90,000 mile service First of all -- the actual service portion of my experience was good. I feel like my service writer Michael B was thorough and understandable when ex First of all -- the actual service portion of my experience was good. I feel like my service writer Michael B was thorough and understandable when explaining what would be done to my vehicle as I checked in and what was actually done and the suggested items when I picked up my car. The service department is clean, well lit and user friendly. The waiting area is nice. My only complaint is that it practically took an act of congress to make the appointment. I called the dealership's main number and was happily transferred to service -- where the phone rang so many times that my call returned to the switchboard. After two attempts to book my appointment over the phone I decided to try and book it online. That was another exercise in futility. I tried Chat and was told that they needed more than 40 hours notice to book an appointment. My Chat person did give me a link to a more user friendly online appointment site and I got my Friday appointment. There is a comment section on the online appointment page where I mentioned that I would need a ride to work and then picked up in the afternoon when my car was ready. Evidently, the comments are not sent to the service department along with the appointment request because no one was prepared to give me a ride. I use Volkswagen of Edmond because it is close to my office but sometimes i wish there was a better choice. More
Service at February 22nd I needed oil change at 20k. I did not have an appointment. Dropped the car at around 9am and asked them to change the oil during the day. They promised to call me if they find a problem and when it will be ready. I never got a call and and when arrived (around 6 pm) it was not ready yet. After about 15 min I got the car payed for service. I did not pay much attention to bill in the center but at home I noticed that I have been charged $6 for complementary car wash. More
