I don’t recommend Bommarito Ford in Hazelwood for any service work or for a new vehicle purchase. I purchased a premium maintenance plan at the time I purchased a new truck thru Bommarito. Salesman was service work or for a new vehicle purchase. I purchased a premium maintenance plan at the time I purchased a new truck thru Bommarito. Salesman was not honest about the plan and number of times I could bring the truck in for maintenance through the plan. The service department continually makes mistakes, wrong engine oil put in engine, to technicians flat out not performing the work but invoices show work was completed, not changing oil or rotating tires. Also, during past service experience, I get my truck back with oily handprints all over fenders and front bumper which looked intentionally placed, to grease marks on the fabric of driver seat, console, and passenger headrest. I was never reimbursed for a car wash as promised and they did a poor attempt at cleaning the grease marks from the upholstery. The service manager, during a call today, suggested a few times that I take my truck to a smaller dealership who handles a smaller volume of vehicles thru the service department, or to take my truck to a mom-and-pop shop, since Bommarito keeps getting it wrong. He offered no compensation for having to return the following day to have corrected oil put in engine, top off fluids, and put proper air pressure in tires. He also refused to provide funding for next two oil changes stilled owed to me since he suggested I take my truck to a service provider that can handle a smaller volume of vehicles. The service manager also made it clear he didn’t care about customer service or the customer. More

I also needed shocks replaced since the OEM shocks are trash but luckily they told me over the phone that they could not help me, so saved me a trip! Recommend only go there for oil changes when you have a coupon. More
Took my truck in to get a wheel cylinder seal replaced, was told the brakes have to be replaced. Said I will replace the brakes. Just replace the seal I have a warranty. Went to pick it up 3 days later and was told the brakes have to be replaced. Said I will replace the brakes. Just replace the seal I have a warranty. Went to pick it up 3 days later and they did not replace the seal said they had to replace brake pads first, what the xxxx is going on. Worst service ever. WARNING do not take a vehicle here for any reason they will not do what you want them to do. My next call is to the BBB because I consider this bait and switch AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE More
The service manager Taylor Cook is terrible for the Ford brand. Bring my truck in for an estimate for blown ignition coil and plug. I informed the young service counter attendant of the issue and he not hav brand. Bring my truck in for an estimate for blown ignition coil and plug. I informed the young service counter attendant of the issue and he not having much knowledge of my issue, he referred to the service manager Taylor. Taylor tells me it's his experience that when that happens it will take 3 1/2 hrs in labor to bore out the plug and your estimate cost is between $700-$800 to fix everything. He claim to have just recently did one last week. I then inform him that there is no plug in there and I have removed the broken coil. The young service attendant interjected and said that Taylor is the far most expert at these things. So, I make an appointment for the 1st availability. I bring the car in and revisit the estimate cost conversation. I re-insured the young service attendant that the plug and coil are not in there, and I want you to re-thread & install the new plug and coil that I've previously purchased. I doubled down and told him I've owned this vehicle for over 20years and had my share coil and plug breaking and I've only had to come to the dealer one time because of needing a re-thread. The young attendant referred back to Taylor, reminding him that he gave me a qoute for having to all of the aforementioned but in actuality that wasn't the case today. Taylor tells me it will still be the same price in case you messed up something taking the plug out. I replied I used a magnet to remove the plug and all I need is to have the hole to be re-threaded, and install my plug and ignition coil. Taylor was visibly annoyed with me. I then told the attendant, do the right thing. You guys gave me a qoute for the worst case scenario, but that's not the case today. The attendant said it will take a couple of hours. I said ok, signed the work order and said I'll be back in a couple of hours to pick it up. He then says if you're not staying then your vehicle will be ready by the end of the day. I said wait a minute, I waited a week for an appointment and then my vehicle goes to the back of the line because I'm not a priority because I have to leave. I've never heard of such foolishness. So you're saying if I stay and wait you have 1 car in front of me and if I leave I have 8 cars in front of me. Make it make sense! Why the need for an appointment? I truly hate that the other local Ford dealership have closed because this customer service is ridiculous and I promise you I will never come back or recommend this service department. I can not speak for the dealership in its entirety, but if the service department manager Taylor Cook is the representative of the culture of this dealership well that's an indication of the worst of what you might have to deal with. Honestly everyone else seem to be friendly, but Taylor has ruined it for me and others that would have recommended. More

I said OK. When it was finished, he said the final cost is $640 and I was so shocked. He then went back and did some calculation and it went to $537. I still do not see how $450 plus tax can add up to $537. This $537 is also not the same price on the invoice ($599 on the invoice). So basically their service charge is just a random number, not based on the actual work. If you do not pay attention, you will be scammed by a lot. I will not come back again. it is a very dishonest place to do your service there. More
