I purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer ST in March of 2020 from Bommarito Ford. In August 2020, I received a phone call that the dealership sold me the wrong VIN by mistake after I had already paid taxes and regis Bommarito Ford. In August 2020, I received a phone call that the dealership sold me the wrong VIN by mistake after I had already paid taxes and registered the vehicle and for me to bring in the title so they could correct it. No other options or explanation was given. No apology even for the time out of my day to fix their mistake. The title correction paperwork took MONTHS to get back, like 6 months I was driving around with no title. Then, after multiple follow ups with the dealer, I received the new title in the mail, just the title, no apology, no letter with further instructions, nothing. Well my 2 year plates are due for renewal now and come to find out, I need to update the registration with the state before I can renew my plates because they are tied to the WRONG VIN! Some direction from the dealer on what else I needed to do to fix their mistake would have been nice or any concession for the inconvenience for that matter. Countless hours spent on the phone, and in the DMV trying to fix the DEALER'S MISTAKE and not a single apology from ANYONE! I am so angry with the apparent lack of appreciation for my business and the non-existent accountability to fix their own mistake. More
