I purchased a slate gray 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV LT from Bridgewater Chevrolet on July 26th, 2021. My salesman was Jim Knoeller who I found very kind and helpful. Everything was great until I received a pho Bridgewater Chevrolet on July 26th, 2021. My salesman was Jim Knoeller who I found very kind and helpful. Everything was great until I received a phone call from Eric on August 6, 2021, at 4:20 pm telling me my plates were in, but that there has been a mess up and that the VIN was put in wrong and that the VIN registered to my plates was a black car, but that it is an easy fix and that they can either fix the paperwork or bring back the gray car and leave with the black one with nothing to do. I told him I would want to keep the gray car and that I would come in the next day to get everything corrected later in the evening because I had an event in the morning and he said see you then. Knowing how long car stuff takes, I missed the event to take care of the car situation as soon as they opened and when I went to meet up with Jim, he told me wasn’t expecting me so soon and on his desk was the keys to the black Chevy Bolt and he handed the keys to a gentleman who proceeded to bring the car around to try and get me to look at it and take it home. I never said I wanted the black car. I repeatedly reminded them that I purchased the gray car and I wanted the gray car and to fix the simple mistake they made. A guy who appeared to be the sales manager kept trying to get me to take the black car, even offered to pay 3 car payments and explained that I could just drive off with the black car and that to keep me in the gray car, they would have to go through all this work with rebates and stuff and they aren’t sure how it would go. Not my fault, I stayed stern that I wanted the gray car that I drove off the lot on the original date of purchase. After a few hours of this and many tactics to try and get me into the black car, I looked at this guy and I said, “I noticed both cars are still listed on the website, correct VINs and all. I bet someone is interested in my car. Also, the insurance information and the DMV information do not match and I simply cannot just drive off this lot as it is illegal,” and suddenly tunes changed and my paperwork was being fixed. A good bait and switch kind of tactic. I left that day with the slate gray car. On September 2, 2021, my car was totaled by Hurricane Ida (Note: Bridgewater Chevrolet was heavily impacted by this same flood, though this has no impact on this complaint, they are aware of damages). After a long process, the insurance company paid off GM Financial at the beginning of October 2021 in full. No GAP claim was filed and no claims or warranties were used as the car was fully paid by the insurance company. GM Financial told me now that the car was paid off, I need to go to the dealership with proof of payoff and total loss to cancel the warranties. I called Bridgewater Chevrolet and spoke with Chris in finance at 10:18 am to let them know I would be canceling and was told I need to come in and sign documents. I signed documents for cancellation of the warranties on October 19, 2021, at 11 am with Jim Knoeller, who took copies of the proof of loss and then took all the signed documents to the back to someone who would handle the matter, but to this day I do not know who is dealing with this matter. I did not receive signed and filled-out copies of these documents. Today, October 29, 2021, I called the company that handles my warranties, Smart Autocare and CNA National, at 9:10 am to discuss whether they have received any documents and they told me they haven’t and to send copies of the signed cancellation documents from the dealer to cancellations@smartautocare.com to get the process started. At around 10 am, I went to Bridgewater Chevrolet to discuss with Chris if I can get copies of those documents and he replied he could not get them for me because they are in someone's office who will be there at 11 am and that he will email me the documents then. I still have not received the documents. He took a picture of my name, so he could find my information to send it to me. He explained that someone from the catastrophe department is handling my case, but I called the warranty company and they told me that this does not exist and since I did not take out a claim because my cause was paid in full by the insurance company, that his response does not make sense. Based on my experience here, I will never buy a GM product again, never recommend GM, never recommend Bridgewater Chevy, and will spread the word about that. I want copies of the legally signed documents the bylaw has to be provided to me and the refund. Unfortunately, it has to go this far to do right by the consumer just to keep money in your pockets as a business and take money from someone who lost everything in a flood. More
Service is less than desirable. On more than one occasion they caused damage to my vehicles interior. They ordered replacement parts, lost them on their premises and they never returned my calls, as they said they would. The last time this happened they blamed me, it cost me $175 to a third party vendor to repair the damage they caused to my seats. I will not go back there. More

Is currently in the repair Bridgewater Chevy and Chevrolet Corporation are in Shambles ! My new Silverado purchase February 2020 purchase : 1. Is currently in the repair shop on this day (for the 4th time). 2. I am without my vehicle on this day (for 42 days ...and counting). 3.The vehicle check engine warning light indicated engine/transmission malfunctions on 15 occasions resulting in the vehicle never operating safely or properly. 4. Brake's not functioning properly. 5. Bridgewater Chevrolet deleted/voided one service document . The service they provided and what they did to my vehicle was deleted/voided resulting in me having no idea what they touched, repaired, or altered. 6. Bridgewater Chevrolet scratched my drivers side door during one of the servicing. 7. Bridgewater Chevrolet service advisor advised me that they did not build my truck there indicating that he has no idea what I have defects and malfunctions that can not be repaired. 8. Requesting to speak with a manager on Bridgewater Chevy property ...I was advised that they either "went home" or "are in a meeting". And only once did a service manager ever reach out to me simply leaving a message advising that he would look into my faulty vehicle situation. 9. I contacted Chevrolet headquarters and was issued a case number . I spoke with "James" from Chevrolet corporate offices after he received my letter indicating that I purchased a "Lemon" from Bridgewater Chevrolet. I confirmed that he read all the data indicated above (and more). Knowing all that I was dealing with he basically advised me that the issues relative to Bridgewater Chevy is not a Chevrolet headquarter matter. He advised that Bridgewater Chevy is a "separate entity" . He advised that they (Bridgewater Chevy) is a business that "sells vehicles". He indicated that Chevrolet headquarters does not have authority over the dealership. (Faults ,wrong doings etc ?- deleted/voided documents etc.) . Even though they are selling the Chevrolet brand? 10. At this time, my vehicle is in the repair shop (7,000 miles). I have been without my NEW vehicle for 42 days and counting. Bridgewater dealership points the finger at the Chevy factory that manufactured my vehicle. Chevrolet Headquarters points the finger at the dealership (separate entity). Chevrolet as a whole is functioning as a messy SHAMBLE. 11. I am willing to share all of my documents with any "News" publication that is willing to cover this Chevrolet issue. It is very telling how the Chevrolet corporation functions. 12. Vehicle is a "LEMON"...Chevrolet can make all proper by taking the vehicle back. 13.UPDATE- Bridgewater Chevy had my truck for another 27 days for a total of 54 days without my New Vehicle. Bridgewater Chevy sanded my rotors, replaced brake pads and replaced defective wiring (on a NEW truck with 7,141 miles )! Dash plate now caved inward on my dashboard. Bridgewater Chevy denies the fault and redirecting the blame back to (GM/ Chevy corporate)? Guess Bridgewater just sells cars (No customer service)? What a mess for a new vehicle purchase. Looking for a headache, a horrible new vehicle purchase or an UNSAFE UNREALIABLE vehicle...You too can buy a Lemon at the Chevy Circus . More

We did all of the negotiating over the internet and held to his price when I arrived at the dealership. A lot of dealerships will not give you their best price on the internet but Lance did. This made the buying process very easy and enjoyable. When I arrived at the dealership the cars and the paperwork were ready. He eliminated all of the negotiating time which could take hours. I was in and out of the dealership in less than two hours. This was the most enjoyable buying experience that I ever had and I have been purchasing vehicles for a long time. I would highly recommend Bridgewater Chevy and Lance Miller. More
