Bought a new car here recently, my sales person Lorenzo was the absolute worst. I feel bad making this review because the manager I spoke with (Matt I believe his name was) was a super nice guy. But I've never had a worse experience with a sales person in my life. Exceptionally poor communication skills, often times telling me he'd get get back to me, not do it, and then I would have to reach back out and basically pester him for basic back-and-forth communication. Despite ignoring me many times, spending time with Lorenzo in person is mostly listening to him brag about his plethora of social media accounts that he wants you to follow. Which is just so weird to hear when you've been getting ignored, dodged, misled, and lied to for weeks while waiting for your car to come in. I don't even have social media (the funniest part) but why would I ever follow someone who has blatantly ignored me? Or lied to my face about getting back to me? I'm still not sure if he was intentionally like this during the process because he didn't want to do tiny amounts of work or if his communication skills are actually just this bad but it was unpleasant to work with him to say the least. Also, there wasn't a plate on my car when I did a walk-around of it in the lot upon arrival. Lorenzo took the car to get a plate on it before we left, and now there's marks on my car where it looks like someone was thinking about screwing bottom screws in for my plate, but then decided not to. So there's just body damage there now and I'm going to have to begrudgingly come back to this place some time this weekend and request a fix. Needless to say my experience was pretty bad, I can see why this place is rated much worse than most other Toyota dealers on this site. If you're in the market for a Toyota and reading this, you should probably consider going to a different dealership. More

From start to finish we had a VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE in purchasing our new SUV. We entered this purchase completely undecided on what vehicle we wanted, only that it had to be an SUV with a third row. We p purchasing our new SUV. We entered this purchase completely undecided on what vehicle we wanted, only that it had to be an SUV with a third row. We preferred for it to be either electric or hybrid, but given the limited products in those markets they were not deal breakers. We called around and scheduled test drives in February 2020, with the expectation we would purchase in the summer, knowing most dealerships have at least a 3 month lead time. Our Toyota appointment was with Jared Clemens. He knew we were on a tight schedule and had the vehicle ready. He answered all questions we had. On the test drive he allowed us to take the route we wanted to properly test the vehicle. We appreciated he accepted we were just shopping around and did not apply any pressure. He followed up with a text if there were any questions. From there we handled most discussions via text. We were particular about the color of the interior, but the lot did not have a vehicle with that trim/interior available. Once one came in, he made arrangements for us to see it. About a month later we made another appointment to discuss the financials as that would be the final criteria for us to make a decision. They presented a quote at MSRP, not above MSRP. After a very brief discussion with Jared and then the GM, we agreed on a price. We signed our quote and began the the 3-5 month wait for it to arrive. Jared called us less than 2 months later to inform us the vehicle had already arrived. As we were expecting at least another month, we had not finished our financing. While we didn't take Toyota's financing, both Jared and Zane (finance) made it very easy to complete the process with everything done via phone/email the same day. Via that communication we informed them we were not interested in additional warranties and services. With that, the topic was closed and never brought up again. This truly was a NO PRESSURE SALE from first conversation through pick-up. We also had not yet decided to trade in our then current vehicle. That same day they made set a time for us to bring it in for an appraisal. They appraised it within KBB margin within 20 minutes. David then agreed on a fair price for it. We had the final buyer order a few hours later. The next day we picked up the vehicle with no hassle. In all it took about an hour as they demonstrated the functionality of the vehicle again, ensuring it was all working. The vehicle was to have a tow hitch installed, but it was on back-order. That was the only snag in the process, yet one they immediately made us aware once they knew about it. Our experience with Jared at Brewer Toyota is what car buying in 2022 should be. It was easy process based in transparent conversations without any posturing. Over a 6 week period and 4 visits, including final pick-up, we spend no more than 2.5 hours at the dealership. More
Was not pleased to find they practice price gouging by marking vehicles over MSRP. While failing to disclose this practice or in the price they post on cars.com. This is misleading and wastes my time marking vehicles over MSRP. While failing to disclose this practice or in the price they post on cars.com. This is misleading and wastes my time More
Everything was great until I found a mark on my on my tail light which was blatantly caused by rubbing during shipment. I was basically told I was vandalized and could pay to get it buffed out. Went to Brewer Airport Toyota complaining of whirling/growling noise. Was told noises (plural) were caused by THREE SEPARATE issues, and cost is: Wheel bearing: $707 ($343 parts; $364 labor) Differential: $1,921 ($1,206 parts; $715 labor) Differential coupling: $1,800 ($1,540 parts; $260 labor) I told service that, based on Toyota's own TSB, it only needed a *bearing within the coupling*. Service said they don't sell just the bearing; I have to buy the $1,500+ coupling that contains the bearing! Total: $4,428 Actual repair: Wheel bearing: NOT NEEDED Differential: NOT NEEDED Coupling: NOT NEEDED Actual cost to have local mechanic repair *just the coupling bearing*: $140 ($50 parts; $90 labor). Grand total: ***$140*** That included expedited shipping of the bearing because I needed the car back! Could have been less if I had just gone straight to local mechanic. And most importantly, no more growl! I will not be back for service. More
Watch the service department....Scott failed my inspection, said I needed a ton of parts replaced on the rear brakes, drove the car down the road to the Nissan dealer. Just a set of pads. $100 buc inspection, said I needed a ton of parts replaced on the rear brakes, drove the car down the road to the Nissan dealer. Just a set of pads. $100 bucks and done, not the $900 Scott told us. It’s a shame because the rest of the dealership is top notch, just can’t trust the service department....hurting a good place. Beware! BEWARE! Kenny Ross (now BREWER TOYOTA) just cost my wife and I a half day of work. We scheduled to drop off our vehicle that we leased from them and BEWARE! Kenny Ross (now BREWER TOYOTA) just cost my wife and I a half day of work. We scheduled to drop off our vehicle that we leased from them and look at leasing another vehicle. We gave them about 45 minutes to work up the deal on the new vehicle. After receiving our quote they informed us they could not take our lease return because they were going through a transition. This would have been good information to know when I called and told them I was returning my lease. I even communicated with the salesman a half hour before getting to the dealership. Take your business elsewhere! More
