Giving 1 star because I cannot give ZERO stars. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I took my car there for a new battery on a Saturday and didn't get it back until Wednesday. I called over 30 times for a status upd DO NOT RECOMMEND. I took my car there for a new battery on a Saturday and didn't get it back until Wednesday. I called over 30 times for a status update and got a recording every single time. The service department refuses to admit to and take responsibility for damages incurred while servicing. I left my car there to get a new battery and received it with all four speakers blown. The technician (Josh) admitted to me that he heard a loud BOOM when he connected the battery to charge (a clear indicator that the cables were attached incorrectly) yet the service leader (Brian G.) refuses to take responsibility and cover the repair at no charge. Brian admitted that Josh is new and has only been with the dealership for three weeks and has already caused damaged to another car he serviced recently, making excuses as to why the damage to my speakers was not noted in the service notes. As advised by the Hyundai Corporate office, I returned to Brandon Hyundai to file a formal complaint against the service department for compensation of damages, and the service lane leader (Michael C.) was condescending and disrespectful from initial conversation. With his arms crossed and a scowling facial expression the whole time, he asked things like "What do you mean, corporate? What corporate?" and "so what do you want me to do?" He was in no way interested to hear about the complaint nor did he want to rectify the situation. Nothing was notated or recorded in any way because he said "We don't do that here, we don't take complaints." Aside from my personal experience and situation, other employees in the service area were walking about having personal conversations very loudly that were inappropriate for the workplace. One service advisor was sitting talking to another dissatisfied customer with his mouth full while scarfing down a messy sandwich. Is there no employee break room on the premises? In closing, again, I DO NOT recommend using this dealership for anything. To sum it up in one word: GHETTO. More
