I purchased my 2008 Nissan Altima from Brenner and try to avoid taking my car there for service period. I would take it there initially for oil changes and inspections but realized I could change my own oil avoid taking my car there for service period. Every time I have even gone there the service hasn't been very good. Maybe it's just me but I don't feel any comfort in the service people or the auto mechanics. Just last week, my car wouldn't start. I just ran into Giant to get a few things, not even 15 minutes later I came out and pressed the brake pad and pushed the "start" button. It would switch to "acc" the music came on but the car wouldn't start up. I tried again and it would try to turn over, but no luck. I called Brenner, and they said maybe my battery was bad. I explained that I just had my battery replaced in September by Brenner. Then they said, it might be the break switch. I had my father in law come to Giant and he jumped start the car on the first try. Break switch? I doubt it. I made an appt just to be on the safe side. When I took the car in, they said it was the break switch, ohh yea; your bill is $150. WHAT!!! I said first of all I bought the extended warranty, secondly, secondly I never gave them permission to put a new switch in. He said, he didn't know I had any warranty, because "they're system is cheap, that's the way the owner set it up” sounds to me the "system is cheap because the owner is cheap." Take it for what its worth. I told them it was funny, how at first it was the battery and then after i told them I just had battery replaced in Sept by them it was the switch. Not only that, it was interesting to me how I could start the car up once I had jumper cables on the first try. After speaking with Nissan Corportate, they contact Brenner and in return Chris, service manager, called me. He was very concerned about my service that I'd received and offererd to make it right. I appreciate his thoughtfulness in trying to make me feel better about the situation. In the end I didn't pay a cent. If I ever decide to take my car back to Brenner I will be sure to contact him first. More
Tom at Brenner Nissan got me in the same day I called with concerns about the driveability of my car after an accident. They handled the communications with the other driver's insurance company. If I have the unfortunate pleasure of ever being in another accident, I'll take pleasure knowing I can take my car right next door to Brenner Nissan. More
We were just browsing for a new vehicle, with no real intent to buy. We looked at several different trucks prior to going to Brenner. Due to my employee discount, and the price that Joe Chow gave us it w intent to buy. We looked at several different trucks prior to going to Brenner. Once at the dealership, we were greated at the door and Justin was very enthusiastic about Brenner and the Frontier we were looking at. After taking for a test drive, we knew we had to have it. The whole staff was friendly and made the process easy! Will definitely consider going back when looking for another vehicle! More

I had found the vehicle I wanted online. I called and talked to Jenna. I drove an hour and 20 minutes to view this vehicle in person. I liked the vehicle so much that I decided to wheel and deal. After being offered a decent price for my trade I decided that I would purchase the vehicle. I was told though that the vehicle would still need to be looked over before I purchase so we would have to come back. I understand that part and want a vehicle that I feel is street legal and complete. Well my wife and two kids come back and was able to take a look at the car that we are about to purchase when I notice that the middle seat belt in the back seat of the Honda is missing completely missing. I also noticed that the spare tire was in fact a full size which isn't what should be in there so the trunk would lay flat. I made both sales associates aware of this issue. The sales manager took the car around to service when he returned he told me that they knew about the seat belt and that I can just take it to a local Honda dealership in order to get the seat belt fixed under warranty. The spare tire although nice to have a full size tire I don't feel to save having a big bulky tire in the trunk flopping around so he told me there I should also be able to find buy a longer one at the Honda dealership and they would just reimburse me. I decided that both of those were okay as long as both would work. I bought the car and the next day I noticed that I had no rear speakers once again completely missing from the car. I called and was told that the sales manager would be able to help me with this. I left him a voice mail that day because he wasn't available. The following day I went to the local Honda dealership about the seat belt and the spare tire. I was told by Honda that the seat belts are only covered if it is a normal wear that is the reason for replacement but my seat belt was cut out and removed that is not a warranty repair. The tire because it isn't the normal one doesn't fit the trunk right so it cannot be locked down by anything. I called the sales manager again that day and left another voice mail letting him know that I have some new things to discuss with him. I figured that the next day I would email to let him know that I am having the feeling that I have been screwed over. I didn't see an email back from him so later that same day I tried again and surprise surprise not available let me send you in to voice mail. I also received my loan paper work from my bank the other day and found out that I payed $655 more for my used car than what the car is worth. So to sum it up please before you buy a car look it over completely try everything out and I mean everything. Don't settle for anything and if something is to get repaired after you sign make sure you have it in writing. More
The extra length that Tom went and effort put into making it easier on me by communicting directly to the entity where the damage occured to my car and working directly with the insurance company. This is my second visit and would definitely recommend anyone to Brenner Nissan for any body repair whether insurance paid or self paid. More

Tom Toolan was very helpful in handling the body work after accident. He gave me two quotes - one for repair and one for replace. Worked with me to have the work done while I was out of town and car wa after accident. He gave me two quotes - one for repair and one for replace. I was recently backed into by another car and had a couple thousand dollars in damages. I have heard great things about the Brenner Nissan body shop from my father, so it was an easy decision where to couple thousand dollars in damages. Brenner contacted the insurance company directly, which was a huge help for me. They said my car would take about 5 days to repair. The crew worked very efficiently, and i had it back in 4 days. Tom Toolan was not only friendly, but he was also great in the entire process, he would give me a call almost every day to let me know what all was done to my car that day. He also did a very good job of explaining all of the parts that were being replaced and what their purpose was. I give the Brenner Nissan Body Shop a 10 out of 10. If i am ever in an accident again, i won't think twice about taking my car back to Brenner. I appreciate the service, and i would definitely recommend anyone to get their vehicle work done at Brenner Nissan. More
