Great Chevy dealership I initially dealt with Joe who is the internet manager. He answered my questions in a timely manner. Chaz enthusiastically and patiently dealt with my various questions and issues. Overall a great dealership experience. More
Overall sales experience was great! We had our 2008 Saturn Vue for only two days and all if a sudden the cruise control stopped working and at the same time 2 traction control warning lights and a TPS Saturn Vue for only two days and all if a sudden the cruise control stopped working and at the same time 2 traction control warning lights and a TPS light came on. I took the Vue straight to John Bowman Chevrolet @ 4:30pm and Brian Burke (used car sales manager) took me straight to the Service department and had someone check out the vehicle. Bad news first: The mechanic that looked at it told Brian that there was a switch that needed to be replaced and they would need to keep the vehicle until Monday (for saftey reasons) so Brain set it up for me to get a loaner car for the weekend. Here's the bad news: Apparently the mechanic was going on vacaiton the next day and he did not write any notes down regarding what type of switch they needed and he cleared out all the error codes. So the service department had to duplicate the errors (needless to say it took an extra 2 days for the codes to error out again (typical thing that seems to happen when you take a vehicle into the shop), for some reason cars don't like to co-operate when you take them in for service. GREAT NEWS: Ron the service manager ended up taking the Suv home on Tuesday night to try to duplicate the errors and he actually did, he hooked it up to the computer and found the switch that needed to be replaced, Wednesday morning picked up the part, installed it and tested. Brian and Ron did a great job and to top it all off they had Al (another nice person) washed, filled up our gas tank & drove our Vue to my work (a half hour away!) to swap cars with me. A nice added touch, Brian also gave us a $50 gas card for our inconveince. I have to tell you my wife and I have had horrible experiences with other dealerships in the past ranging from sales to service. Brian has made us customers for life; wether it is service for BOTH of our GM vehicles or puchase of new/used vehicles. More
Working with Justin was very lovely. I had been looking for a car for quite a while with no luck, until I met Justin. He was extremely kind and helped walk us through the entire process. He wasn't at all pushy like most of the people I had previously looked at cars with. When I walked into other dealerships, it was like I entered a shark tank and it was very overwhelming. My experience with Justin was just the opposite of that, I was actually very excited when I walked in and met him. He made me feel very comfortable the entire time. He listened to everything that I wanted and needed and made everything work out perfectly and now I have an amazing car that I absolutely love and I have him to thank for that. I will be recommending Justin to everyone and in the future if I am ever in need of another car, I will be sure to come back :) More

I believe the whole dealership went above and beyond in taking care of me and getting me into my new car. My father (who has went through this process many times) said that he was also extremely impressed with the customer service that was provided. I have only had my car for a few days now, but I wanted to get on as soon as possible and write this review. People need to know how great this place really is. When I'm ready for another car, Justin will most certainly be my guy. More

Wow, what can I say. In dealing with dealerships, this was the first feel good, positive experience that I've had with one. Everyone at the dealership was very helpful. Other financing options were offered and everyone seemed to bend over backwards to help me get into my new vehicle. Have not had the opportunity to visit or use the service department as yet. I purchased a new Avalanche using my GM Discount and available rebates. Trade in on my 2009 Avalanche was very fair trade giving department as yet. I purchased a new Avalanche using my GM Discount and available rebates. Trade in on my 2009 Avalanche was very fair trade giving me a substancial downpayment on the new vehicle, that with rebates and GM Discount made it almost impossible not to trade up. Everyone I dealt with at Bowman was very polite and seemed to know their end of the business very well. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction and arrangements were made to accomdate my schedule for all of the necessary administrivia to exchange vehicles, deal with the financing etc. This is the first vehicle I have purchased from Bowman after buy a number of vehicles from another dealership. The previous dealer lost my business due to a number of bad experiences for myself, my wife & my daughter-in-law in their service department. Once the new car smell wears off the vehicle your opinion of the dealership is based on the performance of the service department and the treatment you receive from them. The previous dealer lost the business of at least 4 individuals who trade for new vehicles about every other year, my wife and I have done this since 1982, they have sold us a lot of cars. Their service depatment cost them a lot of car sales. More
