Wasn’t in the market for a new vehicle but while I was there for service I decide to go just talk with Pat Walsh to kill time. They had a power wagon 75th anniversary edition that I was curious to see. After looking at it I was amazed. Figuring in these times I wouldn’t be making any kind of deal, I was a little discouraged but after talking more with Pat he was able to get me a huge trade in value and I was able to get into the power wagon. This is the 5th vehicle I’ve bought from them and will keep going back to Pat for them. I will say he is very honest and doesn’t try to “push or upsell” anything. More
I scheduled to have my car serviced for a transmission flush after about 70k miles before I’m to make a long trip to make sure everything was in good shape for the drive. I give them my VIN number, so the flush after about 70k miles before I’m to make a long trip to make sure everything was in good shape for the drive. I give them my VIN number, so they know my exact make and model before I enter the dealership. I am quoted a price and signed for a $206 service RO. I return to my price being $471 for a transmission flush, which has to be the price of a Ferrari transmission flush (I have a V6 2015 Dodge Charger). I proceed to argue with my service writer about upcharging me over 100% and he tells me its because “I have an 8 gear transmission.” I already knew this and so did he before I came into the dealership hence why they ask for the VIN number. It turns out I was paying $38 a quart for transmission fluid which I needed 9 of. No one in the world pays $38 for a quart of transmission fluid unless its like Goldenshlauger and contains gold flakes (sarcasm). This dealership thought they could easily pull a fast one on me. They are scam artists and thieves and I feel bad for any unsuspecting person they have scammed in the past. Do not have car work done here. More
I had a very good experience working with Rick Goulette at Bonneville and Son. Rick worked with me on a great deal and he was awesome when I showed up at the dealership to pick up my new Dodge Ram. December 2018 I purchased a 2014 diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee. July 2020 I brought My vehicle in due to an issue with one of my tires, when I got it back the heat and ac controls did not work. I spoke w Cherokee. July 2020 I brought My vehicle in due to an issue with one of my tires, when I got it back the heat and ac controls did not work. I spoke with the service department afterwards and they shrugged and said “it should be working”. When I spoke to the service manager who has been there for “30 years” he was less than helpful. He belittled me and told me that there is nothing he can do other than charge me for service and any other parts needed. I figured I would try to cut my losses and give this dealership one more try. When I spoke to the sales department they told me that they couldn’t get me into anything on the lot because of the current value of my vehicle (That I purchased less than two years prior) Disappointed is an understatement. I went to high school with the owners son, and assumed that my experience with this dealership would have been much different. They couldn’t even give me an option to make this situation right. More

The salesman was nice, he got us into the vehicle that day, and he also roasted the clutch several times trying to pull the vehicle out of the washing bay, thanks for that. Had 7 individual credit checks on my credit report, which seemed odd because when I got a loan through Grappone and Banks there was only 1 check, not 7. Also got the highest percentage financing out of the 7 auto loans I have taken out over the years. Received letters for months after buying the vehicle explaining why our loan application was rejected. "Unable to verify credit". Each letter had THE WRONG ADDRESS ON IT. We had to pointed it out the the loan officer twice that he had the wrong address, and hence why they couldn't find our credit. April 2018 - Noticed there was about 1 out of 4 quarts oil missing, called service to voice my concern, and was told that was normal oil consumption for a vehicle. I'm pretty sure that your motor shouldn't eat oil. Call multiple time after that and received similar answers, and I was offered to come in and pay 95.00 for an oil change so they can do an oil consumption test on a vehicle under warranty. November 2018 - Get into my vehicle and shut my door. Rear hatch glass explodes all over my child. Call Bonneville for 3 days, get put on hold, get hung up on, talked to many many managers and finally get to a woman that is willing to help me. She says she can't help with the glass, but will waive the fee for the oil consumption test (for a vehicle that is under warranty and shouldn't be eating oil). December 2018 - Oil consumption test compete. Almost a year later and they finally accept that they need to replace the motor which again, is covered under warranty. Provided me with a loaner car. Hours later I get a phone call asking me to bring back the loaner car because it was promised to someone else. Thanks for offering to reimburse me for the time I took off from work and for the gas I wasted shuffling a loaner car back to you so you could make a different customer happy. January 2019 - About 6 weeks later I get the Jeep back, new motor, that came with a new 3 year 36K mile warranty, and smelling like mold because it probably in their parking lot for weeks without being started. You'd think the least they could do would be to give it wash but I got it back covered in salt just like I dropped it off. Maybe other dealerships don't do that after service but places like Banks and Grappone do. I would like to note though, that Nick was very helpful and kind once they approved the warranty work. Monday July 2020- Husband changes the oil on this gem of a vehicle and notices that the engine is shaking quite a bit. Looks around and notices that the rear motor mount is not connected to the engine. The bolt appears to be stripped out and now bent from the engine moving back and forth. Literally me a 130lb girl can move my engine 3" forwards and backwards. Apparently whoever replaced the engine did a pretty crappy job installing it considering its about to fall out. They were that last people to touch those mounts, it should last longer than a year and a half. Joe was literally yelling at my husband on the phone. They are supposed to be calling us back, because again, we were told that there is nothing they can do for us. Tuesday - I am missing work today because my engine is about to fall out. I called Bob Mariano another Jeep dealership because I can't afford to miss work and am willing to pay out of pocket. They had no issue getting me in touch with someone that can help within minutes. He looked up the history of the vehicle and here's the kicker, they are not comfortable performing the work BECAUSE BONNEVILLE SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING THE MOUNT BECAUSE THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE AND IT IS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. Called Bonneville 3 more times and finally got in touch with John Barry. He agreed that it should be covered under the work they performed. I bit the bullet and agreed to tow it to them (more money out of pocket) John said that he would send an email out to the entire service department so everyone was aware. Tow truck driver called me at 1:45 let me me know that he dropped it off and the keys were with service. Today - Received a call from Ron from service this morning, ASKING WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE SO THEY COULD FIX IT. Guess John never sent out that email or communicated to his staff what is wrong with my vehicle. Still no loaner car. Never offered a rental. DAY 3 I AM MISSING WORK. 20 minutes later receive a phone call from Joe telling us THAT THE JEEP WONT START. Dead battery. Called the tow truck driver this morning, he swears the car was parked, locked, and turned off. Sounds like someone in their service department moved it and killed my battery, Long story short. Make sure that the dealership you are buying a vehicle from has a good service reputation. I see happy customers on here with pictures of their brand new cars, but if you look closer there are many complaints about the service department. What's the point of buying a new vehicle if the dealership doesn't honor the warranty? Or worse, they hammer your new motor in so it can fall out a few years later while your driving? Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, I wish I did. More
