I received notice that my vehicle was due to have brake pads replaced. With approx 22k miles it seems a bit soon for that but who am I to question the judgment of the exceptional minds at BMW? I used the idrive function to contact Braman's service department and scheduled an appointment for 7:30AM Wednesday, Jan 12, 2022. When I arrived for my appointment I was very disappointed to hear that I was not on the list. There was no apology, no attempt to accommodate. I was simply advised that unscheduled service was available for emergencies only and that I would need to schedule an appointment (something I had obviously already done hence being present at the service counter at 7:30AM on an otherwise pleasant day in paradise). I declined rescheduling immediately to have time to review my calendar and make arrangements to squeeze in another visit without disruption to too many other obligations. The following day I repeated the same process as before using idrive to contact the dealership during my commute. I was informed that the next available appointment wasn't until Tuesday Jan 18th which again I booked for 7:30am. This time I paid closer attention and noted that a text message would be sent to confirm my appointment. Great! Since I didn't receive a text after the first call maybe something was missed and my initial experience with Braman was a one off. Several hours later I realize I hadn't received a text confirmation for this appointment either! A friend suggested that I confirm or book my appointment using the My BMW app which I did. Same appointment details were entered and within minutes I received the elusive text confirmation! Several days later I receive a call stating that my Jan 18th appointment was scheduled with a managers and not a service advisor and they would not be able to see me for service until the following day at 7:30. I recapped for the caller all of the above which didn't seem to be of any concern. Then I asked about the appointment that I'd called in for the same day and time which theoretically should still be on the calendar to which she responded that there was an appointment showing for 5pm! If you've been paying attention up to this point you'll recall that ALL appointments have been scheduled for 7:30AM but that's obviously a minor detail. Multiple sighs and "what abouts" later I'm resigned to Wednesday Jan 19th at 7:30AM. Checking my vehicle in went fairly smoothly and the service advisor was friendly and personable. I was informed that there weren't any loaner cars available but luckily there are rentals on site! Mmmkay...I'm provided a bright red Dodge Charger to scoot around in while my vehicle is serviced. After 2 days I'm quite over the Charger experience and on Jan 20th contacted Braman to request a BMW loaner. At this point I was informed that there are mileage restrictions associated with the BMW loaners but rentals from Enterprise came with unlimited miles. I responded that I appreciated the advice but I work about 5 miles from home wasn't planning any road trips in the immediate future so would like the BMW. The woman was very friendly and said that someone would give me a call to make arrangements. On Jan 22nd I sent a text message to the number provided by my service advisor to have someone contact me about 2 issues. The first was regarding the lack of follow-up from my call requesting that the loaner be replaced. The 2nd was regarding the fact that at least according to the My BMW app nothing at all had been done to my vehicle since roughly the time that it was left with Braman! To be specific it shows "LOCKED: Updated from vehicle 1/19/2022 08:38 AM". 3 days ago! INCREDIBLE! In short my experience with Braman BMW and Rolls Royce has been unquestionably the worst experience I've ever received from any automotive service department. In fact, it ranks amoung the worst service experiences I've had of any sort. It is now 3:46PM Sunday Jan 23, 2022 and I am still waiting for a response. More
The Service Department of Braman BMW of West Palm Beach is excellent. It is well run and efficient. The staff is polite and friendly and helpful. Not satisfied with the service. Ladies at front desk did not communicate well. Wait times are super long. There is not anyone who seems to understand the flow. They told me it would take 3 days for an oil not communicate well. Wait times are super long. There is not anyone who seems to understand the flow. Poor customer service and repairs. I brought my vehicle to Braman Service reference engine warning light on March 16, 2020. I checked error codes (DTC) that were showing on my car and b I brought my vehicle to Braman Service reference engine warning light on March 16, 2020. I checked error codes (DTC) that were showing on my car and brought that information in with me. I presented paper with that information to service adviser who picked up the paper by the corner and tossed it back across the desk to me saying he did not need to see my information. He was talking down to me and being rude. I picked up my car the next day to discover car had same problem it was brought in for. I called dealership and made appointment asking for another service adviser. I met with the new service adviser and started to give him my paper with information. He held up his hand and said he did not need to see it. He acted upset and even hostile towards me. After waiting for a while the service adviser came to me and said that on my previous visit they identified the problem but did not replace the broken part to fix it. I asked why and the adviser said he did not know why, still acting angry towards me. Maybe Braman employees should accept what ever help they are offered. Will not return to this dealership. More
I purchased my Certified BMW 430I on January 26, 2020 and two weeks later I received an email from Kenisha Chastine stating a signal was received from my car indicating it is due for service. I contacted her and set up an appointment for February the 14, 2020 at 9:30am. I arrived at 9:01am prior to my appointment and instead of being scheduled with my original servicing agent, I was instead scheduled with Sebastian. I waited until the person at the front desk came to get me at 9:21am and she escorted me to Sebastian’s desk. He said good morning however prior to this I noticed he was walking around and talking to his co-workers the full time I was waiting. After reviewing the information from my car, he stated my car wasn’t under the care warranty anymore and I was in shock as I just purchased the car approximately two weeks ago and I had only driven the car less than 80 miles. I would expect this should have been completed prior to the sale as it was purchased as a Certified vehicle. He told me to talk to the salesman and a friend who came with me went to the sales side to speak with the salesman. In the meantime, Sebastian called the salesman and I told him he had already requested I go speak with the salesman and my friend was already talking with him and on his way to the service center. After the salesman had a discussion with the sales manager they agreed to complete the oil change and replace the windshield wiper blades free of charge. This was deeply appreciated however I believe it was very disrespectful Sebastian asked for me to go see the salesman and when my friend left to go find the salesman, Sebastian made customer calls and ignored me the whole time it took for the sales manager to make a decision which was about 35 minutes. After the decision was made for the sales department to take care of what should have been done before, Sebastian stated ok and wanted to know if I was leaving the car or waiting. I stated I would leave the car and he kept the key and stated he would call once it was ready. Around 2pm I never heard from him and thought it was strange as normally I received a call from a servicing agent within just a few hours for an oil change. I went to the dealer and ask the front desk about the status of my vehicle and found out my car had been ready for a while. Sebastian never called me to let me know my vehicle was ready and even when I went to pick-up my car he didn’t even get up from his desk to say anything to me. I have never been treated as bad as I had been treated by this servicing agent. I am also really concerned as I am unsure if my car was really Certified when purchased since the oil change should have been completed before the car was sold and the windshield wipers replaced since they were so bad. I am terribly disappointed in the service I received and will not be able to recommend Braman BMW service department to anyone. More
