Edgar did a good job of dealing with my request to purchase your 2024 GMC AT4X. There was a breakdown in communication but Alex the Manager went above and beyond to make the situation right with me. Review for Bob Tomes Ford If I could give Bob Tomes Ford zero stars, I absolutely would. This is by far the worst Ford dealership in the DFW area, and my experience here has been nothing short of infur Ford zero stars, I absolutely would. This is by far the worst Ford dealership in the DFW area, and my experience here has been nothing short of infuriating. First, they are extremely pushy when it comes to sales. From the moment you step on the lot, you feel bombarded and pressured into making a purchase. There’s no regard for what you actually want or need—they’re solely focused on closing a sale at all costs. To make matters worse, they sneak over $3,000 worth of useless add-ons into the final price without even telling you. It’s shady, dishonest, and feels like a total bait-and-switch. I didn’t even realize the inflated costs until it was too late. We’re a fast-growing company, and this dealership completely ruined what could’ve been a strong, long-term business relationship over a few thousand dollars. Recently, we were in the market for both an F-250 and an F-350. I personally called their salesperson and asked them to match a price from another dealership. Instead of working with us, he called back claiming that he had spoken with the other dealership and that their pricing was “wrong” and “misleading,” accusing them of lying just to get people in the door. This was an obvious and unprofessional attempt to undermine the competition, but guess what? I’ll save my time by never stepping foot in Bob Tomes Ford again. Their service department is just as bad, if not worse. Any issues with the vehicle are met with indifference and subpar customer care. They clearly don’t prioritize their customers, and you get the distinct feeling that once the sale is made, you’re no longer important to them. I deeply regret buying my truck from Bob Tomes Ford and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. This place is a nightmare, and I will never do business with them again. Avoid at all costs. More
An OK experience for my first ever car purchase, but get ready for an all day experience. If money was no object and you could say yes to every add-on imaginable then sure, I bet it can be an easy process. ready for an all day experience. If money was no object and you could say yes to every add-on imaginable then sure, I bet it can be an easy process. At a certain point you are just ready to call it quits and go home, but they always have something to say that keeps you there. I worked with Kendrick in the pre-owned sales department and he was nice enough, relatively easy to work with. I told him what I was willing to pay and I got it. The financing department is really where I got annoyed and got in my car to leave. I'm not a person that can be pressured into something and I knew what I wanted to spend. The cost was just too much and Everyone kept looking at me with a weird look saying "is it a money thing?" I made it clear what I wanted to spend and they just wouldn't listen. I walked out, got in my car and was about to leave when Kendrick came back out and wondered what happened. I simply told him that the payments were higher than what I told him I wanted to spend. Especially considering I have a perfect working car. He told me to hold tight, and after a few minutes got me the price I originally wanted the whole time. It was mentally exhausting, but in the end I got the truck I wanted. More
