I have dealt with other dealerships where you wait all day in the heat, even when you have an appointment, to even get your car checked in. Not so here. They were quick and attentive. I felt like I had come to a place where people know me even though this was my first visit. I hope to own this car for a lot of years and I hope this is the type of service I get every time I come back! I wish I remember the woman's name who checked me in and out because she made me feel right at home! More

HOWEVER, a lot can change and has ! This time, I was looking for a Mazda and the experience was a lot better. I was treated with dignity and respect. There was no "fast sell" attitude and the salesman didn't give me the pressure to buy. He gave me the space I needed and the time to think it through. I asked a lot of questions and they were all answered to my satisfaction. Of course I will NEVER believe that I got a good price because whatever you end up paying always seems like too much and I'll never know for sure. If I could change things with ALL car dealerships, I'd pass legislation to force them to give up-front pricing (like Saturn used to do) and stop the commissions for the salesman so the consumer gets the best possible deal. I hate haggling and always feel like somehow I could have done better. BUT I feel comfortable with this deal and I love my car. More
Car ordered, arrived damaged, dealer didn't care I wanted to purchase a new vehicle with an uncommon options package, so I decided to order the vehicle through Boniface Hiers Mazda. I was initially told the vehicle would arrive in 8 weeks (average time), however the actual time was about 12 weeks. I was VERY excited the day it arrived, and Roddy shared my excitement as he sent photos of "my" new vehicle. I was of course thrilled to be purchasing a brand-new vehicle that should be flawless as it hadn't sat on the lot or been test-driven by any customers. I went in the following day to complete the paperwork and take delivery. When I arrived I was given the keys and quickly ushered to the vehicle. The test drive was great, just as I remembered from WAY back before it was ordered. I took no thought to inspect the vehicle for damage; after all, wasn't the Dealer supposed to thoroughly inspect and coddle every vehicle on arrival from the factory? As I exited the vehicle, the reflection angle revealed a dent on the roof, near the sunroof. A DENT IN MY BRAND-NEW VEHICLE!!! I was devastated to say the least, but then went into full inspection mode. Along with the dent, there were scratches in the black on the driver-side window pillar, scratches in the paint near the passenger-side taillight, and a deep scratch on the rear bumper. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Of course Roddy was apologetic, and they offered to "fix" the damage. They took the car to the back and wiped some black detail solution onto the window pillar. This did NOT remove the obvious scratches, only the greasy fingerprint smudges. I was told the dent could be "popped out", within a few days. The scratches in the paint would require paintwork to fully repair. Why would I want a new vehicle that has already had paint-work and dent-work? At this point I am walk out on the deal unless the dealer offered a substantial discount off the retail price. After all, I am now being offered damaged merchandise! All Pete could offer was two free oil changes. He was very flippant and unconcerned, taking the attitude that if I didn't want the vehicle, no worries, they would just sell it to someone else!! After I had waited 12 weeks!!!! I find it very hard to believe that the defects were not discovered during the dealer inspection, despite their "surprise" when I pointed them out. I believe Boniface Hiers Mazda intentionally tried to deceive me and did not disclose the truth, hoping that I would not notice their damage. With this experience I cannot recommend purchasing from Boniface Hiers Mazda, as my trust has been completely broken. More
Customer Service Worst customer service I have ever seen, my wife took our 2011 Mazda CX-7 in for an OIL CHANGE 2 weeks ago and they damaged the door. They peeled the clear coat off the door and refuse to repair it. The service rep Yves Fernandez tells her there were bubbles in the clear coat and when washed it was peeled off, really it was there for an oil change. After 2 weeks my wife calls them back and Yves Fernandez tells her too bad nothing they can do, yesterday they leave a message saying it would cost $300 and would split the cost. Split the cost, come on it was there for an OIL CHANGE and YOU damaged the door and you want me to pay for half the damage. Don't take your car there. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Very easy car buying experience! This is my second new vehicle purchase in 4 months, I was not looking forward to replacing another vehicle since my last experience with the local "Ho This is my second new vehicle purchase in 4 months, I was not looking forward to replacing another vehicle since my last experience with the local "Honda" dealership was VERY painful, still love the car, but will always HATE the dealership and decided to look into other brands when it came to replace the spouses car. We visited a local Toyota and Hyundai dealership but were immediately turned off by a sales person hovering over our car before we had a chance to even step out! The car purchasing experience with Boniface Hiers Mazda was a complete opposite, easy, no pressure and we felt the salesperson "Darla" went out of her way to make sure we was satisfied with the transaction, she spent a considerable amount of time with my spouse, explaining all the features of the car and making sure her cell phone was properly connected and the satellite radio was working from day one. I would highly recommend this dealership, do your homework and research the quality of Mazda vehicles, and when you decide to purchase one, visit Boniface Hiers Mazda and ask for Darla. More
Did not expect such a deal. I went in looking to sell my high mileage gas guzzling truck in "Fair" condition but needing work. I walked in expecting just that because of past credit history, but drove out with a newer model fuel efficient vehicle with a lifetime warranty & low payments!! Could not be more thrilled!! More

Only negative is a near requirement to interface with an insurance agent and hear their sales pitch TWICE in order to buy the car. This happened while trying to discuss/understand the vehicle being purchased. Distracting and annoying. If the interaction with the agent could be a little more "voluntary" and scheduled so that it doesn't get shoe-horned in the middle of the buying process, it would be better for the buyer AND the agent.
