Buyer Beware This will be a long review- but well worth the read if you are shopping for a vehicle. I dislike the fact this dealership will even get a single star This will be a long review- but well worth the read if you are shopping for a vehicle. I dislike the fact this dealership will even get a single star from me. I have purchased a few vehicles from dealerships and this was by FAR the very worst experience I have ever had. I went into the dealership February 8th, 2017 (WED) to purchase a 2012 Ford Explorer- Limited package. Test drove it, seemed fine the few miles we drove it. Upon examining the vehicle, the back-control panel for the 3rd row seating stopped working. Sorlee (our sales associate) took it to their service office where the service tech advised her it needed to be replaced. Sorlee told us she couldn’t sell the car (Due to state laws) without fixing it first. We agreed and placed in our documents that they would order the part and I would bring the car in to be repaired once the part was in. Easy enough right? No. The part hasn’t been ordered and the manager states its bc (my fiancé said he fixed it).. no my finance wiggled a couple wires and the seats were able to move back up… not fixed. I live 2 hours from the dealership, Upon the drive home the TPMS sensor light came on. I figured it had something to do with the differing temperatures outside the past couple days… continued to drive home and the entire front end started shaking. The next morning took it to the Ford dealership in my town and they advised the front breaks wouldn’t had ever left their lot in the condition it was in- the front rotors were bad- and the TPMS sensor was bad…. $1,000 dollars worth of repairs. Keep in mind it was drove straight from the dealership to this ford dealership. My fiancé and I called and called Bommarito Volkswagen for them to repair it. After I whole day of calling- literally every number we could find we finally got a hold of the right person to get things situated. The sent someone to me, exchanged cars- gave me a rental car and took mine to the shop to fix it. While the driver was here to pick my vehicle up I asked if he would look into the keyless entry for me since it was not working as well. He said he would. I thought everything was fine….. An entire week went by without my vehicle. I was in touch with Randy Graves- Manager of the Volkswagen dealership (from what I was told) and he continually told me I would have my car the next day, then the next day… so on and so forth. I had to call literally a few times a day every day because no one would advise me what was going on with my car, if it were breaks they shouldn’t need the vehicle for the whole week right?? Mark finally gave me a call back from the service department told me what the hold up was.. they replaced breaks, did something with the rotors and had to change the module for the keyless entry because it was bad. Great, was thinking they were finally helping me out!! Got the car, the TPMS light was still on, advised the driver to call his manager right away and advise them the light came back on while he was driving it back down to me. He did (this was a Friday) the manager advised the driver to tell me to call him that following Monday and he will get it taken care of for me…. I called, and called, and called again. It was Thursday until I finally got an EMAIL, Mark had told me to take the car to the dealership near me, pay for it, then they will reimburse me. Right…. Took the car, got the light fixed sent the bill- never a call back. Got my title in the mail to see that there was a note stating there wasn’t a current inspection on this vehicle….. OK (thought that was illegal) The following day- have drove the car now about a week- I put my car in park and there’s light flashing on the dash stating the “Shift to Park”.. I texted Randy (the manager I have been dealing with) the picture of what is going on. He had no answer for me. He continually tells me that it is a used car with lots of miles and he has already gone above and beyond for me and what he normally does. I stated I have only driven the car for a week- they had it an entire week themselves and it shouldn’t be giving me this much trouble. This is why I chose BUYING IT from A DEALERSHIP to begin with. We got into a screaming match over the phone- he told me he would call me in the morning, I had asked for a refund of the vehicle since it seems to just be patched up and shipped off to the next person. It has been a solid week and a day later and guess what… no call. This is not how you run a business. You go above and beyond to help a customer out…. I have a 30 day warranty on the vehicle but getting them to answer or call back is a huge laugh…. So now I have a broken third row seat, A mal functioning shifter and out of my pocket for new TPMS sensor and repair…. Today I owned the vehicle one month. Buyer BEWARE- Will never suggest this dealership to anyone. More

We found a car we were interested in buying while searching on line. Mark Roberts was our dealer sales person. From the moment we met him he exuded confidence we would be able to make a deal. Not the high pressure "What's it gonna take to get you in this baby…" smarmy sales pitch, but the confidence of a person that knows he can make everyone happy. We had gone to a metro-east Automall for the same car a year older. Not only did that place make us wait while info was put into the system, they insulted our intelligence when it came to price negotiation but just moving numbers around and actually trying to charge us more. Mark Roberts got us a higher trade-in, met our price and we were done and on the road quicker than ANY auto purchase we have ever had. Go see Mark Roberts and you will be more than happy with the results. You will actually be pleased. More

After owning my Passat and enjoying the ride quality and s I have been searching for a new vehicle as I waited for my TDI to be purchased back by VW. After owning my Passat and enjoying the ride quality and styling of the vehicle I decided that I wanted to purchase another Volkswagen. For the past year I had been talking with Joe off and on about GTIs and other VW offerings. He was never pressing or pushy throughout this very long process of waiting for the right time that corresponded with my TDI turn in and purchasing a new vehicle. Always kind, courteous, and to the point - If i purchase another VW or from another Bommarito dealer I will be coming to talk to Joe. More

26 Days to get Title, Inspection & NO internet sales credit First of all, I found the car on Cargurus and the listing said to ask for internet sales and get an additional $250 off, but they wouldn't honor that First of all, I found the car on Cargurus and the listing said to ask for internet sales and get an additional $250 off, but they wouldn't honor that credit. I didn't like it and had the choice to leave, but I thought it was still a good buy. Second, I bought the car under the premise that I would get a passing Safety and Emissions inspection. They had one in hand but couldn't give it to me because it will be shipped to me with the title paperwork. The date on the inspection was Nov 10, 2016 meaning the expiration would be Jan 10, 2017. They assured me that I would have the paperwork in time to get the car licensed. The purchase date was Dec 30, 2016. Now it's been 23 days since I bought the vehicle and have contacted them 3 times to find out where the paperwork is and emailed them once. I left messages to call me at a work number during the day and cell number after that. They called my home phone once and said to call back to schedule the inspections, because the original inspection had expired. No mention to the title paperwork. I have called back twice since then asking about the title paperwork and have had no response. I have purchased cars from Lou Fusz for the last 25 years and never had problems like this. I should have never left Lou Fusz. It's now Jan 22, 2017 and my temp plates expire in 6 days and no hope of getting the paperwork and inspections from Bommarito in that time. If I do, it will be at my expense and vacation time from work. Mine was a cash sale of all things. Do yourself a favor, stay clear. This was an AS IS sale and I knew that going into it, but had to replace the Alternator for $400 fourteen days after the sale. May not be their fault, but just adds to the frustration of them not providing what they agreed to. ---------------------- I finally reached the salesperson on Jan 24, 2017. He told me the main office (Bommarito Honda) did not send out the paperwork because the inspections had expired. Why didn't they call me? Why did it take me several attempts to contact them to find out where the title paperwork is? During this conversation, I was told to bring the car in the next day between noon and 3 pm and they could get the inspection done. I showed up at Bommarito VW in Hazelwood at 12:30 pm for the inspection and waited. At 2:00 pm the service writer comes out to tell me one of the other shops did the original inspection and they were going to come over and pick it up, perform the inspection and bring it back. I got upset with this. I thought she was bringing me the keys and paperwork. I walked out to the Salesperson and told him to get me new temp plates (because mine were about to expire) and get my keys because I don't have anymore time today and will have to come back. This was my lunch hour that took 1.5 hours to find out they wouldn't do the inspection. The Salesperson worked out with the service writer for me to borrow her car so I could get back to work and then I could swap cars after work and pickup the paperwork. I came back at 4:30 PM to swap cars and get the Title and Safety & Emissions Inspection. They had the Inspections completed but I had to drive to Bommarito Honda to pickup the Title paperwork. When I got in my car, there was black soot stains in the new floor mats that I bought that came from their shop. I took it back in for them to clean the mats and asked why they don't use protective paper mats like Lou Fusz does. They did clean the floor mats, but delayed me more. After this I drove up the street to Bommarito Honda to pickup my title and they couldn't find it. It took about 10 minutes to find. I complained to my salesperson, service writer and the receptionist at the main office and manager at the main office. Everyone listened, but no one apologized. I told each one of them that I bought a $65,000 car from Lou Fusz several years back and plan to replace it in the next couple of years and told them that I wouldn't buy from Bommarito. They lost me as a future customer. No one cared and the manager at the main office could only say, "You bought that at the VW store, I have nothing to do with them". What? This was the main office. Isn't this Bommarito? The kick of it all is my temp plates expire Sat and it is now Thursday and too late to get to DMV. I fly out of town tonight and have to leave the car at the airport and the plates will be expired when I get back. I care and will make sure I tell my story to anyone looking to buy a car. More
