He greeted me with the most kindful, professional & observant behavior I've ever seen as a service professional in the automotive service industry. I was truly amazed at how he listen to my every word & every problem that I had with my vehicle. Just to summarize part of it - my transmission was bad, I had bad bushings, CV boot, the battery was bad, my poor car needed a lot of work! The warranty I have only covered a used transmission however, Mark Reader, the service manager contacted Volkwagon and upgraded to a brand-new transmission! The service manager went above and beyond the call of duty to replace so many things including a brand new transmission, battery, cv boot and more on my 2008 Passat! My car now drives, truly, like a brand-new car again! The service was fast, friendly, honest, and priced fairly. Most important, my car was fixed right the first time. I would highly recommend the Bommarito Volkswagen in Hazelwood, Missouri for your repairs. And if ever you consider making a vehicle purchase go there. They have great cars, they're honest, & a large waiting area with drinks and free wi-fi! Best part though is the friendly service that you get and the repairs are completed quickly and correctly! I called Bommarito and talked with Paul Fix and from the very moment I spoke to him; he provided assurance, excellent customer service, followed up with me consistently on where things stood with my repair. The bottom line is Paul went above and beyond what I could have ever expected from anyone, at any dealership to make sure I had peace of mind during this process. Thanks to Mark Reader who filled in when Paul was away. These guys are AMAZING!!!! More

I am highly satisfied with the service and the service department team.. The quality of the work has been excellent and the price has been reasonable. Plus knowing the work is being done by qualified VW tech is reassuring. The team is very honest, there was a crack in my radiator fan and the team was not sure if they caused it or not, but the replaced it free of charge. Not many shops would do that. They also work with you with helping make the repair cost reasonable and helping where they can. Over the years I have moved to many states and had work done by other VW dealers, with not much luck. This is the first dealership that I can actually say I trust. Plus they always offer a loaner car. I will always bring my VW's to Bommarito Hazelwood. Any new purchases will be made there as well. They're the best in the St. Louis area. More
Outside Extended Auto Ins. Warranty Co. Denied Repair Claim I had an extended auto insurance warranty on my Volkswagen Passat from a company that was NOT affiliated with Bommarito Volkswagen of Hazelwood. I too I had an extended auto insurance warranty on my Volkswagen Passat from a company that was NOT affiliated with Bommarito Volkswagen of Hazelwood. I took my car to Bommarito Volkswagen of Hazelwood for repairs. After finding out what the problem was, Bommarito contacted the warranty company to get an approval to have repairs made and paid for by the warranty company. The warranty company did not want to stand behind their warranty as stated in their warranty booklet and denied the claim for repairs. This went on for months that my car was in the shop because the extended warranty insurance co. denial to my claim. With the help, dedication and the professionalism of the staff and team of people at Bommarito Volkswagen of Hazelwood, my claim was overturned and my car was repaired and paid for by the extended insurance warranty company. Because of the dedication, loyalty and customer satisfaction that the Bommarito staff and their team of professional people standby and show to their customers, I will forever be a customer of Bommarito Volkswagen of Hazelwood and will recommend this Dealership to others. Paul Fix at Bommarito does a great job of showing empathy and helping you understand that some things you can't put off. So many other dealerships make you feel as though putting $500 to 1,000 dollars in routine maintenance fees is ... well ... routine. And if you can't afford to get it done - you shouldn't have bought a decent car. NOT SO with Paul and the Bommarito Volkswagon Dealership. I always feel like they understand that I want to take care of the car, but some things I just have to spread out. Great Team at this dealership. More

I have been looking for a Rabbit for a long time. I finally found one I liked at a local Honda dealer, however Honda's aren't Volkswagen's, and they messed the little car up badly. I dealt with Anne Kuehl today and she was awesome! I was in for my 20K Oil Change & Cabin Filter replacement for my 2012 VW Golf MK6 TDI. She kept me informed on the progress of my car and didn't mind at al in for my 20K Oil Change & Cabin Filter replacement for my 2012 VW Golf MK6 TDI. She kept me informed on the progress of my car and didn't mind at all even though I was in a rush and had to ask for myself. She also said she would mail me the copy of my service documentation to my home address and I really appreciate that. I felt comfortable talking with Anne and she was very friendly and I knew she was being honest with me at all times. The dealership was also very clean and all the personnel were friendly. I also really enjoyed sitting in the Customer Lounge as it was very clean & tidy and had nice leather chairs and a 60" LCD TV. They also had free coffee, donuts, ice cream as well as vending machines. I would recommend Anne and the dealership to all my family and friends. I purchased my VW from Bommarito Auto Group, and expected to have excellent repair service when required. I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I took in my car for a grinding noise from the clu to have excellent repair service when required. I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I took in my car for a grinding noise from the clutch. After waiting for diagnosis, they inform me that they did hear the same issue and I need a new clutch; but also, while they were driving it, the slave cylinder coincidentally malfunctioned and the car is now inoperable. I can't even leave the dealership! They were quick to point out that this was unrelated to my initial concern, but also unrelated to any diagnostic work they did on the car; it just "happened to go out" during their short. I argued that the specific parts needing repair should be covered under the power train warranty, but they declined. I contacted VW of America and three days later, after speaking to three different people there, the parts and labor were all covered. So Bommarito has my car for one week now. I get a call saying it's done, but while they had it, they dented a body panel so they have to keep it for one more week and send it to their body shop. Fine.... this entire time they provided a rental car through Enterprise, as many dealerships do. During the two weeks that Bommarito has my car for repair, Enterprise calls me twice saying the dealer put in a closing rental date and I had to return it that day by 6pm or be charged fees. It was up to me to call Enterprise and Bommarito to resolve this. Also, Enterprise charged me $250 for insurance, which I clearly declined on the agreement. I told them to pull out their contract that I signed and look at it, but they insisted that Bommarito has the contract; they don't keep the hard copy. When I told Bommarito to look at the contract, they said Enterprise had it. Again, it was up to me to resolve this between Enterprise and Bommarito. After 14 days, Bommarito tells me the car is done. I pick it up and as I drive off, there is a terribly loud rattle coming from under the car. It was after 6pm now so I couldn't return it until the next business day. I make another trip to the service dept. and they identify that something was not fully tightened. Had they driven the car once around the parking lot before handing it over to me, they would have noticed this. Approximately 30 days after this entire ordeal, Enterprise charged me an additional $60 (now totaling $310 for the car Bommarito provided me), saying Bommarito did not cover the rental for the full time I had it (i.e. entire time my car was being serviced) - yet an additional hassle on me because the two companies cannot communicate effectively to one another and I have to resolve their errors.. This should have been a quick job: "Yes, there's an issue here. It's covered under power train warranty. We'll have it done in three days." Instead, it took three days for the repair and 12 extra days during which I had to argue my rights to VW of America, I had to dispute $310 in fees for the rental the dealer gave me, I had to wait while it was in the body shop fixing a body panel they damaged, and then take off work and return again because they overlooked an obvious issue. There were just too many failures during this lengthy period of service to conclude that they are isolated examples. More
I went in to get a ECM update on my 2013 CC and the service tech "FRIED" my computer in the car. I called on January 3rd and got the run-around before finally being told the new ECM wouldn't be in until January 9th at the earliest. Meanwhile, my car is sitting outside the dealer with snow all over it and not with me so I can drive and enjoy the car I purchased. I have emailed three times, called Tom and Kim in service several times, and called the customer care number to get the problem resolved quickly. The next step will be the Better Business Bureau and file a compliant. More
