No Gimmicks at Kemper’s EVER. Thank you for your comment SoulKIA16. Firstly, congratulations on your new Soul! The award winning 2016 KIA Soul is a great car! We’re happy that you chose KIA but we are troubled that you didn’t choose Kemper’s. We’re are very sorry that you felt dissatisfied in your latest visit to us. As Phil explained to you at the time, Danny was away that week and he contacted as soon as he returned. Phil said that you requested him and he was the only sales person you preferred to use. We are confused as to why you say we didn’t reach out to you? We take accusations about our honesty very seriously. We have attempted to contact you numerous times to address your concerns but have not been able to. We believe your complaint lies with TrueCar. Kemper always honors the TrueCar pricing certificate which clearly references the Dupont Warranty on the pricing certificate which is a dealer installed option. Kemper is always upfront about any dealer installed options. In fact, the ONLY dealer installed option Kemper KIA offers is Dupont protection because we believe in the quality of the product and the protection it provides. When it comes to comparing prices, it’s important to compare the EXACT same model, as well as the finance rates, the amount of your down payment and most importantly the price you were offered for your trade in. Unfortunately, it is easy for another dealership’s finance department to confuse the final price once it has another quote to compare to by altering one or more of those variables. In an effort to provide a low pressure experience, Kemper has eliminated the typical dealership finance department. Customers work with only one sales associate, we work with our computer screens turned towards you so you can see all the numbers. We are pleased that you are happy with the deal you reached with another dealer. That is what is important in the end. Our concern is that you have posted a negative review about us without knowing if the 2 deals were actually the same. We recognize that it is not your responsibility to offer us that information but without knowing the facts then we are are publicly, anonymously and unfairly being accused of something that we have no way to address. All we ask is the opportunity to accurately address your concerns. If there is a lesson for us to learn because of your experience, we are eager to learn it. We urge you to give us a call.
