Chuck Thomson was very friendly and prompt when it came to purchasing my VW Eos. He went out of his was to accommidate my schedule by comin in on his day off to help me purchase my car. When I first talked to my sales consultant, Les Johnson, I was inquiring about availability of Beetle Bugs. He spent a lot of time with me on the phone and offered to check around to other dealers and call I was inquiring about availability of Beetle Bugs. I scheduled an appointment with him the next day. When we met he was courteous, friendly and had full knowledge of every vehicle. He introduced us to the staff we would be working with in the future and we found out we even get free car washes for life. We felt we got a totally fair trade-in value of our mini-cooper. It was the exact price we had in mind before going there. I mentioned we had some extra side mirror covers we left at our house and he even volunteered to pick them up on his way home. Can't say anything unfavorable. The waiting area was very nice and the whole place had a great feel. I'm sure we will work with Les again, since we have always liked the VW product. It is my 6th VW product. More

I never felt pressured at all, and everyone was very helpful, friendly, and eager to get me the perfect car. I knew exactly what car, colors, options, and extras I wanted when I came in, and Dave immediately took notes and began a search for my ideal vehicle. The nearest perfect match was several states away, but Bommarito had it brought in for me within a few days. I love my new car, as it is exactly what I wanted. Contrast my Bommarito experience with a different dealership, where the salesman repeatedly ignored my preferences and was only interested in getting me to buy something that day, even though they didn't have what I wanted in stock. That was the experienced I worried I would have, but Bommarito was absolutely excellent. When time came for my first scheduled service, the service department was friendly and easy to schedule an appointment with. They ran everything quickly and repeatedly kept me updated with progress. While I was waiting, Dave (my salesman a few months earlier) heard that I was in and came over to chat with me for a while. I feel more like a well-loved member of the Bommarito family than I feel like just another customer. My experiences with both sales and service departments have all been excellent, and I wholeheartedly recommend Bommarito as a result. More

My daughter was purchasing her first car. Jeff, the internet salesperson, was very friendly and helpful. We weren't pressured and he made us a great deal. I went to this dealership looking for a good used car and they worked out a great deal for me to buy a new Honda Civic. Because I picked up a nail in a tire the very first day, I used the VW roadside assistance on a Sunday morning, and then the service center on Monday, under time pressure because I had to do a road trip the next day. Everyone was very accommodating with that experience. A great help. Everyone I worked with at this dealership had a common characteristic: decency. That can't be said about everyone in the car business. I've only had one car-buying experience that was of this class, and that was buying a very expensive Jaguar. This purchase involved a much smaller dollar amount, but you could not tell that from the treatment I received from Bommarito Volkswagen. Thanks, everyone! Oh, the car, a Jetta Sportwagen, is great, too. I can report it will absorb a string bass, mandolin, cello, English Springer Spaniel, his and my luggage, with no worries at all. The entertainment/communication package on this one seems to have everything except cable TV. The first road trip averaged 27.1 mpg. Not bad for a fully loaded vehicle, and it still had plenty of useful power for highway travel and pickup for Windy City traffic. I would recommend these individuals and this dealership to anyone without reservation. --Jim Eaton More
