Initially satisfied, after purchase not so much I was referred to the dealership and salesman by a friend. I made the trip from Cedar Rapids with my family. When I arrived the salesman I worked wit I was referred to the dealership and salesman by a friend. I made the trip from Cedar Rapids with my family. When I arrived the salesman I worked with was friendly and courteous. I test drove several vehicles. We had been there for several hours already, and when it came time to talk "turkey" I was told that I would be better off trying to sell my trade in to a private party, they were not interested in my trade. Not a huge deal, it was a 2004 with 110k miles. I made sure the salesman knew my budget and what I was looking for in payments. I attempted to get him to go down in price so it would meet my budget a little better and he wouldn't budge saying the prices were already discounted, I ended up having to pay sticker price. He then upsold me on some weather tech floormats that i didn't realize at the time were costing me $300+. And also sold me on some extra upholstry/paint protection coverage for a few hundred more. When it was time to talk to the finance guy he duped me into purchasing an extended warranty for another $2500 or so that would be added to my loan, stating that the ectra coverage was important as the vehicle i was purchasing had a lot of electronic parts that could go out and there would be no warranty since it's a 2015. I asked if I could think about it and of course that was a no because I would have needed to add it to the loan. I found out later, I could have purchased a better warranty for much less through the manufacturer. He too, knew my budget and pushed me into this even though it pushed my payments out of my comfort zone. After my purchase, I had several questions and reached out to the salesman who helped me. One of my issues was regarding a small hole in the upholstry I found the morning after purchase. It had been there prior to my purchase as it was from a cigarette and I do not smoke. After multiple emails I was told it would be covered and he would figure out how to get it taken care of. I also requested a manual, which I still haven't received. Many of my attempts at contact have been ignored. I normally do not give negative reviews but as a first time buyer I feel I was taken advantage of (possibly for being a woman) and then ignored after I had made my purchase when I had questions/concerns/issues. I understand I didn't buy a brand new vehicle but I did spend around $22,000. I am very disappointed with my experience and just pray I didn't purchase a lemon and hope that the fact that it was certified actually means something. More

Fabulous experience I went to look at a Chevy Equinox and after test driving it I wanted to test drive something else to compare it with. Ended up getting a 2016 Cadilla I went to look at a Chevy Equinox and after test driving it I wanted to test drive something else to compare it with. Ended up getting a 2016 Cadillac SRX. LOVE IT!!!! AMAZING I had an amazing experience. I had a few hiccups with finance but not thru Deery. It was my own finance company. They trusted me, let me take the car I had an amazing experience. I never dealt with Brad Deery before, but I promise I will only deal with them in the future. John Beckett was my salesman and he was very down to earth, approachable, and negotiated a deal that worked for us both. Its a shame he is retiring. Micaela was ready and waiting to help me, despite me being late. She found a car that suited all my and my families needs. She was very helpful and I was very comfortable with her. More

Confused with everything from the beginning When I first came in a sales rep greeted me asked what I was doing. Told him I was wanting to look for a car he said okay go into wait room and someon When I first came in a sales rep greeted me asked what I was doing. Told him I was wanting to look for a car he said okay go into wait room and someone will come get you. Waited a little over 5 mins and the same guy says okay come with me. Then I followed him to his cubical and was confused since I waited as he ended being my sales guy. Didn't know his name so had to introduce myself and asked what his name was. He wanted to ask a few questions, asked about trade in. I said yes and told him the amount he then said oh wow you owe a lot still on it. Finally ended up test driving it, it was a nice car. He then said while test driving you might be better off just selling to a private owner and are you sure your bank will finance all of it? We go back to the office to "crunch" numbers. I already got other quotes from dealers and looked to see what my vehicle was worth. He comes back to me with an insulting price. I asked him to repeat it. I was offended that the number he offered was over 5 grand different then other local dealers. He then gives a half smile saying oh are the others giving you a few hundred more? No sir they are giving me thousands more. I would not recommend this place to anyone. More
