Moreover, because purchases of this magnitude are unique (had not purchased a car for over 13 years) and stressful it was refreshing and reassuring to have dealt with a such a competent salesperson. There was absolutely no misrepresentation of the information gleaned from the website, and he actually listened and responded respectfully to many of our trivial concerns. I would give them a negative number if I could. They have the poorest customer service my son and I have ever seen. We purchased a warranty on a used vehicle, but the finance person neglected to tell have the poorest customer service my son and I have ever seen. We purchased a warranty on a used vehicle, but the finance person neglected to tell us there was a $250.00 deductible. The check engine light came on 2 days after the car was purchased. We found out through another shop it is a thermostat. The cost to repair is $130.00, so it's not covered by the warranty. They offered to pay half the cost of repair if we brought it to them. The car is in Springfield, IL and the used car person doesn't work on Saturday which is the only day the car can be brought in for repair. Aside from that, there's gas back and forth, so how do we benefit from that!?!? This was obviously an issue before the car was purchased, but they don't want to make it right. The sale paperwork was done hastily since it was close to closing. Not a lot of time for questions. They just wanted to make the sale and be done with us. Kevin didn't mention vanity plates could be purchased at the time of the sale for an additional small fee. This may sound pretty, but they neglected to fill the tank when they said it is customary to do that. When my son asked, Andy said he didn't know where to fill the car. He said he would send us a gas card. We still do not have a gas card after I asked about it twice in 2 weeks. Spoke with both Andy and Kyle about the card.... Bottom line....they are sloppy. Apparently everyone is new and claims to know nothing and they don't keep their word. More
