Not only did they of course give me a great deal, but the attention to detail to make sure I understood everything throughout the process was exceptional. For years our organization has had to scour the internet and local parts dealers because of the stigma which dealerships have always had about being too expensive, and not helpful. Well Bommarito has certainly come forward to change that stigma. Not only do they offer competitive prices for parts and service, but they have become the helpful dealership. As I've told many people, I was treated like royalty from the moment I set foot inside Bommarito Volkswagen three months ago. I was back there just a few days ago for my six-month courtesy inspection and got the moment I set foot inside Bommarito Volkswagen three months ago. I was back there just a few days ago for my six-month courtesy inspection and got a chance to talk with all the guys again. Everyone there is a car nut and also very professional. Sales is a big part of my business so I like to think I know a good salesman when I encounter one and Joe Kovacic is THE MAN without a doubt. When I walked in I met Joe and told him that I was looking for a GTI. I knew all about them already. I read everything I could about the car online and researched owners' opinions and comparisons. Joe could sense this and consequently didn't waste my time detailing the anti-lock brakes, traction control, gearbox, or anything else that I already knew about. Instead, he did what an excellent salesperson should: he made me comfortable enough to buy. I'd been looking at other cars before the GTI. I looked at the Evo and at the STI. I went to three dealerships for test drives and was very unimpressed with the associates who assisted me. During test drives the salespeople from these dealers stared out the passenger windows and made no attempts to carry on conversations or get to know me and the few questions they asked were about how soon I'd be ready to pull the trigger on a car and what they'd have to do to make it happen. When Joe let me drive a GTI he got in and asked me about my Prius, the car I was presently driving, and from then on we talked about everything from cars to careers to kids to prescription eyewear. He knew I didn't come in blind to the specs of the car. He knew I'd done my research. Consequently he just hung out with me and got to know me. He made me more comfortable than any other auto salesperson I'd dealt with, comfortable enough to buy a car! And normally that would be it. He'd have done his job, I'd have signed the papers and been on my way. But then I went back to the dealership to buy some extra coolant and as I walked in I saw Joe and he started talking with me about something we'd not finished discussing the day I bought the car. I got to see that Joe wasn't just going through calculated motions the day I bought my car; rather, talking with people is clearly something he enjoys and he's successful because those skills are a boon in his line of work! Additionally, as a member of STLVW I got to talk with Kevin Hall and find out just how cool a guy he is; we're such a strong car club because of his support! He'll bend over backwards to take care of the club and I have absolutely no doubt that he'd do the same for anyone else. More
