Then they bombarded us with telephone calls and emails promising better and better deals. NO WAY!!! Kemper KIA was totally different in a very nice way! They were like a family and treated us like we were part of it! No high pressure sales and very polite and understanding of our needs and wants. They sold us on a new car in very short time, and we are very happy with it. We would definitely go back to them for future needs. Amazing experience My first new car where no games were played. It was hassle free and friendly. I stopped in mid December and came back the Saturday after Christmas. Over the years, my wife and I have purchased or leased several vehicles and as a result have not had a positive experience. When it was time to "bite the bullet" and look for a car that was already decided upon, we contacted three KIA dealers in my area over the internet. I was extremely specific on my parameters. Such as: out the door price, model, year, and if we considered a pre-owned maximum mileage. I explained that if they each could accommodate my parameters, to let me know. We did not want to go to a dealer sit for an inordinately amount of time, while they try to wear us down, to make a deal. Two responded. One called me several times without letting me know if they could meet our requirements. Very obnoxious indeed. We visited one who informed me that they could accommodate my request. Upon entering, the person that we were communicating with was off. OK. No concern, so we thought. We were directed to a sales person who had no idea of our previous communication or purchase parameters. By the time he went to his manager and to review my trade in, it was over ONE HOUR! We could not make a deal and we walked out. As we was getting ready to leave, the salesman indicated that they were the biggest dealer in the area and it would be pointless to go anywhere else. My wife was so feed up with the process that she considered not going to our last stop which was Kemper. I am glad I convinced her they we should continue our quest. Here is the result of our positive adventure. Matt Woodward was the sales rep that I was communicating with. When we entered the showroom and was greeted by him, he immediately knew who we were. He was prepared. He had a listing of the vehicles available based upon our parameters. He explained that the dealer was family owned. No sales manager. No high pressure. In fact, the owners were there and greeted us. We chose the vehicle we were interested in. We were encouraged to test drive it. And, this is a big and...he did not accompany us while test driving. Unbelievable! The first time ever that this occurred. During the test drive, my trade in was evaluated. When we returned, we sat, talked calmly about price and MADE THE DEAL! We were out within the hour with our new vehicle. Another mention. I had installed a satellite radio in my trade in. Mr. Kemper and Matt agreed to remove the radio for us (no cost) so that we could use it for another of our vehicles. We informed both them that moving forward, Kemper will be our only vehicle dealership. More

Surprise number two, Betsie handled the whole transaction. We did not have to sit with a finance person. All in all the best car buying/leasing experience I have ever had. More
From the first time I spoke with Matthew Woodward on the telephone prior to visiting the dealership, I was impressed with his manner. I was able to get the exact vehicle that I was looking for in no time at all at a competitive price without going through the "back and forth" that can occurs when you are finalizing the deal. Reached out to Kemper Kia and was fortunate enough to be able to work with Matt Woodward who did not sell me a car but helped get me into one. Polar opposite experience than what I have come to dread. Met with Matt on a Saturday and picked up my new Optima EX on Monday. I couldn't be more pleased. Full disclosure, no oily pitches and no aggravation. There was even a Mr. Kemper on premises to address concerns and give us a facility tour! There's a reason they've been in business over 70 years and it's evident. I will happily recommend Kemper Kia to family and friends. More
My experience was great! I felt so comfortable and salesperson made sure I sat in and looked at all models even though I thought I knew what I wanted. The whole office seems quiet and relaxed. On the car car windshield they had 2 incentives while going through paperwork my sales person noticed that there was a mistake that would have made car $500 more (incentive was for the week before). The owner came over didn't even think about it and said "we have to honer it because it was there". All the sales people seemed so nice. I came home and told my husband that we will never buy a car from anywhere else.. More

It was the most comfortable, least stressful car buying experience I ever had. There was no pressure, no feeling that he was wheeling and dealing. The financing and sales paperwork was quick and smooth. Would definitely recommend Kemper to anyone I know that's looking for a Kia. More
