Made a bad deal right again I originally bought a car 4 years ago from David Stanley. I got an awful deal and the car was crap. I went back to David Stanley because they are under new management and had several vehicles I liked on their lot. Due to their selection I was able to test drive all the options I liked and was able to settle on one vehicle. My sales staff member Lindsey was phenomenal. I literally spent all day with her. She was committed to making sure that I was happy and had everything I needed. The staff did great getting the options and extras I wanted all while meeting my budget. I gave a 4 star rating because the first experience was awful and I thought the cars could have been kept cleaner. This time around was much better though! More
Day 1 was a disaster day two much better but car was filthy We went in to buy a car that day (Thursday), however they didn’t mention the fact that they were in the process of moving everyone to a new store tomo We went in to buy a car that day (Thursday), however they didn’t mention the fact that they were in the process of moving everyone to a new store tomorrow. We were given the run-around for 4 hours, telling us the PC were down but just wait. They never said anything about the move and just kept stringing us along. We were able to go in the next day and make the purchase of the used vehicle. During the process I kept asking if they were getting the car detailed. As the prior owner was a smoker and had two dogs (I think in the car 24/7) in the vehicle. So the seats were covered in dog hair and smelled bad. When the paperwork was done and they brought out our vehicle, it had not been cleaned at all. Then I was told the detail man was to backed up to get to it today (now) so on a promise to detail it Saturday and a full tank of gas, I’m taking their word on it. in the mean time the windows have been left down to air it out, several different air cleaners have been sprayed in it, bowls of baking soda set in it, dryer sheets even placed under the seats to get that disgusting odor out of the car. This car should have never been shown in this state and no way should it have been driven off the lot as sold. Several friends and family members have seen and smelled the car, so I don’t think they will be shopping there. I must say it was like day and night between the two days and the personal change. They accomplish more in a hour then the first ones did in 4 hours. I will see tomorrow if they deliver what they promised. I'm giving them a 2 on the condition the vehicle was delivered in and the same for not recommending them. However the salesman Larry was great and so was the finance man. My experience at David Stanley Kia I was about to buy a car from David Stanley Norman and was test driving a car to buy, I felt like the David Stanley Norman representative was pushing I was about to buy a car from David Stanley Norman and was test driving a car to buy, I felt like the David Stanley Norman representative was pushing me to make a quick decision, but appreciated the fact that he wanted me to take it home and test drive it. I loved the car, but was struggling with the idea of being able to afford it. That night someone from David Stanley Kia contacted me and told me about the Chevy Captiva same year, mileage, but less expensive because it wasn't as loaded as the first Captiva, but Ana Rodriguez was very willing to listen to my wishes and you guys were able to make it possible to not go past my goal, they were willing to install some of the things that I really wanted in the car, while I lost out on a nicer vehicle, but felt better about this one because it fit my needs as far as finances. She was not pushy and was really personable and very easy going which I appreciate because at the other David Stanley Norman they were friendly but you could tell that they were just trying to get a sale and it was obviously put on, but Ana wasn't that way. When I decided to get it, she was helpful and willing to go with me to drop off the other vehicle and when the others were very rude to her and to me when they found out that they weren't getting the sale she was a help to me. I appreciate the different approach here at David Stanley Kia much more than the other guys and even though the other place is gorgeous and exciting you guys were more personable. More

DO NOT SHOP HERE WARNING: If you are shopping for a new (or used) vehicle, DO NOT SHOP AT DAVID STANLEY KIA! If you think they are a reputable dealer THEY ARE NOT! The WARNING: If you are shopping for a new (or used) vehicle, DO NOT SHOP AT DAVID STANLEY KIA! If you think they are a reputable dealer THEY ARE NOT! They will rob you blind! We were looking for a reliable vehicle that would be great for a growing young family. We bought an All Wheel Drive 2009 Dodge Journey with 98K miles on it. We were really happy with the great deal from the Black Friday promotion they were running. We loved it until 5 weeks later the check engine light came on and the vehicle would not shift past 2nd gear. We took it to a mechanic to see what the problem was. I called David Stanley Kia asking for a manager to see what they would do for us since we hadn’t even owned the vehicle for 2 months yet. The operator said all the managers were busy so I left a message to have someone call me back. Two days later, when I hadn’t heard anything, I called again and spoke to Jordan “The Used Car Manager.” He said that he would take care of us and get us into something else off the lot, just call him and let him know what the mechanic determined the problem to be. The mechanic figured out the whole transmission needed to be rebuilt. So I called David Stanley Kia again and asked for “Jordan The Used Car Manager” and was told he was busy so I left a massage. I called 3 days in a row leaving messages for him and never got a call back. So I drove to the dealership after work with my 4 month-old daughter. When I asked to talk to a manager they asked who our salesman was and sent him to me instead of a manager. After examining what was wrong with the vehicle and what Jordan had told us Jordan appear. I again repeated the problem and said I had left 3 messages for him to call, to which he replied “this is the first I’m hearing of anything but there are two used car managers named Jordan.” He said he would call around and see if he could find someone “with a transmission just laying around” they could use to fit our vehicle, and then he disappeared. The salesman started showing us different SUVs and cars on the lot asking “how do you like this car?” “What about this one?” “Do you want to test drive that one?” With every option he pointed out, I asked what the price was but he couldn’t give me any answers. Jordan eventually came back and told me he could give us $3000 (not even half of what we paid) in trade in for the Journey towards something else. The cheapest car on the lot (that wasn’t remotely close to what we were looking for) was an SUV without AWD that had nearly 200K miles and was covered in rust that the salesman had said would probably end up going to auction for parts. That was clearly not something we wanted and we would still have had to pay the difference. We chose to have the mechanic rebuild the transmission, which ended up costing us $3900. We also had to replace the tires because two of them were cracked and showing the inner tube and leaking air. The other two tires had almost no treed on them and needed to be replaced, which cost another $875 and another $85 to replace the tire pressure sensor that is missing causing the tire pressure light to be on at all times (the salesman said the tires just needed air!). Add in the oil change that was needed as well as the windshield wiper blades that had to be replaced totally $120, and the registration, tax, and title at $320. Not to mention the hardship of having to borrow a vehicle from family for over a month between the dealership not calling me back and the mechanic rebuilding the transmission. More than half of the time we have owned the vehicle we haven’t even been able to drive it! We went to David Stanley Kia expecting the experience of reputable dealer, not to be robbed blind. More
