Andy was very helpful. We called looking for a manual Jetta and when we got there he had just pulled one around for us to test drive. Unprofessional/No Communication I started the buying process and received a quote that I committed to buy the vehicle. I informed them of a large amount I could put down on the vehi I started the buying process and received a quote that I committed to buy the vehicle. I informed them of a large amount I could put down on the vehicle. At no time was I told that I needed to put money down. I was forwarded the credit application. I asked if the credit check would create a "hard" hit on my credit and they explained that this type of credit check would, which I understood. I take my credit history very serious and always monitor it for fraud. I have an above 800 credit score. Just shortly after submitting my credit application I received notification from my credit monitor that there had been an inquiry, so I was excited and anxious to make plans to finalize the process and pick up the vehicle. All day I never heard back from anyone. I text the number that the associate had text me from to ask about an update on the process. I never received anything back. I then called that number and it said it had been disconnected. I then called the dealership number and asked for the associate and was sent to voice mail in which I left a message. Over 24 hours had passed and I called again the next morning and left another voice message. I finally called again and spoke to someone explaining the messages I had left and the associate would not return my messages. This person says, "You want to know why they won't call you". Of course I said yes. He said because they sold the truck last night. This was to to someone that just showed up. Out of all this time, approximately 3 days, they run my credit, which puts a hit on my credit report and then no communication what so ever. If not for my persistence, I would not have found out anything. In speaking with the Sales Manager, Mr. Skyles he said he was hired just a month ago to come in and take care of stuff like this, that I was not the first person this had happened to. I went from looking forward to picking up my new vehicle to being so bewildered and shocked that this actually happened. BE WARE More
