This is a very common problem with the Volt when the EGR shorts out and blows the F03 fuse. I told the scheduler all this and asked it specifically be evaluated. I agreed to the $175 fee. I was called later that day and was told that the dealership wanted $700 for investigating the issue and they told me all they did was replace a fuse (the exact one I told them was likely blown). There was no mention or apparent effort to diagnose the EGR valve. I was fully irritated that I was being charged the diagnostic fee just to tell me absolutely nothing, other than “we replaced a fuse.” I was given 1/2 off the diagnostic fee, but I still paid $90 for NO information, other than “we replaced a fuse.” This is unacceptable and why dealerships have a bad reputation when it comes to maintenance. I ended up ordering a new EGR valve so I can replace it myself. I won’t be coming back. This would have been a 1 star review had I not been given 1/2 the fee waived, but it’s still unacceptable to pay a”diagnostic fee“ and receive no diagnosis. More

Service advisor was pushing drive train maintenance services that the maintenance manual stated did not need to be done for at least another 50,000 miles. They did repair the starter ahead of schedule, services that the maintenance manual stated did not need to be done for at least another 50,000 miles. They did repair the starter ahead of schedule, which was the reason for the visit. Felt like the advisor was on commission and was trying to upsell. My trust in their “advice “ has plummeted. More

Was the wastegate for my 2017 chevy cruse ever develiered? Who knows ,certainly not me. I feel bad for the dealership and the 3 Uber trips that paid for but never got to fix my car. I was already to drop the 700 to 800 for the repair. I guess you did not want my money More
