Buying a car is normally a very tense experience to say the least. Our experience with Bommarito Ford was GREAT. No pressure what so ever. We, also own a small auto-repair business in Central Illinois. However, we were more than happy to drive the 2 hrs. to St Louis to trade with Bommarito based, on the most pleasant service we received. My husband inquired about the car with Matt Goodson on Friday October 14, 2011. We advised Matt that we would be there on Sat to view the car & talk about price & our trade in of our current vehicle also a Ford Taurus. We left the dealership on Sat around 5:15 after just getting there @ 3:00 what speed to make a deal. We received a call from Matt on Monday to see how things were going w/new ride, we voiced just a couple of concerns small noise in tires, and dirty spot on rear seat along w/driver side molding was a bit dirty, We did receive a detail on Sat but it was a bit rushed given we had a drive back home. Matt assured us that all we needed to do was bring it down & all would be taken care of--- well Matt is more of a new FRIEND THAN SALESMAN he not only had us drop the car off on Thursday Oct 27th on our way to airport- he drove us to the airport curbside drop and returned on Tuesday Nov 1, (his day off) to give us a lift back to the dealer to pick up... Now where do you get service from a salesman like this. Matt Goodson is a true asset to the Bommarito Ford Co. I was very pleased with the purchase of my new Ford Fusion from Dan Bagy. I have bought a car every three years for a long time & this has been the most pleasant experience that I have ever had. He was very busy but he gave me the one on one care for as long as I needed it. My car was not in stock & he had to get it from another dealer & he did a great job. He didn't make me wait around like other dealers have when he knew something was not going to be able to be taken care of, he told me that I could come back. My car was hopefully going to be in Monday but it wasn't able to be here until Wednesday but he was great about calling me & letting me know the changes so I didn't waste my time. I have spent up to 6 1/2 hours at a dealer before, which was ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I would & will recommend Dan & your dealership to everyone every chance I get. Thanks for the great service. Not being negative but when I come back for the oil changes & any service I need will be the extra test. A couple dealers were great when they were trying to sell me a car but once I needed to come back for warranty stuff, or anything else, they acted like I didn't exist.
