We traded in a used 2012 Explorer (bought at Bonnell in 2014) at Bonnell and got an excellent price for it (shout out to Richard King at Bonnell who helped us when we first arrived at Bonnell to talk about 2014) at Bonnell and got an excellent price for it (shout out to Richard King at Bonnell who helped us when we first arrived at Bonnell to talk about purchasing a new Explorer). We used the trade-in value to buy a new 2021 Explorer which we ordered from the factory. Eric Yurcisin is the sales rep at Bonnell that helped us with the factory order. Initially he told us the wait time would be about 5-6 months, but to our pleasant surprise the new car was at the dealership in 4 months. Communication with both Eric and Bonnell's finance person John Chalas was excellent and any wrinkles during sale/purchasing process were ironed out quickly. Great experience overall and definitely worth the wait! More
We approached the dealership with having already researched our car and new what we wanted. We made it simple for the dealer. After signing the purchase agreement, everything fell apart from there. My insurance agent contacted the dealer and the finance department did not have the car information and so my insurance agent could not initiate my insurance application. 2 days later, the dealer provided the information. I work nights and had made this clear to the dealer. My insurance agent was able to create the application but I was sleeping. The dealer kept calling my agent and asking for the paperwork. It took me 4 hours to respond as I was sleeping. The dealer told me the car would be ready the next day to pick up by 5 pm. I told them again, I work nights and cannot pick up at that time, so therefore I would come in the next day in the morning. Expecting the car would be ready, I arrived at 10 AM. No car. The dealer had still not installed the roof cross bars. I was then told it would take another 30 minutes. 2 hours later, the car was still not ready. Once I received the car, the gas tank was only 2/3 full. Would have expected a full tank of gas. Once they have your money, you fall right down the priority list. No regard for people’s work schedule. Poor understanding and poor communication. Customer rep did the best he could, the dealer support seemed to be missing. More
Sue at Bonnell is awesome!! She is a great communicator, provides timely updates, advocates for the customer. In addition she is a real car person, ask her about the Mustang Mach E. provides timely updates, advocates for the customer. In addition she is a real car person, ask her about the Mustang Mach E. Jeff (Bonnell?) used scare tactics to try to course into unnecessary work. Jeff stated the car would not pass inspection and needed a laundry list of repairs totaling $3000. I refused the work and took my car to a reputable local repare shop I have used in the past and all the car needed was front breaks replaced. Not the calipers or any of the other BS he tried to get work done. A family of con artists! More
Had trouble with my car. There were no warning lights and I had no idea what was wrong. Called the dealership and made an appointment for the following Monday. Monday the performed some computer tests and drove it around a little. Nothing showed up. I told them the problem started after about one hour of driving. The kept the car to let it run and drive longer on Tuesday. This time they discovered the problem. They had to order parts so I didn't get the car back for a couple of days. That was ok as long as the problem was resolved. Thankfully, they did keep it to run it longer to experience the problem I described. More
