Worst experience ever I bought a 2011 TDI with the extended emissions warranty. The day I drove the car off the lot the transmission gave me numerous issues. It took 3 trip I bought a 2011 TDI with the extended emissions warranty. The day I drove the car off the lot the transmission gave me numerous issues. It took 3 trips back to the dealer to ultimately resolve the issue. Fast forward a month, I have engine codes related to the extended emissions warranty. I call and schedule service and was told I would have a loaner vehicle available for me. I asked for this specifically because I have a 1 hour drive to the dealer. I get there, there is no loaner car waiting for me. It was right on the front page of the extended emissions warranty coverage that a loaner car must be provided for any warranty service lasting longer than 3 hours. They wanted to shuttle me over to enterprise for a rental. Waited 30 minutes, still no shuttle. Had to leave for work. Took my car and left. The service department is unorganized and lacking communication. I work in a shop and the run-around excuses and work this dealership has done in the 4 visits I’ve had here is unacceptable. There are some nice people working here, but your time is not a concern for them. Go elsewhere. More
Quick & Easy I went in for a tire rotation and to check my transmission (I thought it was slipping, turned out to be fine). Please take the time to read this review My husband and I own a 2016 VW Golf. We love the car and have very little to complain about. The aluminum trim attached to the center consel split. This split aluminum created a razor sharp slicing machine. It was so sharp you would feel nothing to soon realize blood is gushing out of your finger. After almost 10 slices to our fingers we connected what was cutting us. Within the factory 3 year -36,000 mile warranty this repair wouldn't be an issue I assumed. Bommarito VW of Hazelwood wouldn't attempt to warranty it. They have gone threw 3 service managers in only a few months, and several service advisors. No one knows how to do there job and they is no manager to take charge. I went to another VW services department. They claimed the $450 part should have been fixed under the warranty. Unfortunately, by this time I went over the mileage, so its no longer under the warranty coverage. Also, Bommarito didn't even document the appointment properly so we could prove what happened and tht the mileage and coverage was within the correct time frame. They avoided sending me the survey for the appointment. Instead Bommarito VW sent me an email that claimed I canceled my appointment to avoid a bad review in a survey because survey scores alter their compensation from the Manufacture. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but there. Good Luck!!!!! More

The staff was very friendly and understanding. Brittany / Service Consultant was awesome!, she went above and beyond, explained in detail what the problem was, called us with updates, and had the car ready before the time frame we had expected. She really lighten the load! We had a great first experience at Bommarito, and very much appreciate Britany's help. We were afraid it would cost us a fortne to get out card fixed at the dealer, but what a nice surprise, we are very satisfied with thier service and prices. More

poor customer service by dealership and VW corporate. VW TDI under warrenty stuck in gear. dealership refused to call for tow to dealership (I'm deaf) called roadside service.. they were waste of ti VW TDI under warrenty stuck in gear. dealership refused to call for tow to dealership (I'm deaf) called roadside service.. they were waste of time 45 minutes and i still couldn't get them to come out they couldn't find address etc etc..I got pissed and hung up.. went to dealership spoke Marc Gaby he called and got the cat towed. opps when tow truck came they couldn't tow it as it was stuck in gear (no start condition) had to get another type tow truck to tow it.. next day VW can't look at car till maybe tommorow or maybe late today.. requested a loaner. nope sorry but they can get me a rental but i'd have to pay $35 a day . I told them no! now I just signed up with Hagen Berman for the TDI lawsuit VW can buy the xxx car back! More
Poor Service, AGAIN If I could have given them a no stars rating I would have. I bought a brand new car from them on 3/21/16, VW Passat. I have 20,000 mi on the vehicle If I could have given them a no stars rating I would have. I bought a brand new car from them on 3/21/16, VW Passat. I have 20,000 mi on the vehicle and the brake pads & rotter's need to be replaced, they are only covered up to 12,000 miles, of course. As I explained to Mike White, my sales person, no one has to replace their brake pads & rotter's at 20,000 unless is something wrong with them to begin with. The past 2 new vehicles I owned had over 100,000 miles on them when I traded them in, never had to replace the rotter's on either one of them but they weren't Volkswagen. I drive over 100 miles daily, high way miles, not in town driving. I purchased the extended warranty but that doesn't do any good since they are both considered consumable items. I will be contacting Volkswagen directly concerning this issue. I guess I should have known not to expect anything from Bommarito VW since I had such horrible service from Bommarito Nissan several years ago. I bought a brand new Nissan Altima from them several years ago and had an oil issue that they could never fix then I find out that it is a known issue and that Nissan was replacing the engines in the vehicles affected but when I contacted Bommarito I was told there wasn't anything they could do because my serial # was outside of the recall #'s. Even though it was the same oil issue. I guess I will be stuck with this car for a few years just like the Nissan but I guarantee you that I will never buy from Bommarito again, and I will make sure everyone I know hears my story.
