These guys are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I appreciate that David and Arron in the front office, and Josh in the back, who actually worked on my car, treated me, a small blonde professional. I appreciate that David and Arron in the front office, and Josh in the back, who actually worked on my car, treated me, a small blonde woman, with courtesy, and respect. There was still an issue after they fixed it. I have only had my 21' Tahoe a couple of weeks. Even though it is a previously owned vehicle, it is still under factory warranty, and I didn't puchase it from Bob Pulty. Josh came outside and sat in my car with me and showed me the steps I needed to take to set the functions the way I want them to be. He could have just told me to read the manual but he didn't, he sat with me and explained a few things. To me, that is above and beyond, and that is what will bring me back to Bob Pulty Chevrolet! I brought in my Certified Pre-Owned Chevy Tahoe which is still under a "bumper-to-bumper" warranty to fix or replace the front seats, as they have started to come apart. I have a hard copy of the warranty i still under a "bumper-to-bumper" warranty to fix or replace the front seats, as they have started to come apart. I have a hard copy of the warranty in hand that I received when I purchased the vehicle 1 week ago, stating that it is still completely covered. Bob Pulte's service department told me that they would take pictures of the seats to send to GMC and would get back to me within 24-48 hours with their response. After not hearing anything for 2 days, I reached out to them only for them to refuse to honor the warranty. The service tech then told me that if I had a problem with that, to take my car back to the dealer I had purchased it from. I may not know how to run a business, despite being a doctoral candidate and having my own business, but I do know how to read a contract and how to understand a warranty. Bob Pulte's service department is extremely unprofessional. They should have called me within the timeframe that they specified, even if it was to decline me instead of waiting for me to reach out to them. They also should have recommended other solutions, rather than just telling me to take the car back to the dealer. More
I initially brought the Tahoe in for an air conditioning issue. I was given a list of items that needed to be taken care of in addition to the air conditioning. We decided to get the air conditioning fixed issue. I was given a list of items that needed to be taken care of in addition to the air conditioning. We decided to get the air conditioning fixed in addition to what was covered by our warranty. My husband and I also decided we would create a plan to fix the other items at another date as they were not critical. We picked up the truck after we were informed that the air was fixed. It still felt warm but I was encouraged to give it time and that the air had been thoroughly tested. I would also like the point out that the car was also extremely loud. It also cut off on us three times that week. As the week progressed, the blowing air became warmer and warmer. By day four there was no cool air blowing at all. To be clear, the air was never cold. We were supposed to be going on an AAU basketball trip the weekend the air stopped working and we were providing transportation for four additional children as well as their parents did not have the means to transport them. It was unreasonable to think that we could transport 6 children in 90+ degree weather for a 7 hour trip. We were unable to rent a vehicle due to the short notice. There were no vehicles large enough to accommodate us. We had to split up the children and pay others to assist. In addition, I had surgery scheduled the week after the trip. My husband had to try to accommodate me during a hospital stay and also had to find a way to get the truck back to the shop to get it fixed. Two weeks post op after a major surgery I had to drive to the dealership to help my husband drop off the truck (as he needs a bigger vehicle for work) and to pick it up as well. Blake was kind but he also tried to convince us that they were doing us a favor by fixing the real issue that was causing the air not to work. “Oh we won’t charge you again. You won’t have to pay that deductible.” I would think not. Had it been fixed appropriately we wouldn’t have been in that situation. Our air conditioning is fixed but our car is still extremely loud and rides far more rough than it did when we dropped it off. I’ve never been to a dealership and had an experience in which our car is in worse shape than when we dropped it off. This is my third car with Bob Pulte. Never again. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and tell my friends and colleagues to do the same. Update 9/12: Bob Pulte did in fact call me, but no one has returned my three messages from a week ago. Update 9/23: Not only has the truck gotten louder, but now it won’t consistently start. These were issues we never had until we took our car to Bob Pulte for the air conditioning to be serviced. When the air conditioner turns on, the battery dies and they claim they had nothing to do with this issue. As my voicemails remain unanswered, I am filing a complaint with the BBB. 10/5/22 Tried again to get resolution. They now say we owe $800. They refuse to own their mistakes. More
