This place is unbelievable. While Maroone can have my truck back in hours, Braman will keep my wife's BMW for weeks! I bought the X3 new for her years ago and it has been a battle ever since. I took it for service and when they called me to pick it up it took them an hour to let me know it wasn't ready. Then when they finally called to say that it's ready it took them another hour to tell me that they'd lost the keys! I also get the feeling they're corrupt beyond measure. My wife bought the extended warranty and they're always doing inexplicable things to the car on the warranty money. The extended warranty now is inexplicably prorated. They also said that the extended warranty adjuster suggested additional work... really? Bramans service department says that there is an oil leak but there is no oil on my garage floor. They keep changing the AC compressor but it hasn't failed on us. These guys are doing no favors to BMW. Stay the hell away from them! There is something seriously wrong with this place. More

My boyfriend had his car serviced at Braman BMW this past Friday, picked up the car the same day, $900 later, he came home and told me about how incredibly rude the people at the dealership were. They had called him to come and pick up the car, then when he arrived it was not ready. He noted that everyone at the dealership has a rude attitude. This morning (Saturday, he just picked up the car yesterday) we went out for a nice brunch. I put my pretty white slacks on and off we went (I sat in the passenger seat). I got out of the car and ALL OVER the seat of my pants was BLACK DISGUSTING GREASE. Quite agitated, I took a photo of the embarrassing stains, and called the dealership to let them know. "Sharon" picked up the phone, in broken english, and as I finished (very calmly) explaining the story she said to , "And what do you want me to do about that?" Appalled I said well "May I speak with a manager to explain to them what happened?" She responded, "What manager?" ...... I left a voicemail for JC Gonzales the service manager, who I am sure will never return my phone call..... How sad. This is not what my boyfriend or I expect from BMW. Have they not heard of putting the paper lining down so that the car seats do not get greasy? Is that not Car Dealership 101? So disappointed, and my beautiful white slacks will pay the ultimate price.... Save yourself the effort ..... drive somewhere else..... this dealership will only disappoint you.... Such embarrassing service / management for BWM. They should be ashamed. More

I made an appointment to have my BMW serviced on Tuesday morning. I was advised they would provide me a ride home since the diagnosis would take a while.... They had me waiting around like an idiot for someone to feel like giving me a ride home as promised. They also neglected to mention that by "take a while" they meant SEVERAL DAYS! In fact, my car was not even moved until very late on Wed afternoon after I called about 20 times to no avail. I question whether the guy even told me the truth because for all I know he lied to me about the status of my car! The guy assigned to "help" me Johnny Mejias, was outrageously inconsiderate, disrespectful and clearly could not care less that I have no alternate source of transportation while they hold my car hostage.... in fact, as I write this, I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CAR!!!! I DONT EVEN HAVE A DIAGNOSES OR A STATUS UPDATE!!! This is extreme and outrageous, and I certainly would not advise any PAYING CUSTOMER to subject themselves to such consumer indignity. After this, I'm writing to the MIAMI HERALD, that is just how terrible of an experience this has been. Don’t waste your time or energy brining your car to this place-- they are a bunch of incompetents who instead of truthfully telling you that your appointment time is just a farce, prefer to park everyones car indefinitely until they feel like popping the hood. Everyone knows Braman is the worst dealership in South Florida. I've brought my car in multiple times for the same issue and after FOUR, yes four, times, it was finally corrected. Took my Mini Cooper there because it was stopping without any reason, and panel indicated service required. Initially i was told the most likely the on-board computer would need to be reprogrammed, which wa any reason, and panel indicated service required. Then the issue became the the Harmonic balancer, which would cost $960 to replace ($533 parts + $430 labor), plus the thermostat for another $450. Called at 2 om and left a message on the rep's voice mail authorizing only the balancer to be replaced. Called back at 4pm to ask when the car would be ready and for my surprise I was told the car was ready already! Talk about an expensive labor!!!! My impression is that they did not replace anything! Got the car, paid the bill (feeling robbed) and the next morning, when I looked for my CD cas it was GONE! That is right, Braman Mini had my CD case stolen.... Obviously, their fine print reads "We assume no responsibility for lost or missing items". No surprise there... Don't even think about taking your car to Braman...You will certainly be robbed on the bill, and might have items "missing" from your car.... More
I just moved here from Seattle, WA and needed to have my 50,000 mile check on my X3. Not knowing where to go I choose Braman BMW. With my appt being a week a way. I mentioned that I was going here to my colleagues at the hospital and they said don't go there the service is bad. I had already made the appointment so decided to keep it. My appointment was at 8 am and without getting into a long story - Braman BMW has some of the worst customer service with terrible communication to it's customers. Half the staff are rude and the other are running their butts off. They herd you through the service department and when your car is done they just hand you your key. I had to ask where my car was!! Seattle BMW dealerships treat you like all customers should be treated, amazingly!! Braman BMW could use some lessons!! More
My service experience with Braman has been awful. As a owner of a Lexus, the service and quality is 10 times better at Lexus. Avoid BMW and avoid Braman. I've had a lot of problems with Braman, but they were all minor. the main issues I had were with the car rental office they had in the service department. Unlike the Braman Service specialists, the guys at the car rental office are extremely rude and unprofessional, I even tried to speak to their manager once and it took him more than 30 min. to come see me, and when he did, he barely spoke to me and left. Ivan at the service department is a great service specialist. he answers all your questions ans addresses all the issues that you have immediately. I recommend that you go to him when you service your BMW at Braman. More
i BROUGHT MY MINI COOPER 10/2008 COMPLAINING OF BREAKS SQUEEKING TO BISCAYNE BRAMAN...ALSO I PURCHASED AND ADDITIONAL WARRANTY AT TIME OF PURCHASE IN BRAMAN OF WEST PALM FOR REGULAR SERVICE ON VEHICLE IN SQUEEKING TO BISCAYNE BRAMAN...ALSO I PURCHASED AND ADDITIONAL WARRANTY AT TIME OF PURCHASE IN BRAMAN OF WEST PALM FOR REGULAR SERVICE ON VEHICLE IN WHICH ALL WERE DONE IN BRAMAN CORAL WAY MIAMI.wHEN IN OCTOBER BRAKES WERE SQUEEKING BRAMAN IN CORAL WAY SUGGESTED FROM FRONT PADS TO BE REPLACED(i HAVE PAREWORK THAT STATES THEIR FINDINGS. SO i CALLED IDA IN SERVICE AT BRAMAN IN BISCAYNE BLVD AND WAS TOLD IT WAS UNDER THE 36000.MILES WARRANTY. I PROCEEDED TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN. SINCE I ALWAYS DEALT WITH IDA OVEDO SERVICE WHEN SHE CALLED AND TOLD ME THE CAR WAS READY AFTER THEY KEPT 2 DAYS...WHEN I PICKED UP VEHICLE AND TO MY OWN FAULT DID NOT READ THE SERVICE PAPERS AND TRUSTED THE PADS WERE REPLACED. WELL THIS WEEKEND I TOOK A 500 MILES TRIP AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE ON PERMANTLY...ON MY WAY BACK I WENT TO DEALER EXPLAINED AND WAS TOLD BY SERVICE THAT THE FRONT PADS HAD TO BE REPLACED.I WENT BACK AND FOR WITH SERVICE AND THEY COCLUDED THAT THE WARRANTY IS OVER SINCE VEHICLE HAS 41000MI. mY ARGUMENT IS WHY DID THEY NOT REPLACE IT IN OCT2008 WHEN I COMPLAINED AND WHEN MECHANICS IN BRAMAN ON CORAL WAY SUGGESTED FOR THEM TO BE REPLACED..I WAS TOLD BY BRAMAN IN BISCAYNE THAT YOUR OWN EMPLOYEES FROM BRAMAN IN CORAL WAY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING...WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS? i AM STUCK IN MIDDLE...AND i UNDERSTAND IF I HAD NOT COMPLAINED ABOUT THE BRAKES BEFORE...BUT IT IS DOCUMENTED THAT I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN AND ACCORDING TO THEM THEY ONLY FLUSHED THEM.
