I am a member of STLVW and when it came time for my 40k DSG service I contacted Tom Hinkemeyer from Bommarito Hazelwood to setup a time for my maintenance and we worked out a date that worked for me. When I got to the dealership everybody I dealt with was very nice and the facilites there at the dealership were great (I waited at the dealership for the service to be completed). I am a computer programmer and I was able to use the secure wifi at the dealership to work remotely from the waiting lounge. Free starbucks coffee was provided as well as free donuts (service was scheduled for 7am). The DSG maintenance took 2 hours to complete and during the 2 hour wait a tech would randomly provide updates as to when the service would be complete and keep me posted on their progress. When the service was complete I got to chit chat with TOm and one of the techs about cars and VW news. When all was said and done my car was returned back to me after they washed my car for free, so my car returned back to me even BETTER than I had given it to them. Overall I was VERY satisfied with my experience at Bommarito Hazelwood. I live in South County St Louis and driving the extra distance to get to this dealership was well worth it. More

I went to Bommarito Volkswagen looking to order a Golf TDI configured the way I wanted. They were the only dealer in the Region that said they could do that, when I called. Charlie gave me tonnes of information regarding not just the car I was interested in (Jetta) but also the overall car buying policy. He presented me with a lot of options but at no point did I feel overwhel the car I was interested in (Jetta) but also the overall car buying policy. He presented me with a lot of options but at no point did I feel overwhelmed by all the information. I am in the process of selecting a new car, actually in the mid-size segment. I checked out the Jetta because it has almost as much leg room as an Accord or Sonata, a factor that matters a lot to me. But after checking out several other dealers, I found that the price of the Jetta is comparable to a Camry or a Sonata. Hence, the '4' on the price review. As for Charlie, he was Incredibly helpful. 6 stars for him!! More

How can you not respect a business for that?! We have a couple other cars and are currently wondering if we will trade one for another VW. We went to Bommarito Volkswagon looking for a specific used car they advertised on autotrader. We told Geoff we would be coming in the next day around 11 am and when we got there he had the car waiting used car they advertised on autotrader. We told him we wanted to take it for a test drive and he let us take it right away, on our own. When we decided we wanted it, he gave us a copy of the carfax and reviewed all similar models on autotrader to compare the price. For our trade in, he gave us about $500 dollars more than we expected. Was overall a great experience. More

Les is impressively knowledgable of the product he sells.He pays attention to his customer's needs and wishes, instead of just 'feeding' you some rehearsed sales hype. Normally salesmen are so wrapped up in 'making' the sale, they don't pay attention to the actions and reactions of their customers. Les clearly picked up on the fact that I'm the 'vehicle' person in the family and communicated with each of us appropriately.Dealing with Les has been absolutely wonderful! My husband and I have been loyal Acura customers for many years. Les's description of Volkswagen and the Hazelwood Bommarito goals and pursuits impressed us so much that my husband plans to trade his Acura for a Volkswagen next year. It's wonderful to have a feeling of trust in a salesperson and the dealership he represents.I would also like to note that the dealership is 66 miles from our home with at least 2 'other' dealerships closer to us than Bommarito Hazelwood. It was definitely worth the trip and the subsequent trips we will make for service there. Paris was charming, efficient and knowledgable. We didn't spend as much time with him, but we were impressed with his kindness and professionalism. You don't expect to laugh and smile when spending time with the 'financial guy' at the dealership, but we did! Overall we were very impressed with everyone we have encountered thus far at this dealership. We have shopped at 2 other VW dealerships and did not have the level of confidence we felt at the Bommarito Hazelwood dealership. Thank you! More
