Gordon Newsome absolutely achieved that with us today. We spoke on the phone last week and I liked his manner. When I called him today to see if we could meet this morning, he immediately said yes, even though his start time was scheduled to be 1 pm. That courtesy did not go unnoticed. He greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable and at ease. We liked his "cards on the table" approach and ultimately that approach resulted in a sale. I can't thank Gordon enough for helping us make that happen. After we arrived home I heard a voicemail from him and called him back with trepidation thinking something had gone wrong. It was only a follow-up call because he wasn't able to say goodbye to us when we left the dealership. That was a welcome surprise. As i mentioned to him in conversation, I'm a recently retired HR Director for a prestigious NYC law firm, so I know all about motivating and training employees to show professionalism at all times and to represent their employer in the absolute best way possible. In my professional opinion, Gordon achieved that today and he is exactly the type of employee I would want on my team. I look forward to speaking with him again when the car arrives.
