Service Department is Not Responsive I was about to consider buying a new 4 runner Bredemann. I bought my last one from them. But, I will not buy a new car or use them for service aga I was about to consider buying a new 4 runner Bredemann. I bought my last one from them. But, I will not buy a new car or use them for service again after my last try. I needed an oil change and to have the airbag replaced as part of a recall. After giving them my name and after they looked up my truck, I asked them for a quote for an oil change. They told me $39.95. Then when I got there, they said that prior quote was a mistake and it would cost me $56 because it was a truck that took more oil. When I asked for the quote, they were looking right at my truck record as I had given them my name so they knew it was a truck and refused to honor the quote over the phone. I still needed the airbag fixed as it was not safe and my daughter drives the car. I asked how long it would take. They said about two hours. I left the car and called just before two hours and they said it would be another 30-45 minutes so I went there. When I got there, they had not even started on it and they told me it would take 5 more hours. Tried to complaint to a manger. He had gone home for the day at 4:45 p.m.. My service rep was gone too. Next came the financing (I believe I dealt with Jack Prato) --- but wait it was easy and simple (and fast). My only regret is waiting 3 years to do this. Thanks guys ! Wonderful experience – spoke in advance of my visit to the dealership to Dave Lurie, who provided price information on 2018 RAV4s. From the time I walked into the Bredemann dealership, I was treated with courtesy and respect. Was not pushed into buying more vehicle than I wanted and could afford, and did not feel rushed to make a decision despite the fact that the dealership was busy with many other customers. All of my questions were answered, and I felt that Dave was working in my best interest – making sure I knew all of the key features of the 2 models of RAV4s that I was reviewing (LE and XLE), price differences, color availability. Got a fair price for my trade-in, plus Customer Cash. This is a great time to buy a 2018 vehicle, as it’s the model year end. Everybody on the sales floor at Bredemann was friendly and helpful, and I actually enjoyed my time at this dealership. Not the usual ‘swimming with the sharks’ feeling that you get at many other dealerships. Dave worked to ensure that I got the vehicle I wanted for a very fair price, and Tran Nguyen (Business Manager) walked me through all of the financial details in a thorough and helpful manner. This was a large purchase for me and the first time I’ve purchased a car on my own. Bredemann Toyota exceeded my expectations of how I would be treated at a car dealer.
