Joe, thank you for taking the time to write this review. Your 2015 Buick Enclave did not have a cracked axle, it had a torn axle boot. Unfortunately, that is not repairable so you have to replace the whole axle shaft assembly. The last time you came in with a noise issue, our techs drove it to see if they could duplicate that specific noise and find out where it was coming from. They thought the noise was coming from the left front wheel bearing, but they put the vehicle up in the air to verify as sound can travel and echo throughout the vehicle. Once verified, that repair was done. Unfortunately, usually, when we do one wheel bearing, it's not long after that we need to do the other one. If one wheel is struggling to spin, it can cause stress on other components of the vehicle. Sometimes it's the tire wear or suspension components but most of the time it ends up being another wheel bearing. If you have any questions or would like to discuss things further, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Service Manager, Jim Piscitello, at 262-409-2600.
