Had to get the hood and roof of my 2015 Suburban repainted due to the factory paint failing. Appears that the sun burnt through the paint. Dropped the vehicle off at the body shop on a Monday. Was t repainted due to the factory paint failing. Appears that the sun burnt through the paint. Dropped the vehicle off at the body shop on a Monday. Was told it would be ready by Wednesday. Wednesday came and went. Vehicle was never "finished" until the following Monday. Upon pick up of the vehicle, 4 dents were in the side of the vehicle (4 DENTS!!). As soon as I walked up to the vehicle, I could notice the dents. How does this happen? And how does it not get fixed prior to pick up? The headliner wasn't even cleaned up after the reinstall. It still had dirty finger prints all over it and was not installed correctly in some areas. Insulation still exposed at some points and trim not installed correctly at other points. The back seat had foot prints on it so I guess someone was standing on the back seat at some point. A plug that is installed through an inside body panel behind the driver's side rear door was never reinstalled. I am guessing that plug is laying down inside the body panel somewhere. And then, I get in it to drive it home and the seat belt won't even work! The inside panel at the driver side B-pillar was not installed correctly and had the seat belt jammed up. So I had to go back to the body shop to get that fixed just so I could drive it home. Luckily, a Tech was still there to put that back together so I could drive it home. The vehicle was never ready for pick up and now I have to take the time to take it back and drop it off again to get all of this stuff fixed. More
