Best car sales ever! Gretchen made this purchase so easy. I have to admit I was dreading having to purchase a new car. I have had some bad experiences with car salesmen. But when I met Gretchen she changed all of those feelings into positive ones. I will be back when my lease is up and she better be ready to sell me another. We did have a computer problem with the car I purchased and Gretchen, Jesse and the manager of your maintenance department would not give up until everything was perfect. I really appreciate the dedication that they showed to me, and proved that they would make things right, and they were so fun and friendly through the process. You better hang onto this group because they are going to bring in the sales with their go to attitudes. Employees like this are hard to find. More

In route, we decided that we wanted to purchase a Volvo CX90, googled dealerships in Minnesota and was lucky enough to come across Borton Volvo and more importantly Vad. I called the dealership blindly and was connected with Vad, Vad was knowledgeable, a absolutely amazing to work with, he answered all of our questions while we were driving to Minnesota and answered them so well and made us feel so comfortable that we decided to purchase the car site unseen, we had never test drove or even really looked inside one of these cars before - we filled an application out online and when we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Vad and team signed papers and were driving off in our new car within 20 minutes of arrival. This is obviously not the usual car buying experience, but Vad made it happen so that we were able to drive our new car home that evening. Thank you Vad and team for such a fabulous experience! More
Its all about the sale, not the customer I went into this dealership with such high hopes. I had done research on the vehicles and thought this was the one for me. I was looking at the big th I went into this dealership with such high hopes. I had done research on the vehicles and thought this was the one for me. I was looking at the big things like efficiency, warranty options, etc. I explained my lifestyle and what I was looking for in a vehicle. My sales person listened and would consistently point out other items, such as the great stereo and the electronics etc. I admit I was distracted by all the bells and whistles, so didn't notice the small stuff. I was told about how great of a deal I was getting and this was such a great car that would retain it's value, etc. Well, not so much. It seems as soon as I signed on the dotted line and was committed, they were on to the next sale without a care if this vehicle fit my needs, if I liked it or anything. I never got a thank you, either written or email. To me being old fashioned, that's tacky. But modern world, ok. When I called for assistance getting measurements of the back to get a custom made liner, Gene made a half hearted attempt calling and talking to an office assistant out in CA and then saying no they couldn't get it. I was shocked that Volvo would not require the independent dealers to cooperate with each other to protect their brand. After about two weeks I realized this isn't the car for me. It is a great car for a city person who is easily distracted or drives in congestion while going to the club or local lake, but is not a good fit for someone who spends hours in a vehicle, who is involved with rescue. There are multiple things wrong with the design for anyone who drives for any length, such as no storage by the drivers side, wipers that don't stay on auto, and although I was told it was similar in size to my trade in, it is significantly smaller and cannot carry the same capacity. I went back to Gene and the dealership and low and behold, they wouldn't even work with me. I have put less than 1800 miles in 2 months,. We paid $2500 extra for the "certified preowned" which is a complete farce. It cannot be transferred to another dealer or returned to them, so no credit there.... They forgot to mention that on the sale. I feel like I was handed a bunch of half truths just to make the sale. BUT it gets better - when I called them to discuss returning, fully expecting I would be paying something in, they indicated it would be at least $10,000 less, so two months and $10,000 or fully 1/4 of my pre-sale price in two months. REALLY? Why? Oh, because Borton is planning to do a mass purchase and flood the market with this inferior quality vehicles. Lovely. In summary, if you go to Borton, know they are not out to be your long term dealer, they are all about the deal and getting their money out. Laughing all the way to the bank. And don't expect any resale from your vehicle.... More

We have always heard good things about Borton Volvo in Golden Valley, Minnesota, so we visited the showroom to view the latest from Volvo. We were most fortunate to be introduced to a super Sales Consultant named Gene Kaganovsky. We soon discovered what we had already heard a lot about; that today’s cars are filled with so much technology and features that it’s amazing; and in some ways it’s also overwhelming. Gene is a seasoned, intelligent and articulate individual and we are amazed by his vast knowledge of everything Volvo and he made the entire discovery process very fun and entertaining. Thankfully, right away one thing became quite clear; not only was Gene interested in selling us a vehicle, he was highly-focused on helping us select the right vehicle. It was a relief to know that he cared a great deal about our satisfaction. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable with the process and fully informed. Ultimately, Gene Kaganovsky helped us to order two new Volvo’s from Borton; a Volvo V60 Cross Country and a Volvo XC90! Gene also set us up with a great financing package. Gene’s concierge level of service didn’t end there. Upon delivery, he also dedicated his time to help us assimilate with the new vehicle and its features; including integrating our smartphones with all the vehicles technology. We’re more than pleased to share that our incredible experience with Borton Volvo didn’t end with just purchasing two new vehicles. We learned there was such a high demand for the new XC 90 that during production, the factory ran out of a highly sought after accessory. Rather than stop production and delay our order, Volvo completed our custom ordered vehicle, minus the component to ensure timely delivery. We received a call from Borton Volvo’s General Manager Pat Sutter. Pat informed us that not only was our new Volvo on the way, but he wanted to personally apologize that the factory had run out of an accessory we had ordered. He stated, not to worry, that Volvo would be building us a new vehicle as soon as the part arrived at the factory and that we should drive our current new vehicle until the replacement arrived; then we would swap vehicles. We couldn’t believe it, the level of service and pursuit of customer satisfaction was unlike anything we have ever seen before! Pat Sutter was incredible, uncompromising in his pursuit of excellence, honest, and passionate about making sure we were 100% satisfied. It’s now easy for us to understand why Borton Volvo is so successful and highly recognized as the premier Volvo dealer in Minnesota.
