Do not go here!! They suckered us into getting a vehicle which is a very nice car but gave us crap for a trade in we had that blue book on it was 4500 they only gave u They suckered us into getting a vehicle which is a very nice car but gave us crap for a trade in we had that blue book on it was 4500 they only gave us 1000, then they worked around a lot to get us approved. After leaving there I just felt something bad about them an sure enough they have called family members an given out my personal info which isn't professional at all. An they won't give my bro in law his money for referring us. Very shady More
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We shopped around and found the vehicle we wanted for the right price; went into the dealership - they talked us into using their finance (promised 1.9%) but when the paperwork came vehicle we wanted for the right price; went into the dealership - they talked us into using their finance (promised 1.9%) but when the paperwork came out it showed 9.9% and claimed our credit changed since the approval (but we already had a 4.9% approval through our own bank). Once we had that all straightened out (I chose to stick with my bank for financing because they apparently can't do math), they changed the negotiated price of the vehicle and said it 'was no longer on sale'. The price went through the roof and I told them no thanks - they wanted me to talk to their sales manager Mike. SO, I decided to speak with Mike. Mike Cizmar, the sales manager, tried to convince me this was the best vehicle around for the money and I OWED them my business for taking up so much time. When I informed him that they LOST my business because they were a shady group, he got upset and threatened to sue me for slander (which isn't possible, he was the only one who heard it - don't threaten me xxxxxxx). Finally I decided it was going nowhere because this 'GROUP' was ridiculous and Mike told me "that's the business, buy when you can or lose out..." When I stood up to leave, he cut me off at the door and stood between me and the door trying to convince me there as just a misunderstanding. I agree - there was a misunderstanding - I thought this place was a professional business and I also thought a minimum level of decency existed in this world - WRONG!!! Aftrewards, they called us repeatedly trying to get us to come back in for a 'better deal' (every day for nearly a month until we filed a complaint with the state) Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! They are NOT EVEN a real dealer for Suzuki... its misleading and should be illegal! More
If you're considering purchasing a vehicle from this "dealership" you'd better reconsider. The reviews here echo horror minus 3 highly suspicious 5 star ratings. My experience here today was nothing sho "dealership" you'd better reconsider. The reviews here echo horror minus 3 highly suspicious 5 star ratings. My experience here today was nothing short of traumatic. I came in from an hour and a half away to check out a Grand Prix posted on Craigslist for $7995. The advertisement read "Mint condition, 84,000 miles" Well, when I arrived I parked the car and browsed around looking at the various vehicles they had in stock until I found the one advertised. The Grand Prix was far from mint, to say the least. The mileage was correct, however, and I decided to take it for a test drive. I walked inside of a poorly renovated building to be begrudgingly greeted by a middle aged lady (Valerie) who seemed displeased to see me. I told her my intentions for coming and that I talked to another representative (Sara) over the phone and that I'd like to take the vehicle for a test drive. She got a copy of my license, pulled the car around and away I went (for 20 minutes or less, I was instructed) The car drove alright, minus some obvious suspension problems and I came in to discuss terms of purchase. I first went through Valerie who guided me through the financial process and gradually warmed up a bit and became much more friendly as time went on. Once we got some figures totaled, the sales representative (Mike) finally spoke with me and I told him of my apprehensiveness considering in my head the price of the vehicle and the exterior and interior damage and that the $7995 was a sale price most likely to not be negotiated much further down. In an effort to keep me from walking out he began to push the conversation forward as most salesmen would, and by this point I had not become suspicious yet. After he realized the price was the major issue, he casually threw out a new price of $6400 and asked if that might be more to my liking. I accepted the offer and he began drawing up the paperwork and discussing insurance. He told me the insurance company they go through would likely give me a 6 month payment of about $400 and they could tack it into my car payment. (what nonsense?) The payment the gentleman from the insurance company over the phone told me was to be $170 a month. When I told Mike that I wasn't interested he tried to soothe me by saying "well that's better than the $400, so we're good, right?" I shrugged it off and figured I'd change my insurance the next day. Then, when it came to signing papers he brought me a purchasing agreement paper with the original $7,995 price. I told him that I wouldn't sign it considering it wasn't the price we agreed upon he tried to walk me through the math, which didn't add up in the slightest. Then after about 10 minutes of hassle he said "no no no, this isn't one you sign, this is nothing. See, look" and tore the paper up and went into the back to print off a new one. The new one he printed off had $6400 at the bottom but it was the "TOTAL FINANCE AMOUNT" which means my $2500 down payment (which i had already handed over out of stupidity) counted for nothing. The strangest thing is the top price amount was THE SAME ($7995) which means he only manipulated the surcharges such as title fees and taxes etc. Which means most of these charges are made up and at his discretion. I told him again, this isn't the price we agreed upon. We agreed on $6400 as a price, not as a total after I give you my $2500. that would make the price $8900. He played like I was confused and tried to push me into signing the document, at which point I stood up, tore the papers in front of him and demanded my $2500 back. Luckily I'm somewhat a physically intimidating Marine Corps veteran otherwise I believe my experience would've been much like the others whose money was never refunded. DO NOT PLAY WITH FIRE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Go to a reputable dealer or buy from an owner. There are absolutely no redeeming qualities to this business and these are not the kind of people you want to entrust with your money. P.S. My special suzuki anecdote was that "Suzuki decided to stop selling cars here in the U.S., so our parent company now needs to decide what they're going to do with us." So there's a definite lie there compared to what all of these other people are saying. I'd absolutely believe that they were shut down by suzuki. Terrible place. BEWARE. More
Mike Cizmar is a scam artis, he also spoke to me in a way no human should ever have to be spoken to. He took 200.00 for a hold said I had 7 days to decide on his vehicle or any other and I could recieve my 2 no human should ever have to be spoken to. He took 200.00 for a hold said I had 7 days to decide on his vehicle or any other and I could recieve my 200.00 deposit back, I found something cleaner and better same price that day, was told that same day I would recieve my check in the mail on Friday, I never recieved it. I was told on Monday they would drop the vehicle from 6000 to 5200 I still refused because the vehicle I found was in great condition compared to his. I was told by the young lady Sara she was told not to mail my cash out if I wanted it come get it. Called back spoke with Valarie and she said fax her my id and a letter saying I dont want the car, I did. Then I called to make sure they recieved the fax and Mike answers and says look you want your money come get it, if you dont come today you dont get it. I went to pick my cash up all the way from Lansing left work early and he asked me to sign a letter stating I recieved my cash and then he would mail my check , I said no called 911 waited 3 hours for them while waiting I was slandered with lots of foul names, and cops came said he would have me sign but he was to mail my check to me the next day he said ok, I never got the check yet. This will cost Mike way more than 200.00 when Im done.....This is my word. I want to warn anyone who is thinking to use this company look around, this company is rude, untrue, and dont like a certain type of people. I have asked several times for the owners info I was denied. More
Went to this dealership to purchase a 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE. Scheduled a test drive over the phone with a woman who identified herself as Krystal (sp?). Arrived at the dealership for the scheduled Discovery SE. Scheduled a test drive over the phone with a woman who identified herself as Krystal (sp?). Arrived at the dealership for the scheduled test drive and and I briefly spoke to Mike, who apparently is the sales manager. He had no clue, reference the test drive, and furthermore, if I did take it for a test drive, stated that I shouldn't drive too far from the dealership since the Discovery had not been safety inspected. Hmmm, ok. I then spoke to Valerie, who was pleasant enough. She took me out to the Discovery (which was dirty, inside and out) and spoke to me about the vehicle. I then took it for a test drive, which included driving at 70-80mph on I-96. It drove ok, but the check engine light came on. I didn't think that was a big deal, since I'd be taking it to Land Rover Farmington Hills for a safety inpection of my own, and if it didn't check out, would not purchase the vehicle. Anyways, I returned to the dealership, put a $100 deposit down, and requested a second test drive the following day, with my girlfriend present that time. Valerie advised she would do her best to have their safety inspection complete and the vehicle washed. The following day, approximately 2 hours before the scheduled second test drive, Valerie called me to appologize and tell me the vehicle was not ready for the test drive, giving me a BS story that she was not able to get their inspection done. Do they want to sell the vehicle, or what? She returned the deposit, although, as of now, it has yet to post back to my bank account. At this point, I did a little research on the dealership, and discovered many people have had the run-around treatment from this dealership, as well. I recommend avoiding this dealership, as it wasted my time and energy. More
This dealer is the absolute worst place in the country to purchase a vehicle. We bought a Mountainer there and after we got home we found out the transfer case was broke so we took the truck back to them on purchase a vehicle. This place is a big joke, I went in to buy a 2009 f-150 with 120,000 miles. When I got there the truck was covered in mud, and used propane tanks in the cab. I got past all that but then realized the truck with 120,000 miles. When I got there the truck was covered in mud, and used propane tanks in the cab. I got past all that but then realized the truck had 180,000 miles. So mike pushed a 2004 Santa fea on me. I bought it and 3 days after I noticed oil in my driveway. I looked and the drain plug was loose. After leaking 4 qorts of oil mike told me I should of drove it up before I put oil into it. Any one with common sense knows its bad to drive with no oil in the motor. 2 months later they took me to small claims courts for 756.00 because of miles and wear and tear. Mike will be seeing me again More
I was looking for a 2006/2007 chrysler 300 for months. I've went to a few dealers that wanted a down payment that wasn't realistic for me at this time. I was approved at one dealership and was told that I I've went to a few dealers that wanted a down payment that wasn't realistic for me at this time. I was approved at one dealership and was told that I could only afford a chevy impala or a chevy cobalt. Lol! I thought I was on the show punk'd! So I showed the dealer on my phone a few chrysler 300's that were for sale for the same price that I was approved for the impala/cobalt. You should've seen the look on the dealers face, it was priceless! Long story short, I told this dealer everthing that I was looking for, even the price. He said he would be working on it, never heard from him. I found a car on craigs list through an app for my phone. I got in touch with Mike Cizar at Consumers Suzuki. He gave me all the info I needed and was able to get me approved with what I had for a down payment. Mike addressed all of my concerns and was straight with me. Not only that, he had exactly what I was looking for in a car and more. I am very pleased with my car buying experience at Consumers Suzuki. I have my chrysler 300 sitting in my driveway! Thank you, Mike! More
This is the WORST experience I have ever experienced in My Life. Called the dealership at the end of May after seeing their ads on craigslist advertising that they finance EVERYBODY regardless of bad Credi My Life. Called the dealership at the end of May after seeing their ads on craigslist advertising that they finance EVERYBODY regardless of bad Credit, No credit and the claim that they had a 0 Down program for people with bad credit. My first visit was on july 2nd, the dealer Mike told me that he could only get me 3 out of the 15 cars that they had on the lot. two of the cars were priced at $6995 and the other was $3995. He told me that with my credit score, there was NO WAY the lender would finance any other car on the lot. I went with the Chevy Impala that was $6995.Went back on July 3rd and he told me that the lender wanted $1000 down, I initially turned the offer down because they advertise "0 DOWN" I took him up on the offer only because I had been missing work and needed a reliable car quick. I finally was able to pick up my car on July 4th. my payments we re wayyyyy more than he told me they would be . They were ($441.00) and he said they'd be under ($350.00). come to find out, I was only on a 24 month loan. The car was advertised at 124,000 miles but actually had 171,000 miles on it. I told him that I did not want the vehicle any longer, took the vehicle home, found out that the transmission was about to go out. Called Mike and he said to get full coverage on it, do my interview with the lender and then he would get the vehcile swapped. transmission went out on July 17th. I had to pay $300 to get the vehicle towed back to them, Then when i got there, he told me that the lender said i would need an extra 20% down and plus taxes and state fees to get the other vehicle. I called the lender in his face, and they said they didn't say anything like that and that they hadn't even had that conversation with Mike. they said that all they do is purchase the contracts after mike is done with them. That was my 2nd time calling the lender and them telling me that they didnt say what Mike was claiming so I told Mike that I just wanted my money back. 3 days prior, he told me that I could get my money back. I asked if he had to be there and he said "No" he said the ladies in the front are the ones that write the check. I asked for my check and he pretended to look for the checks, then said "i don't have any checks here, the main office will mail one out tomorrow" I then demanded a receipt, all he gave me was a odometer statement saying how many miles were on vehicle when I returned it. my problem is that they are a bunch of LIARS! They claim to have other branches, thats a LIE! They claim to have a main office, that's a LIE! and they claim the Suzuki name, I did my research and his suzuki license is gone because he is shiesty, he only has a regualar license to sell cars. Do NOT go to him! Even if your credit is bad, there are plenty of other places to try! I am impatiently waiting on my check. I will definitely re-post in a few days and tell you how that went. Most stressful experience I have EVER dealt with. More
I went there to purchase a G6 that I found from them on craigs list. I told them in advance that I had bad credit and that other dealers told me I need more money than I had down, so I expected the worse. craigs list. I told them in advance that I had bad credit and that other dealers told me I need more money than I had down, so I expected the worse. I'm $500 lighter, my downpayment, but I have a G6 in my driveway. I sent a co worker there, who also got a car. They gave me $200 for the referal and asked if I would post a review here. I figured, good experience, why not. That's my story. More
