that it felt like the vehicle was shaking itself apart, was told I was overreacting and to get over it. More
