I write software used throughout the automotive industry, and have had employee discounts with GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Mercedes, and many more so I'm used to walking in without much stress to agree on a price. Our first VW purchase was before my company had the VW partner program, and I was very stressed about negotiations until we met Joe at the Hazelwood Volkswagen location. Other dealers had quoted us much higher prices for the same model cars, but the Hazelwood VW invoice pricing structure made it easy. The invoice prices are available on their website, so you could pick the car you knew you could afford without playing games. Joe worked to get me a great deal on my trade in, and I couldn't have been happier! My company has since been added to the VW partner discount program, so this second purchase used the employee discount purchase program. The employee discount wasn’t much less than the everyday prices at the Hazelwood dealership. Even with knowing our price was the same (via the employee discount) at any dealership, we still went back to Joe for great customer service, plus they add in some extra perks like free car washes, extra oil changes, dent repair etc. Joe also worked to make my paperwork painless. I filled out the financing app online, and faxed him my paperwork (VW Partner voucher, paystubs, and insurance card) so when I arrived to pick up the car, all I had to do was sign and drive. :) Shop around if you like, but if you're ready to buy... save yourself money and stress and go to Bommarito VW in Hazelwood. The finance gentleman was new and kept trying to "push" the service contract. Although I understand the posible need for extending the warranty with the service contract. I am willing to "self insure" for the amount of money it was going t cost. The finance man did not want to take no for an answer. But, our overall experience with Bommaritto VW was awesome. I recently purchased a 2010 VW Jetta from Bommarito Hazelwood. I saw a Jetta on Cars.com that I liked and called to see if it was still available. Throughout the entire process Geoff was VERY patient. I had a lot of questions and I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to big purchases. Geoff never once made me feel bad for asking so many questions or for voicing my concerns regarding financing through my credit union. I was glad that Geoff was easy and straight-forward to negotiate with. He respected our privacy when my husband and I wanted to discuss our options. When we went to pick up our car I was surprised by how in-depth Geoff explained everything about our car and even setup the Bluetooth to our phones!
