Recently purchased a vehicle from Brewer. Opted for the protection plan, undercoating, rustproof , interior, and exterior paint protection. After I picked up the vehicle I noticed water wasn Opted for the protection plan, undercoating, rustproof , interior, and exterior paint protection. After I picked up the vehicle I noticed water wasn't even beading up on the paint. I returned to the dealer and questioned the service department as to what they did. Undercoating was done, although I did not lift the car to verify how well. Rustproof consisted of spraying something into the door drain holes without removing inner door panels to verify coverage, no other body parts were rustproofed, the hood, trunk,fenders or anything else. When asked about interior protection, I was told the the carpets were sprayed, I told them the carpets are covered with floor mats, they said they sprayed under them. I asked about the seats, dash, and door panels and was told that they don't do them even though the contract says that vinyl, plastic, and leather is supposed to be protected. When asked about paint protection, they said they had a coating they use but couldn't tell me what it was. The whole thing is a rip off. I detail my own vehicles so I know what it should look and feel like. They admitted to not doing what the contract says and think that that is OK. I recently talked to a friend that bought a car there and they did the same thing to him. I expect that when I buy something that I get what I paid for. I was going to purchase an extended warranty from them also, it was a third party company for $1960.00 plus tax. I checked another dealer and bought a Toyota extended warranty for $1824.00 tax included from them. Apples for apples, same coverage. Bottom line, dot your i,I, and cross your tees before dealing with them. More
