Greg, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. However, we would like to address some inaccuracies in your review. Firstly, our records indicate that you never visited our dealership in person. You also provided a wrong phone number in your inquiry. Instead, you contacted us via email and requested a set trade-in appraisal offer without physically bringing your vehicle for evaluation. You asked us to match an offer from another dealer without providing any concrete details about the vehicle's condition based on an inspection from the other dealerships or any written proof of what was offered from both of other dealerships you mentioned after they had inspected the vehicle. We explained that offering a fair trade-in value requires a thorough assessment, and without inspecting the vehicle, we couldn't match an offer blindly. The other dealerships that you mentioned are also in different states/areas, and your particular trade in may be more in demand there or a higher value there so those dealers may be willing to offer more. From the information that we had, we wouldn’t be able to offer you the $42k that you were wanting. Additionally, the vehicles you were interested in here, the new 2022 RAM 2500 models, did not have any manufacturer rebates. We did, however, provide significant discounts of $11,700 and $13,000 off the MSRP on the respective vehicles. It's important to note that the vehicles you mentioned from other dealerships were 2023 models, benefiting from large end-of-year rebates, which is a significant factor in the price difference. We are committed to fair and transparent dealings, but taking additional thousands off the price was not feasible, given the circumstances. Regarding your claim of dishonesty, we assure you that we strive for transparency in all our transactions. If there was any misunderstanding, we genuinely apologize. It's our policy to provide honest and upfront information to our customers. We're sorry that we couldn’t make you happy. Thank you for considering Brad Deery Motors, and we wish you the best in your vehicle search. Sincerely, Brad Deery Motors

I say look at the better business of your dealership. I wouldn’t want to look bad on their reviews . But you guys it don’t seem to bother . And I did send you a picture of what Laura offered me . Also sent Kelly blue book showing between $38000 and $41780 . But you had no problem offering $37000. And like I said you sent comparable trucks but most of them had way more than 21000 miles on them . Sure the trucks with 40 to 50 thousand miles are $42000. But some of the ones with like miles to mine were $47000 up to $50000 . How much do you really want to make on a used car . Never mind I know you want as much as possible . Who cares about the hard working public ? That’s why they call them stealerships ! You bring up 2023 trucks having better rebates . Even though I was looking at 2022 that’s been on your lot for over 300 days . And maybe you own the trucks outright instead of paying interest on them . But as you’ll notice other dealers around the country are taking notice it’s time to cut bait on certain vehicles . The wagoner at island motors with $38000 off for example . 35 % off in other words . Also they have some other vehicles with good discounts . Oh well call it however you want . I have all the emails if you’d like to see them . And no I won’t ever give you my main number . Don’t know why you try to make someone put down a phone number . I choose to keep my phone free of dealers trying to pressure me .

Katey, We want to address this to the best of our ability. Firstly, we genuinely empathize with the challenges you faced with your vehicle, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this process. It is important to note that, as a dealership, we don't manufacture the vehicles we sell. However, we do take responsibility for ensuring our customers' satisfaction to the best extent possible. In your case, when it became evident that there were significant issues with your vehicle, we went above and beyond to advocate for you in securing a buyback from Stellantis. We understand the challenges you faced, and we did our best to facilitate a resolution. We provided you with a loaner vehicle at no cost to you during this period, even though we could have charged for that service or simply not given you one at all. Regarding the interest reimbursement, we acknowledge the agreement made with our Service Manager, Tim. We fulfilled our commitment by offering to pay $537.86 for the interest up until the point of your conversation when this was discussed on October 12th, even though we were not obligated to do so. Stellantis refused to reimburse you for any interest at all and told you it was your responsibility, so you came after us. We genuinely value our customers, and we regret the frustration that you faced with Stellantis. If we didn’t care, we would not have given you a loaner for months at no cost to you, we would not have spent hours on the phone and writing letters & emails reaching out to everyone we could to try to help you get the vehicle repurchased by Stellantis, and we would not have offered to pay anything towards your interest. None of that was our responsibility, but to maintain a high level of customer service we did it. However, it is essential to address when you were here today, after the Stellantis Representative left you went to Tim to demand $1,100, which is not what we discussed and agreed upon. It is disheartening to learn about the recent development of you demanding a higher amount, resorting to offensive language, and asking others to write negative reviews, which we view as an attempt to blackmail and defame us. Our intention has always been to assist you and find a fair resolution. Sincerely, Brad Deery Motors

KateS responded

What’s disheartening are the lies that you keep spewing. There was never an agreement on the interest I incurred over the 4 and a half months that I was paying on a vehicle that never made it home with me. At the time of my conversation with Tim on October 12th, he had not even gotten the approval from Mr. Deery to reimburse me. I did not hear back from Tim until November 30th when I asked if Deery was going to reimburse me. His reply was “yes, we will be reimbursing you.” No time frame or dollar amount was discussed let alone agreed to by me. But he did agree how bad Deery dropped the ball on this and left me hanging for months. When I showed him the total (which you have incorrect, by the way) he offered me 1/2. This is not something covered by law in Iowa with a vehicle repurchase so the manufacturer did not refuse, it was not an option. This leaves me to hold the dealership…the same dealership that serviced this vehicle twice March 17th and July 5th before my purchase on July 22nd because issues the vehicles was having. I have all of the service records. I was sold a vehicle that knowingly had issues and a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty from Brad Deery Motors and the remainder of the factory warranty. I did not buy a vehicle as is. I have every text and call (or lack there of) with your dealership confirming all of this while exposing all of the deception from Brad Deery Motors. And you said I was blackmailing you…Tim was the one that said he would cover the interest for the removal of my review. I was going to let this go for the interest but now I will be doing whatever I have to to make sure this doesn’t happen to someone else. And you are very correct that I said this was xxxxx bull crap as I was exiting your dealership yesterday, after Tim told me he was going back on his word. But keep telling people you took care of me from a customer service standpoint because you gave me a loaner from July22-September 19th (leaving me for 2 1/2 months while you had my money and the vehicle) because nobody was able to give me a ride home after I had to return the vehicle to your dealership the day of purchase.
