Walking in the door everyone was friendly. 2008 Volvo S60- I was assured by salesman Shawn that the car only had minor dings and scratches- it was in great shape. I made the $300 deposit and on 7/29/13 I drove the 5 hours to buy it. I waited 25 minu car only had minor dings and scratches- it was in great shape. I made the $300 deposit and on 7/29/13 I drove the 5 hours to buy it. I waited 25 minutes to be helped and after finally seeing the car, the body was in horrible shape. There was a 2 foot long crease and DEEP scratch, 50 or so scratches everywhere, prior bodywork on the front left fender and the hood clearcoat was gone or burned through from improper compounding. The price was under bluebook for excellent condition but the condition was anything but excellent. It certainly wasn't worth the asking price. Even knowing how far I had driven and that Shawn had not been straight with me, they refused to budge on price and didn't seem to care about trying to make it right. Complete indifference and this was a cash sale- no trade. These cars appear to be bought from auction. Had I known that, I would have expected the condition. Unless you want this type of condition and lousy uncaring service, I highly suggest you avoid these guys. I drove 20 minutes and found a dealer that appreciated my business and went out of their way to make a deal. I got a car with less miles in awesome condition for less money. More
Talked to Shawn 4 days before to let him know I was interested in a car, and asked if it was ready to buy. I wanted to drive a car home that day. The day I showed he informed me the care was still be interested in a car, and asked if it was ready to buy. I wanted to drive a car home that day. When I presented other cars I was interested in at that location I was told those were also being serviced or they were not able to locate them. I spent more that an hour and half waiting, and did not test drive a single car. I gambled on this dealer and lost. When to another dealer I've worked with in the past and was able to test drive and start paperwork in under 45 minutes. I will not gamble on this dealer again. More

We like transparency of the selling strategy- no meaningless sales pitch, no salesman hanging on you as you browse, no haggling over price. Yet we receive thoughtful answers to our questions. David Pear always hustles and is is eager to find the right car for us but doesn't try to sell us something we don't want. On occasion the car we have selected needed some attention [ie missing plastic caps, or a tire that we are not happy with]. David sees to it that these pieces are replaced and the car is ready for pick -up on time. He keeps in touch if we are looking for a certain type of car and calls us when something comes in. David Pear is always professional and has taken the "sting" out of buying a car. You will get open, honest dealing- no rehearsed sales pitch. More

My rating for Bourne's could have been much higher. Two weeks have passed so I am trying to be objective. CONS-Had to "Hunt Them Down" in order to get the "Real" Electronic Key for my Honda. Made Qty=3 Two weeks have passed so I am trying to be objective. CONS-Had to "Hunt Them Down" in order to get the "Real" Electronic Key for my Honda. Made Qty=3 Phone Calls to no avail / satisfaction. Finally had to physically go down there and get their attention. Jake was okay but the Service Manager (Forget His Name) needs some help with his customer service skills. I left the Service Mgr. Qty=2 VM's regarding my key and he NEVER returned my calls!! PROS-Andrew Gesner (Finance Manager) is a true professional. Top Notch! So far I am very satisfied with my Vehicle. More
My wife and I went to Bourne's after finding a Honda Pilot online for a fair price through Autotrader.com. I was referred to David Pair by a friend who has done business with Bourne's Auto Center in the past. David was very helpful and let us take a couple vehicles for a test drive on our own. We left a deposit that day for the vehicle we wanted, and continued to search other dealers for a similar or better deal. They had the best price for the car we wanted. We scheduled a time to bring in my trade a couple of days later. I would have liked to get a little more money for my trade in but I think Bourne's was fair and gave me the best market value based on what they would be able to sell it for at auction. Once we came to an agreement on the trade value we sat down with Andy in finance. Andy was able to lay out a few different finance options for us and we chose the best option for our budget. Overall, it was a very good experience. Low pressure selling and fair prices. I have already recommended a coworker to go and see David. He is going this weekend! More
