I purchased a new 2010 VW CC on December 22, 2009. Chuck Thomson, my saleman, asked me what I was looking for and guided me to vehicle that best fit my needs. Chuck displayed excellent knowledge of the VW brand and showed professionalism and integrity throughout the sales process. A few days after I had a chance to drive my new vehicle, Chuck contacted me to make sure that not only was I satisfied with my purchase, but also, made sure that I was having fun driving it. The 2010 VW CC is an amazing vehicle! The drive is superb and the exterior and interior of the vehicle is gorgeous. Not only did Chuck follow-up again with a nice "thank you" card, he also mailed me an unexpected "thank you"- a delicious box of chocolate chip cookies. I was suprised and delighted by his gesture. About a week after driving my new vehicle, we experienced sub-zero temperatures in St. Louis and my new vehicle one morning would not start. I contacted Ann Kuehl in the service department and she took immediate ownership of the issue. Ann showed concern and immediately began to research the issue. As it turns out, some of the 2010 VW CC vehicles had been manufactured with moisture in the starer and when temperatures drop below freezing temperatures, the moisture in the starter freezes, thus prohibiting the vehicle from starting. Ann quickly obtained a new starter and it was replaced to my satisfaction. A week after I had the starter replaced, a truck on the highway launched a rock straight at my front windshield and cracked it. I contacted Rick Bresnahan in the service department and he, like Ann, showed concern and took ownership of the issue. Rick quickly located a new windshield, quoted a fair price to have it replaced, and offered me a loaner vehicle to use while the windshield was being replaced. He exemplified professionalism and a true dedication to customer satisfaction. When I was having the windshield replaced, again, Ann Kuehl showed concern, kept in contact, and made sure that I was satisfied with their service. Needless to say, I was more than satisfied! Don, who washed my car both times that I have brought my vehicle into their service department, has also been a pleasure to work with. Not only did Don wash the exterior of my vehicle, he also showed me that he detailed the interior and placed my new license plates on the vehicle. As an added bonus at Bommarito VW Hazelwood, there is a complimentary Starbuck's machine that offers fresh coffee and hot chocolate and there is fresh fruit to enjoy. Chuck, Ann, Rick, and Don are an asset to Bommarito VW Hazelwood. They exemplify superior customer service, professionalism, knowledge, integrity, and most of all, a love of what they do. Bommarito VW Hazelwood will be highly recommended to my family, friends, and collegues for their next vehicle purchase and service needs. I purchased a 2009 Toyota Corolla from Bommarito Volkswagen of Hazelwood in November of 2009. The bumper to bumper warranty from Toyota was expired since it had over 36,000 miles on it but Bommarit Volkswagen of Hazelwood in November of 2009. The bumper to bumper warranty from Toyota was expired since it had over 36,000 miles on it but Bommarito guaranteed me their own 30 day bumper to bumper warranty. About a week after I bought the car I noticed that there was some vibration in the steering column and the heater wasn't working properly, so I contacted my salesman. I took the car in to have it looked at and then spoke to the pre-owned sales manager Joe. He informed me that I had 2 bent wheels and that they would order the parts to fix them. He also told me that they were going to look into the heater problem and maybe discuss it with Toyota since it was barely past warranty. Shortly thereafter I also noticed that I wasn't even given a spare tire! I called Joe back and was told I would get a tire when I brought my car back in for service. Roughly a week to 10 days later the parts came in and I took the car back to them. They fixed the wheels and then informed me I needed a new blower switch for my heater, but they weren't going to cover that since I "didn't mention it within my 30 day warranty," which was totally incorrect! After a week of negotiating it finally took a very nasty e mail from my father for them to agree to repair the heater. After 2 1/2 weeks I finally got my car back yesterday and again I am completely disappointed! Not only was there still no spare tire, but where they had removed my dash was nicked and scratched and not just a little, extremely obvious, not to mention that when the part was put back on they installed it OVER the antennae wire to my XM radio so that I can't remove it from my car. I plan on taking the car back again this afternoon and demanding they repair what they messed up but I highly doubt I will have any luck. This dealership does not stand behind their work or their warranty. This was my first car purchase and it was supposed to be a great experience for me but it has been nothing short of a complete nightmare! I've made 2 car payments now and I've been actually able to drive my car for less than a month! They saw a chance to unload a lemon on a young unsuspecting female and they took it. I've never felt so insulted in my life! I will never buy from Bommarito again if this is what I would have to look forward to. More
