Brandon Honda - Service Center

I've lived in Brandon for almost 9 years. When I first got here, I shopped around for good auto service but was never happy with it at the various shops I tried. Never a fan of dealer service or chains, got here, I shopped around for good auto service but was never happy with it at the various shops I tried. Never a fan of dealer service or chains, I restricted my search to locally owned onesie shops. I finally found one that took care of my car for years and gave good value for the money. That shop became the standard for me. However, shortly after I bought a used Honda from a private party, my auto shop stopped servicing anything but European cars. I had to find another place. I don't recall how I ended up at Brandon Honda given my dislike of dealer service, but I met J.R. on my first visit. I like him because he's never pushy about service and he always makes me feel like I'm one of his top priorities. He even worked with the dealership and Honda corporate to resolve a warranty issue that saved us quite a bit. These are the reasons I've worked exclusively with him over the last 7 years when it comes to service. Hope you can hang onto him. If he leaves, I'll be searching again. More

I have been working with JR Disbrow (service advisor extraordinaire)since the purchase of my barely used 2000 Honda Odyssey van in 2009. I had spoken with JR prior to the purchase of my van - not even a customer yet - and he helped answer my questions and concerns. He is always gracious with his time and truly cares / wants to make your experience at their dealership pleasant and resolve your vehicle's concerns. Brandon Honda itself I prefer over the other local Honda dealerships as well. My most unfavorable experience was at a Tampa Honda dealership who function on the hard sell / guilt / make a decision in the moment tactic. I left and took my business elsewhere. In a pinch as they are much closer to home, I used the service dept at this same Tampa dealership and they were very dishonest with me and my vehicle stating that I needed a $400 part which I in fact did not when examined by the mechanics at Brandon Honda. This furthered my disappointment and increased my confidence level with the staff at Brandon Honda. The other dealership is minutes down the road from my home. I drive 30+ minutes to get to Brandon Honda but it is so worth the drive. The staff at Brandon Honda, especially JR Disbrow, are always friendly, knowledgeable and honest. What better place for a Honda than those who know the vehicles best(: More

I use JR exclusively for my Honda. He has excellent customer service and always takes good care of my car and always has good information when I am ready to buy a Honda. JR has been my service guy for 12 years and he is the only reason I continue to come to Brandon Honda. He is friendly and professional. I would like to acknowledge the service adviser JR Disbrow for being the best at what he does. His knowledge of my vehicle is outstanding. His professionalism is incredible. I am surprised that Brandon Honda has not made him a manager by now. I tell everyone on FB that if they need their vehicle fixed, rather it be a Honda or not, to go see JR Disbrow. All my friends who have Hondas go only to JR Disbrow for the same reason.
