I believe you have been given the whole story. We had to wait for 3 hours to purchase our new Prius. In this length of time, sitting, pacing, watching many employees wandering from room to room. Two other customers were waiting as well. Our meeting to finish the car deal was a scheduled appointment. No surprises. Yet the wait went on and on. If we wanted any refreshments there were vending machines, we saw on our own. Not one employee ever asked if they could get us anything, as they were wandering. If I would have been buying the car without my husband, the deal would not have happened. I would have left. Lucky for your business, my husband is more patient. Yet he also stated if he wants to buy another vehicle, he would not return here. Our sales person and others were very friendly, nice, just not customer oriented. Or maybe never trained as how to make customers feel like a priority, or provide ways to make the wait not as uncomfortable for customers. We headed to this store because the web site listed several cars we were interested in. We get there (hour drive) only to find out the dealership has none of these vehicles. We put money down on the prius, it was being shipped. Several weeks later, we look at the web site again only to see the prius we have the deposit on listed as available. We were told this is how the dealership works. Web sites are not correct, but gets customers in, kind of like a bait and switch deal. This is wrong and deceiving. I am aware that other dealerships do this as well. As a customer, maybe this is ONE reason people are buying cars online. Customer care and honesty should be priority. Kim Culpepper and Marvin Kun
