Misled on Timing Belt Replacement - Water Pump Not Mentioned Took my car in for a recall notice. Was told i needed a timing belt and back brakes. When I called around for prices, was told that when a timing bel Took my car in for a recall notice. Was told i needed a timing belt and back brakes. When I called around for prices, was told that when a timing belt is changed out, the water pump always needs to be replaced as well. I was not told that and feel I was misled as I know if they would have done the work, they would have added that on which would have cost me a lot more money.
