Car buying nightmare? After thirteen years I had to start the dreaded task of buying a new vehicle. I was not looking forward to all the BS that comes from the salesmen/wom After thirteen years I had to start the dreaded task of buying a new vehicle. I was not looking forward to all the BS that comes from the salesmen/women. So that being said ,I armed myself with every tool that is out there to help me make my purchase.(KBB, Edmunds ect.),just knowing what I was going up against. The old "Bait and Switch", "Sorry we sold that one but we have this one", "Oh we need to update our web site inventory", "If we don't have it on our lot ,we can get it from another at no cost to you". $198, and 290 miles on the vehicle later... and what happen to NO COST and another 10 miles on the vehicle it's consider used! "You have to order the running board separately, but their only $450"! or the best one" Let me go and see what my manager can do"! REALLY! So let the BS begin! Four dealerships later, I have come out with more knowledge of the Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited that any human should know! with all their fast talking, wheeling and dealing,trying to be my best buddy,I was nearly close to ending my search,when a friend suggested Brigham and gill. Off to do more home work, I went on their web site. They had three jeeps that had everything I wanted. Called to make sure they had them, two out of three is still available.Great I'll be there shortly. As I walked into the dealership,the pain in my temples pulsated with each step I took. My stomach churning with the sour pain of dread,you know the feeling! you've all been there! I was greeted by a polite gentleman for which I told him who I was and that I had called earlier and I was interested in the two jeeps. He told me it would be 5-10 minutes before someone could help me. 5 minute later ,out comes Rith Lan. A very polite, personable,straight forward young man. Maybe my beacon of light? My savoir? My light at the end of the tunnel? We'll see about that. At this point my defenses are up and with a poor attitude, this poor kid has no chance! I told him what I was looking for and my price range.We took a short ride over to the other lot,had a look at the two that they had.Happily surprised, It was the Jeep I have been looking for for months! The price was the cheapest I have seen, and best of all the running boards came with it! And I will add, it only had 3 miles on it!! There was no BS. I'm seeing the light folks! As we drove back to the dealership,I notice that the pain between my eyes was subsiding and the twinge in my stomach slowly fading away. Still cautious and my guard still up,we sat and went over the whole deal. We had to just finalize on a trade in. So I met and talk with Chip. I felt I received a good deal for a trade in.I didn't need finance thu I did meet with Mark and had to sign some papers. The whole process took about an hour. I picked up my new Jeep the next day. Rith went thru the whole jeep with me. Set up my blue tooth. Told me if I had trouble putting the soft top on,to bring it in and they'll do it for me. All in all it was a great experience from start to finish. Great dealership. professional sales people. No gimmicks,no fast talking, I'm your best buddy attitude. Most of all as a girl,I didn't feel that I was talked down to, nor did I have to play up to that whole "Boy's club" attitude. they all had respect and professionalism towards me. I called the night before we visited, stated the car we wanted off their site, the car we were looking to trade in, how we wanted to pay, and asked Louis if he could meet the out of pocket price we were looking for. He said yes, so we drove over the next day, and were greeted by Louis with the keys to the Jeep so we could take it for a test drive. After returning from the test drive it took roughly 10 minutes to get the details of the deal hashed out, and true to his word, Louis got us the out of pocket price that we were looking for. By far the best dealership experience I have ever had, and I highly recommend Brigham Gill and Louis to anyone looking to buy a new Jeep. More
