I bought a used car form them almost a couple of month back. I flew in from Virginia to buy the car. The salesman Dwarn was great and very friendly. I was told the price over the phone when I got their I was shocked to find an almost $700 dealer fee. I was told the car is in great shape, but the cd player don't work and right door lock too. There was no place to sit to do the paper work, singed it at the sales tower. Now six weeks later I am still riding around with my second thirty day tags. When the first one almost expired I had to call them to ask about the tags I paid for just for them to tell me they need me to send them my paper work. They never return calls either finance or the title office. Sales manger does not return calls if it is not related to a new sales. For the money and the headache I would not recommend this place at all. very unprofessional crew. They just want your money and that all. I took the time to write this so it can help people avoid such places, I wish if I had read such review I would have thought twice. I am a real person very upset with this kind of service and I make it a point to not let such places of business pull a fast one without having to answer for it. thanks for reading and best of luck..(avoid this place) More
I dealt with 3 different people including initially the Internet Manager(Willy Gabbart) at this dealership. I was told on the phone as well as in email that the vehicle I was inquiring about was, and I quo Internet Manager(Willy Gabbart) at this dealership. I was told on the phone as well as in email that the vehicle I was inquiring about was, and I quote word for word from an email of the Internet Manager Willy Gabbart: "The Lincoln Navigator is super clean and there's nothing wrong with it." This was in response to my email to him inquiring about the condition of the truck and I quote word for word from my email: "I am in Austin Texas so a test ride is out of the question. My question is what is your best price on the truck? I am looking for one of these for my transportation company. Please let me know of any cosmetic problems or any other issues the truck has also." I explained on the phone to him (Willy Gabbart - Internet Sales Manager) and to the salesman Pedro (Pedro llapur), that the vehicle has to be excellent shape because we use it to pick up and transport high profile clients, famous actors and entertainers, and business VIP's and transport them to and from their venues. They both assured me that they had personally seen the truck and that it was in excellent shape and that I would be very happy with it. Since I have done this many times before with no issues, I bought the truck. That was over 2 weeks ago. I had a car transporter pick up the truck and bring it here to me in Austin, Texas. When the truck arrived it was VERY clear that it had been in at least one rear end accident. This is a description of the problems: The rear bumper was scraped up and had white paint scratches and paint swirl cracks on it where the collision took place. The bumper piece on the left rear side is buckled and has a half inch gap where it is supposed to fit seamlessly with the sheet metal of the rear quarter panel. I am assuming the fasteners broke when it was wrecked and now the bumper has to be replaced. The front bumper has 4-6 inch swirl paint cracks due to a collision of some sort with the front bumper and was probably worse...as you will see later. There was a 3-4 inch dent in the rear lift gate door as well as other VERY noticeable dings and paint scratches. There are MANY scrapes, scratches and dings in the paint on all 4 sides of the truck. The passenger side mirror was actually barely holding on to the truck with two rusty DRYWALL screws. The mirror was only halfway on the truck. it has a large cracked hole in the plastic of the mirror! The hole is probably close 2 inches around, but according to Willy and the GM ( I was told he is GM but could not confirm) Miguel Ranillo the truck is in great shape and cosmetically excellent. The passenger side rear pillar (top back corner of truck) has a 2-3 inch square of paint chipped off. It will need to be replaced or totally repainted. The font grill of the truck is cracked and broken through in multiple places and just sits in the front of the grill not actually snapped in. It is somewhat loose and would probably fall out if you drove down a reasonably bumpy road for any length of time. The front passenger side headlight is not attached to the vehicle! It actually was just set in the opening and you can pull the headlight all the way out of the truck with your hand from the outside. The connection to the frame is actually snapped in half, which means the truck was obviously in a hard collision in the front as well as rear. The auto extending floor boards on the side of the vehicle do not work at all, and one side was actually unplugged from it's motor. One of the fog lights is actually MISSING and has no mounting bracket for it to be replaced. I called Willy Gabbart andleft a message. I never got a call back. I did not get a call back the next day either after leaving messages for Willy Gabbart or Pedro llapur even though they knew why I was calling. I sent the pictures of the damage. Still no call... I finally got a call several days later from Miguel Ranillo. It then took 2 days for them to acknowledge receiving pictures of the damage to the truck. I got no callbacks or responses from them until I let them know I own a highly successful Internet Marketing companythat knows how to generate a massive amount of negative publicity online. Shortly after I then got a call from the GM, Miguel Ranillo, who proceeded to try to explain to me that it was my own fault and that what his Internet Sales Manager (Willy Gabbart) meant by "The Lincoln Navigator is super clean and there's nothing wrong with it", was that the interior and engine were in perfect shape, just not the exterior. After a short conversation with the general manager Miguel Ranillo about what Willy Gabbart REALLY meant by "The Lincoln Navigator is super clean and there's nothing wrong with it", he then asked me what I wanted to do. I told him that I was a reasonable guy and that I had already gotten a bid to fix all of the issues that would be fairly cheap and that it was only going to cost $1,200. That was much cheaper than taking it to the dealer to fix all of these issues. He told me he would see what he could do and that he would call me back in 20-30 minutes that Friday afternoon. He never called. I called him on the following Monday and still got no return call. When I emailed him explaining what my options were for getting my negative experience out en masse on the Internet, I got a quick call saying he had to talk with the owner of the dealership and that he would call me back that day for sure. I explained that if I did not get the call and settle this issue that day that I was done trying to work it out and would take my cause to the Internet. Needless to say, I got no phone call so here we are. More
Emailed their internet department for a qoute on a new 2013 equinox. Willy gave me the best price in Miami. I took his qoute to 12 other chevy dealers ranging from homestead to Delray and they all told me 2013 equinox. Willy gave me the best price in Miami. I took his qoute to 12 other chevy dealers ranging from homestead to Delray and they all told me that it was impossible for them to give me this deal. I was optimistic I called willy and told him and he said that would be your out of door price no hidden cost. I got to the dealer and worked with salesman Ricardo a true gentleman who knows the true definition of QUALITY customer service. To make it short they actually beat the qouted price by $100 making them the cheapest I could find. This was a TRUE no BS experience. They actually made the process of purchasing a vechicle a pleseant one. I took my final invoice and emailed it to all other dealers who were $2-3k more expensive they are all CROOKS. COme see Lorenzo Chevy for the best deal and the best customer service hands down. go save MONEY buy here More
Bought a car from this dealership and the experience was the best I've ever had when buying a car.Found the exact car I was looking for ,in their website.Honestly their selection is very good .From the mome the best I've ever had when buying a car.Found the exact car I was looking for ,in their website.Honestly their selection is very good .From the moment I got to their place the salesperon brought the car upfront so I didn't have to be walking around,we agreed on the price without much back and forth, the advertised price I had seen was by far the best but they still worked with me some more and gave me some free maintenance.Th finance manager was very helpful and beat my bank rate which I thought it was very low. I have been buying cars for years and hate going to delaerships and wasting time, what I liked the most about Lorenzo Bomnin is there is no waste of time, they have a lot of cars, give you great prices and make the process painless and fast.I went back 2 days later with a minor concern on the car and the guys in Service were great and took care of me right away. I will definitely buy from them again and recomend them to my friends. More
SIDE NOTE: We have all of the pictures, screen shots to back up our experience including the one where they had us cash in the coupon on Google Ads to activate it not to mention a live recording! So her back up our experience including the one where they had us cash in the coupon on Google Ads to activate it not to mention a live recording! So here is the story… We went down to Lorenzo-Bomnin Chevrolet on Friday November 9, 2012 who claims on their website to be a local family owned Miami Chevrolet dealership. After a two hour drive to purchase a Pre-Owned 2012 Limited Ford Explorer advertised at $31,995 on their website, our experience was less than enjoyable to say the least! We specifically called ahead to confirm they had the 2012 and the 2011 Limited Ford Explorers that were both advertised on their website. Pedro from the dealership called back and confirmed they did have both silver with black interior fully loaded with sunroofs so we were on our way! (Told him how far we were driving from because they had 2 of what we were looking for) which ended up NOT being correct NO sunroofs in either of them and they were not “fully” loaded, just basic Limited Model. After arriving and looking at the two vehicles (neither of which had the sunroof we were looking for) we decided on the 2012 Limited Ford Explorer. This vehicle was listed on the internet for $31,995 and offered on the lot for $35,995. They did offer the discounted price of $31,995 we saw on the internet right off without asking for it. We then started the traditional auto negotiations and showed them an internet Google Maps Ad for "20% Off All Pre-Owned Vehicles valid through 11/10/2012." (That popped up immediately when searching for directions to the dealership) Fabio said they had no clue about the ad or if it was valid. So Fabio went to his manager to inquire, came back and said, yes it’s valid but you can't use that for this vehicle because it would be too much off but we could do 10-15%. Upon hearing that, we were immediately on our toes, they didn't say it wasn't valid, they didn't say it says only on certain vehicles they just said we can't use it because they wouldn't make enough money. I said, was unacceptable and not what the ad clearly states: “20% off On All Pre-Owned Vehicles - Valid every day through November 10, 2012.” Fabio said there is nothing else he can do, so we asked to speak to the manager or whoever held responsibility there. After waiting 15 minutes the manager (Miguel Ranilla) was ready to speak with us. He asked us to go into a private office to have this discussion out of the view of customers in the area. His response about the ad was that it was something new the owner was trying out. "So you are going to honor it that’s great!” we said, he replied “No we can't.” So we asked again why they weren't going to honor the 20% ad but again offered the same 12% discount on the advertised price of $35,995 as Fabio did earlier. As any smart consumer would do, we asked... Why would you not honor the price as stated in the ad? Miguel said that he was not able to because there wasn't enough room in the price for them to make enough and that they are now in the process of doing everything they can to revise the ad since we inquired about it to put the fine print in there. He said it was supposed to be 10-20% off with restrictions. Which our reply again was, that’s not our fault and asked if they would honor the ad even if it was their mistake and offer us the advertised price minus the 20% off coupon that stated it could be used on any pre-owned vehicle, he said no. We were being as reasonable as possible after going back and forth for over an hour and we even said it was fine for the coupon to be based off the sticker price not even asking for it to be off the internet price with all info given. There was no budging and he had no validity in his reasons for them not honoring it. We told them, we are very dissatisfied with their unethical way of handling a client’s valid complaint. Miguel then realized we weren't backing down and now it was a matter of principle and tried to backpedal and say they'll give the 20% off the NADA price (of $40,275 on the window in less than half the font size above the OUR PRICE of $35,995.) If the 20% price coupon was off of the book value not the advertise price stated OUR PRICE then this should have been stated in the Google Ad discount advertisement. I feel this is false advertising since their internet price of $31,995 is already less than the NADA price anyway so there really isn't any benefit or discount to the 20% coupon price! N.A.D.A PRICE $40,275 less 20% = $32,220 ~ Internet Advertised Price - $31,995. They are not honoring the coupon, they admitted that the Google Ad was being revised because they made a mistake by not adding the details and fine print and it has since been revised. They admitted that the owner was trying this as a new marketing effort and we can see why they would need more marketing efforts because I'm sure most people would never go back there! It’s so disappointing to see what could have been a simple transaction with rave reviews amongst local business owners can turn out so negative. We all make mistakes but as respectable and lawful business owners, we are supposed to make every effort to correct them when brought to our attention and not at the expense of the consumer. And to date, they have still not done that. Later that evening Miguel after seeing our review on Google and Yelp called back and said he could offer the truck at $29,845 + over $700 in dealer fees. To which our reply is no thank you but we still need a truck and will take it for the advertised price less 20% and their standard dealer fee (plus additional standard fees for plate etc) and we'd wire the entire amount immediately. He said he couldn't but wanted to sell the truck, we said no problem, you can check with whomever you need to and get back to us by Monday morning and we'll still take the truck if they agree to $35,995 less 20% totaling $28,796+stardard fees. As well as reminding him that all this would take to make it right is about $1,000, that we weren't financing and wouldn't have do all this then have to worry if we would get approved for financing. We were considering and had pricing on brand new trucks for $39,000 plus! This wasn't about price, it’s about principle and either way we were buying it outright. He then said he didn't want us posting anymore reviews to which my reply was earlier in the day and still is now - we have the right to inform and educate the public on how unethical they are and with our experience there, even after we gave them plenty of time and opportunity to make it right they still refused and if they didn't like it they should start treating their customers with respect and lawfully honor their own advertisements! We never heard back from Miguel - but - we did hear back from Pedro Saturday afternoon about our customer experience! I couldn't help but laugh when he asked and said their in house communication is as poorly communicated as they're advertising! After reminding him I was the one who called Friday morning to inquire about the two Explorers having sunroofs I then said that’s where it all started to fall apart. He hadn't heard any other follow up and inquired what happened that was so bad, so I told him again. All in all we are astonished that a business would blatantly admit it was their ad, their mistake that they revised it but wouldn't honor it. It’s a disgrace that they give family owned businesses and car dealers a bad name and hope this helps protect other consumers from having the experience and injustice we did! Shame on Lorenzo-Bomnin Chevrolet for False Advertising!!! Oh one last thing... Just in case anyone wonders how technology helps, after we realized how unethical they were being in this matter, I left my phone on to record it! He finally heard me saying feel free to say whatever you'd like because I already told you I'm recording this, he wouldn't even state his name, instead like a coward, wrote it on a piece of paper (feel free to see pic!) lol what a joke! They should be ashamed of themselves and the mockery they make of family businesses! More
I made an appointment on the internet and Merrill Shupnick was there to greet me, he treated me with respect as i did do research on the car to purchase and my trade. The pricing and negotiations w Shupnick was there to greet me, he treated me with respect as i did do research on the car to purchase and my trade. The pricing and negotiations were fair, he explained every item. He also suggested to sit with his Finance mgr to see if they can better my Credit Union offer. Again I was treated excellent by the staff. I went to another dealership closer to my home and was treated poorly with total disregard of my needs. So finding Lorenzo Bomnin was a great place to purchase and service the car. It is not often you find a dealer with such great customer experience. Keep up the good work! More
BEWARE, they will promise to give you the world, but once you sign the purchase order you get it when/if you get it. This is true USED CAR DEALER. The salesmen/salesmanager there will promise you to fix th you sign the purchase order you get it when/if you get it. This is true USED CAR DEALER. The salesmen/salesmanager there will promise you to fix that and do this and that to get the deal. I waited 2 weeks to get my car. They claimed they could not get a part, that was available at another dealership minutes away. I told them were I found it, but they were in no rush to get it, so the car I purchased just sat there for 2 weeks. My temporary tag expired, after calling them for 3 weeks after it expired they finally sent another temporary tag. I did not get my permanent tag until a 2 months after buying the car. I received 1 key when I was promised 2, its been 3 months and I have given up on waiting for the second key. Yes, I saved a couple hundred dollars by buying from them, but it was not worth the headache and aggravation. I would not recommend them, there pricing is not that great, and there service is horrible. Once you sign on the dotted line you are no longer of importance. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM. THEY SUCK!!! More

They advertise new 2012 Equinoxes in the AutoTrader for $20,241. I made the trip based on that, yet when I arrived, they said that for that price you had to have high-priced car insurance from a company th $20,241. I made the trip based on that, yet when I arrived, they said that for that price you had to have high-priced car insurance from a company that they get a commission from, a lease from a non-Chevrolet dealership, member of credit union, and several other hoops to jump through that were not disclosed in the ad. After baiting me to come in with their ad for the new Equinox, they attempted to switch me to used cars without my requesting it. Must get lots of people in the door, but bait and switch is illegal. Big waste of time! More
