You know your going to be pressured into buying something, and it makes most experiences painful. Sometimes you just want to look, test drive some cars and call it a day, because you might not be ready to buy. My husband and I recently had to purchase a new car for me. We are "newlyweds" and this was our first big purchase as a married couple, as adults, and without our parents to help guide us. Talk about super stressful! I knew I wanted a Jeep, I had done a bunch of online research. Bournival Jeep had exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I went in with a "game plan." First off, our sales person Fred Clark had the cars I was looking at waiting for me when we got there. Wow. No walking around searching for the cars and trying to find someone to help us. He really took the time to get to know my husband and I, we didn't feel pressured or overwhelmed. We bought our first car all by ourselves with the guidance of Fred Clark. Jessica Gorman from finance really went out of her way to secure us a good deal with the bank. Unfortunately when we went to get my car there was a mishap with the starter. This DIDN'T dampen our experience at all. They hooked me up with a nice Jeep Cherokee, fully loaded might I add, to use while they fixed the problem. I was totally expecting to have my husband drive me home and be car-less until it was done. This was totally not the case! Fred Clark and his team made sure we were taken care of. I knew right then and there is anything ever went wrong I could count on them to be there. Talk about incredible. As a young adult, you worry about leaving the dealer with your new car and being left high and dry if something goes wrong. We didn't feel that way with Bournival Jeep. They made a young couples first time car buying experience delightful and comfortable. I would 100% recommend coming here. And Ask for Fred Clark, he is the best! More

Jess took the time to go over in details of my contract and made sure I was comfortable about my purchase. John took the time to go over things I should know about my Jeep, how to work the gears, off road features, how to open the canvas top (and emailed me videos to show me how to take off the top), they even set up my phone with the blue tooth for me. They made a dream come true and made the experience really fun! :) More

Incredibly caring man saved me from disaster! Yesterday, I was on a 4-hour long road trip and I heard a troublesome, loud noise coming from my front tire. I called Bournival Jeep simply because they were on my route; keep in mind that I had never been there before. Luckily for me, Mike Fletcher picked up the phone to hear my concerns. Even though he was supposed to only be there until 5:30 pm, he stayed late waiting for my arrival. He quickly figured out that my tires' lug nuts were loose and my rim was dangerously insecure. He fixed the problem and helped me get back on the road within minutes. When I offered him a tip to thank him for helping me--a complete stranger--he humbly declined. "It's something I just cannot accept," he said. This is a testament to his character. Thank you, Mike Fletcher, for helping me safely return to the highway. I will pass your kindness on. More

Great to be back after about 10 years off, I decided to return to the Jeep brand in 2016 and purchased a new Grand Cherokee Summit in August from Mike Hollis. Mike was extremely helpful in putting together the right deal for me, and Jessica Gorman was also instrumental in making sure the deal "got done" without any surprises at the end. After 10,000 wonderful miles on the Jeep - through the Northeast winter - I recently went in for my first service and was quite pleased to still see Mike Fletcher running the show - Mike is a long time employee, and one I trust to do the right thing. It feels great to be back with the Jeep brand and the team at Bournival in Portsmouth - where I've now purchased and serviced a total of six vehicles! More

Hey, not to worry at this dealership with Alissa at the helm! She was all over it. Turned things around in minutes and put us right back on track. Thank you Alissa! I've purchased from Bournival in the past and had my most recent Jeep serviced in their shop for years -- kept my baby purring to almost 200k -- always a good experience. I know the establishment under Alissa Bournival's leadership to be fair, honest and customer focused. From sales to finance to service, Alissa will not tolerate anything less. It is very clear that the essence of the success of Bournival is Alissa's business ethic, and the obvious pride and commitment she holds to the business that bears her name. Unlike so many car dealers competing in the industry today that can be shady, Alissa doesn't play any games. It's obvious the she cares about her customers and is out to connect them with great cars -- simple as that. As for the sales experience, from the outset of my new car search Mike Hollis greeted me at the gate with a warm handshake and a friendly curiosity about what I was looking for. Once Mike helped connect me with the right vehicle and we carved out a great deal, the baton was passed to Jess Gorman in finance and things just got better. Jess is great! She worked her magic with tenacity and a smile, beat the finance deal I had found on my own, and didn't subject me to any hard finance sales tactics. Despite my positive history with Bournival I'll confess that I shopped around. But in the end, I stuck with Bournival. Not only did I get the best deal out there on the vehicle I wanted, I left the experience feeling like family rather than feeling like I'd been taken for a ride. My advice? Save yourself a boat load of weekends of car shopping and take a drive to Bournival in Portsmouth, NH.
