Front end repair on my Ford F-150 Our Ford F-150 broke down near this dealership while on the way to Florida from Indiana. Since it was an authorized Ford dealer we trusted them to do Our Ford F-150 broke down near this dealership while on the way to Florida from Indiana. Since it was an authorized Ford dealer we trusted them to do a good job. They said the front drivers side hub assembly was coming apart. They replaced the front wheel bearings and repack, rotors, brakes and pads and calipers on both sides. The charge was over $1000.00. While we were they they were very nice and friendly and made sure we were comfortable while we waited. We left and continued our vacation. Three thousand miles later the truck broke down again and had to be towed to our local repair center in Indiana! It was the same problem. The local service center told us they were not sure why the bearings failed but seemed there was a lack of proper lucubration on the bearings. The bearing failure ruined the spindle this time and we had to pay for a spindle, rotor and bearing repacks. Now we are out another $700.00. We feel that the repairs should have lasted longer than 3 months and 3000 miles. We Have called the Dealership Service and the Customer Service Departments to see if there would be some form of reimbursement for the original charges but they have not returned our calls. I now find out they don't belong to the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend having any service work done at this dealership. More
Kenny Beasley approached me as I was looking at cars. I explained what I was looking for and what price range. I drove away in a new Ford Mustang and could not be happier with the whole experience. Two years ago I purchased a F150 where we lived in Texas. We moved to Alabama in July 2013. After our move, my husband decided he loved my pickup so much he wanted one of his own. We stopped in Enterprise at We moved to Alabama in July 2013. After our move, my husband decided he loved my pickup so much he wanted one of his own. We stopped in Enterprise at the Ford dealer here and didn't see what he was looking for so we headed to Dothan. As soon as we pulled in, we saw a dealer walk up. I hate the pressure salesmen and told my husband that if this guy starts to push us, we were leaving! As we got out, Kenny asked how we were doing and if we had an appointment with anyone. We told him no, and went on to explain why we were there. He showed us a few trucks and we decided on what one my husband wanted to test drive. Kenny came along on the ride and answered any and all questions we had. Since we already had a relatively new F150, there wasn't very much difference in the truck from mine except this one was a V8 and mine a V6. After the test drive, we saw a couple more that we were interested in looking at and ended up test driving another. Not once did Kenny make us feel like we were being pressured into any certain one. We bought the truck my husband liked most and was very pleased with how we were treated. They gave us a reasonably good price for our Jeep that we traded in as well. After leaving with our new truck and almost home in Enterprise, we realized we didn't have our remote control for our garage and must have dropped it there at the dealership. We didn't have a house key with us either since we had the remote. I called Kenny, praying he was still at the dealership. He informed me that the dealership was closed and he was home. I proceeded to explain what had happened and he told me he didn't have a key to open up the doors but would call the manager, Jeromy, and see if he could look for it for me. Long story short, after a couple calls between myself, Kenny and Jeromy, they found our remote in the building. After going back to Dothan to get our remote, we finally headed home again. I feel that Kenny and Jeromy went well beyond their duties as salesmen! They both saved us from having to break windows in our new home! More
We live in Panama City Florida. We visited almost every dealership in Bay County Florida looking for the right vehicle and we were not set on any particular brand or model we were open and listened to many dealership in Bay County Florida looking for the right vehicle and we were not set on any particular brand or model we were open and listened to many sales people show us what that had after we explained what we were looking for in a car and the price we could afford to pay. After innumerable tries to make a deal we just were not satisfied we had found the right car at the right price and consequently we walked away from several cars. At this point I feel it is important to point out one thing stood out at many dealerships that really soured us and that was pressure or implied pressure sales with such statements as "What is it going to take to sell you a car today" and other versions of that are obvious the right car at the right price with the right terms is the only answer anyone could or should have to know so therefore any dummy can figure out this is pressure sales. Regardless of that annoyance we were not able to find the right car at the right price under the right terms to purchase a car. We looked on the internet extensively and finally decided to look north in Dothan and to our West in Fort Walton Beach. We found the actual car we bought on the Bondy's web site but there were other dealerships and cars we also wanted to see as well. Upon arrival at the dealership we were greeted by Kenny Beasley who was anything but pressure. I soft spoken man who listened attentively to what we were trying to find in a car and the terms we were looking for. We told him of the cars in his lot we were interested in and he opened them up and explained the features and remaining warranties etc of the vehicles we inquired of. He offered us a test drive and we decided to do so. He demeanor was so well received that I asked him to ride with us on our test drive so we could talk while we drove the car. He said he would but that he had not problem with us taking the car without him. I urged him to ride along so he could further show us what the car (a 2012 Lincoln MKZ) could offer us. He didn't start rattling off like a commercial he simply in real terms explained what we got for our money in this car. He pointed out features and amenities the car offered without in anyway seeming to over state things as is common in the sales business. We made an offer for consideration and then left to give the dealership time to consider our offer. While we were gone we visited another dealership and for comparative purposes made an inquiry and proposal on a different car that we actually didn't like as well but we just wanted to see where they would be by comparison. After leaving the Chevrolet Dealership we were convinced we had found the right car at Bondy's but our offer was not yet accepted. Upon return to Bondys' our offer was considered and with only minor acceptable adjustments we had a deal where in the right car was purchases at the right price under the right terms and we never once felt pressured or distrustful of the man we were dealing with Kenny Beasley. After the deal was sealed and the paperwork done Kenny went over all the features of the car, he even helped my wife sync her phone with the car and explained many of the unfamiliar nuances of the car to us. We have had the car over a week now and I can say the car buying experience was Outstanding time will only tell if the car can exceed our expectations the way Kenny did. More
SCHEDULED a oil change which provided them the make model of the vehicle. They called to confirm the appt the day before. I arrive 10 minutes early and drive up to the bay with 4 reps sitting in their seats of the vehicle. They called to confirm the appt the day before. I arrive 10 minutes early and drive up to the bay with 4 reps sitting in their seats and not one acknowledged me driving in or directing. I just stop where one is sitting and get out and walk up to them. I tell the service rep that I have an appt and here for the oil change. I go to the waiting area and after an hour (scheduled oil change) I go the rep to inquire on the delay only to be told they have to drive to a parts store to get a filter. I'm informed that I should call them ahead of time to let them know. Hello- I scheduled it. Nevertheless they took another hour to do a scheduled oil change. No apologies and all excuses. Btw the car was there an hour after closing and was told by the staff that this was normal. Really? More
Everyone knows car buying is not the greatest way to spend your day but if you want the best experience, Mr. Beasley is the man to ask for at the dealership. I purchased a used 2009 F-150 XLT from Salesman Richard Swinehart and assisted by James ? who Richard had cover for him on his day off when I came in to make the purchase. The experience from start to fin Swinehart and assisted by James ? who Richard had cover for him on his day off when I came in to make the purchase. The experience from start to finish was a pleasure. Originally from up north and I've always purchased Fords since 1965 I always thought most dealerships were good to deal with. If they weren't I didn't buy and never returned. Bondys of Dothan was truly a great experience. Richard and James were like old friends from the start. Even today when I return for service (great service provided by Lynn I may add) I end up in the showroom chatting with Richard & James until my vehicle is ready. I highly recommend Bondys of Dothan both Sales & Service to anyone wanting to purchase or have a vehicle serviced. Please personally compliment Richard, James, and Lynn.
