I visited the dealership to check on a used Ford Ranger pickup for my son. The trip over took just over 2.25 hours. I found the truck to be in good shape and felt it would work for us, despite the fact the pickup for my son. The trip over took just over 2.25 hours. I found the truck to be in good shape and felt it would work for us, despite the fact they would not stand behind it after the sale. They accepted the offer I made and before leaving gave them a $1100 deposit. I called the next morning and asked my sales rep if it would be possible to pick up the car today after 2:00PM. He said no problem, and that he would have the truck washed and the paperwork ready to go. Once we paid for the car they would put the paper plate on and we'd be home in no time. My son and I arrived at 2 and our sales rep said he was with another customer, but he would make sure the paperwork was complete and get us right out for the long ride home. After putting the customer he was dealing with in a car to test drive, he disappeared. I went looking for him and after a short time found him with a new customer that just drove into the lot. He again said that they were finishing up the paperwork and he would be right with me. By now we were there for over an hour. This was a cash sale, so I expected, as we had an appointment, I'd be out of there in 20 minutes. The next thing I know I see the salesman driving out of the lot. He again returned and again said he would be right with us. Another 1/2 hour went by and he called us to his desk. Finally, I felt we would be on our way. No such luck. He said there was a problem with the paperwork. But they'll get it fixed in no time. We sat for another 1/2 hour and he again came to us and told us that they don't have a title for the car so they couldn't sell it to us. He asked if he put a dealer plate on it and let us take it home and then send them the plate once they received title on the car. I said that would be acceptable. He left and came back and told me he cant do that. They wanted to give me a loaner car that once the title appeared I could return and then try and buy the car. I told him we are not making that trip again. The salesman said he was trying to get the GM to come up with a solution. This went on for another 1/2 hour. The salesman again asked about us using a dealer plate 2x more and I'd say yes and then he would come back and say that they can't do it. (?) He tried to explain that it sometimes take 7-10 days for the dealership to receive title on cars, but this truck had been on their web page for two weeks. After being there for several hours now with no end in sight, I had had enough. I walked over to the GM's office and told the salesman I wanted my money back and that we were leaving. The salesmen once more said "What if we put a dealer plate on the truck?" The GM said "just give him his money back, someone else will buy the truck". They had the nerve to be upset with me, when they were the ones who screwed up! I had to wait another 1/2 hour before they came up with my cash, but told me they would have to send me a check for my deposit from the day before as it hadn't cleared yet. At no time did they offer to compensate me for my time and expense to drive 5 hours for nothing. I have nothing good to say about the dealership and have no intentions of ever returning. This has got to be a freak experience, but I never received an apology, and they in turn will never earn my business. More

Mike, who is one of their sales people who handles internet marketing, was terrific and gave me a very aggressive quote on the model I was interested in. Many dealers won't do that by phone because they know you may take that quote to other dealers without ever setting foot on their lot. I appreciated their honest approach and visited Brattleboro Subaru the next day. While there, I worked with Mike and with Paul Sucharzewski. They were terrific!! Very friendly, with no high pressure tactics. They were eager to answer all my questions and didn't hesitate to ask questions of me to ensure the Impreza Sport that I was considering was a good fit for what I needed. This may sound overly enthusiastic, but I really had the sense that customer service is the number one priority at Brattleboro Subaru. I think they would be willing to lose a sale if they thought a customer was not making the right purchase. Great dealership and great staff!! More
Mike Masters was my 1st contact for getting a car, i told him what i want and what i would pay for monthly payment and the interest and he make it happen, pick out the car and i travel 2 hour to come and pic him what i want and what i would pay for monthly payment and the interest and he make it happen, pick out the car and i travel 2 hour to come and pickup it was painless and take a new car for a back road drive home. I started on the internet with Matt to schedule a test drive and he was very helpful and accommodating with se looking into purchasing a new vehicle. When I went in to meet Matt and drive the cars, everything was ready for me as I arrived. He was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles and took my job and situation into consideration while helping me. We worked together over the next few weeks and I found myself the proud owner of a new vehicle. Matt was very prompt in communicating with me and did an outstanding job to ensure that my experience with the dealership was as smooth and as rewarding as possible. More

I had just recently totaled my car and was having a difficult time deciding what kind of car I wanted. I knew I wanted a safe car so Subaru was the perfect fit. As a teacher, I was able to look for deals and dealerships that would work with me to find the best possible deal. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) for me there were no Subaru dealers within 150 miles of my location. I was bummed. Knowing full well what kind of deals Subaru was able to offer me, I went to a more local (56 miles away) Subaru dealer. There I found a stereotypical car dealer that was trying to sell me a car that was way outside my budget and loaded with options I didn't need or want. The dealer was unwilling to negotiate price at all, staying true to the sticker. I was disheartened. I went home and went online to check my email and found Mike Masters and Amy Ciccone of Brattleboro Subaru had sent me an email. It was so kind. They offered to work with me to get the car I wanted. The only problem was that the dealership was nearly 4 hours from my location. Mike and Amy told me that wasn't actually a problem. They would be able to set it up so that the car I wanted could be delivered right to me! After finding the car I wanted, Matt Hale and Niz jumped in. The four of them helped secure the car I wanted, provided me with the very top of customer service, and delivered my car to me! All that and they actually BEAT the deal I qualified for! Brattleboro Subaru and the employees I was blessed to run into in this situation are so very wonderful. i am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such wonderful people to secure my awesome new car. I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone that asks (and likely some that don't ask as well) More
